《Grand Magic Games: Fairy Tail X Magi Crossover》Chapter 7

Standing up, everyone circled around Wendy.
"That Old Lady was Grandine?!" Gray put his hands inside the pockets of his coat.
"She had the same voice as the dragon you were looking for?" Lucy asked.
"I don't know." Carla said.
"What could that mean?!" Happy turned towards Carla.
Standing in front of her, Natsu put his hands on his hips. "Are you sure, Wendy?"
"Mm...I don't know." She kept her head down, tears in her eyes. "But...that smell...and that voice...My Mom...It was the same as the Sky Dragon Grandine..."
"I think it makes sense." Sora poked her chin.
"What d'ya mean?" Natsu asked.
"I mean, think 'bout it. When we were in Edolas, there were different versions of us in that universe."
Stumped, Natsu walked away, annoyed. "I'm going back there. I gotta figure some things out."
"Are ya sure your tiny brain could handle that?" Sora put her hand on her hip, smirking.
"Huh?!"
Before the siblings could bicker, Gray intervened. "Hold it. If Grandine has really changed into a human...don't you think that's kind of strange?"
"That's right! Natsu, Sora, and Wendy...and then even Gajeel...your dragons disappeared 7 years ago." Lucy said. "Well, actually now it's been 14 years. In the year 777."
"Get to the point already!" Sora shouted.
"Sorry, sorry...Anyways, Porlyusica has been an acquaintance of the Masters long before that. In other words, Porlyusica's existence overlaps the time when the dragons were still here. In that case, this situation would contradict itself. She couldn't be both people at once."
"Dying and then being reincarnated is probably unlikely too, isn't it..." Gray looked at her.
Natsu was merely confused, what with question marks appearing on his head. "Yeah."
"Then what I said makes perfect sense." Sora said.
"Well, it surely explains a few things. Who knows, you could be onto something." Lucy suggested. "Hmm...but if she was from Edolas, how is she here?"
"But when I went to a different world, when I was a kid, Dad turned into a human."
"Hmm...Then I don't know."
"What did he look like?!" Natsu jumped up and down, all excited. Wracking her brain, she described him from how she remembered him.
Wendy looked towards the sky. "Now that I think about it calmly for a second, it is strange. Her voice and smell were the same, but her tone and attitude were completely different."
"I remember you saying a while back that Grandine loved humans." Carla said.

"B-but what if she hates cats?" Happy asked.
Wendy stood up, dusting off her knees. "Grandine is a really gentle dragon."
"I can't even imagine a dragon being gentle." Gray said.
"Ever since Acnologia-" Lucy said.
"Hey! You're talkin' 'bout our Dad!" Sora was about to hit Lucy.
"Igneel is gentle, too..." Natsu crossed his arms over his chest.
Suddenly, Porlyusica appeared behind Lucy and Gray. "Well, excuse me for not being gentle." She frowned while everyone screamed.
"Porlyusica!" Lucy said.
"You surprised us!" Gray's face showed irritation.
"Geez...You babies!" Sora laughed.
"Well, don't we all wish we could sense her like Dragon Slayers."
As Wendy looked at Porlysica, Grandine turned to her. "I don't have anything to hide from you. So, I'll tell you what you want to know. I'm not the Grandine you're looking for. I'm a bonafide human, through and through."
"But you said you hate humans." Natsu said.
"Is there something wrong with a human hating humans?!"
"But...wouldn't you hate yourself?..." Sora sweat dropped. (A/N: I had a teacher who says she hates hates whites when she, herself, is a white...I don't mean to be raciest, okay! I was simply stating this! Anyways, she said that almost everyday, and I was laughing and asked this myself.)
Porlyusica looked away. "Sorry, but I don't know where the dragons are. I don't have anything to do with dragons in any way."
"Then what are you...?" Lucy asked.
"You are aware of Edolas, the alternate world parallel to our own, correct? I heard that you met yourselves in Edolas."
"Edolas...you mean..." Gray's brows twitched.
"It can't be..." Lucy gasped.
Natsu turned between them. "Eh? What?"
Sora face-palmed. "How could you forget...?!"
"No way...!" Carla said. Happy was confused.
"If I were to put it in the perspective of Earthland's humans...I am the Grandine from Edolas. I got lost and stranded in this world decades ago."
While everyone was shocked, Sora laughed. "Called it!"
"How did you guess that so exact?!" Lucy shook her.
"Hunch...I guess...?"
"You guess!"
"Edo-Grandine!" Carla said.
"She's a human over there..." Happy's swirled with confusion.
As Wendy heard this, she was silent the entire time. "I could have gotten Makarov to help me get back to the other world...but eventually I grew to like Earthland...I've had all sorts of chances to return, in fact, but I chose to stay here..."
"Does that mean I gneel and Metallicana are humans over there, too?!" Natsu shouted.

"And are they here in this world?!" Sora asked.
"I don't know. I've never met them." She turned to Wendy. "But...I have talked to the Sky Dragon before."
"Ehh?!"
"Of course, I haven't met her. She spoke through my heart with magic." She started rummaging through her coat. "You said you wanted to get 'strong', right? Wendy, you might be able to do something about that." In her grip was a stack of papers put together like a book. "I wrote out these magic spells for you, exactly as I was told to by the Sky Dragon. The two air magics, 'Mildy Way' and 'Shining Wave: Air Drill'. These are secret Dragon Slaying techniques she left to you."
As Wendy held them, she looked at them. "Grandine...for me..."
"She told me to give them to you, if I ever met you." Porlyusica turned her back towards them, starting to walk away. "Those magics are of an extra-ordinarily difficult level. If you overdo it, you'll wreck your body."
Wendy bowed. "Thank you so much, Miss Porlyusica!" Straitening herself, she held the papers close to her chest, smiling. "Grandine!" However, Porlyusica smiled a fraction.
"It would've been nice if she spoke to Igneel and Metalligana..." Sora kicked the ground.
"Yeah..." Natsu looked down.
Meanwhile~~~~~
As Romeo and Makao bickered on participating in the Games, Natsu, Lucy, Sora, Wendy, Happy, Carla, and Gray made it back to the Guild.
"We're back." Natsu said.
"Oh! Did you bring us back some wonderful pills?" Max asked.
"Well...something like that~" Sora said as Wendy giggled.
"Just for Wendy." Lucy said.
"You don't have any authority to decide anymore, Dad! You're not the Master anymore!" Romeo shouted.
"I'm saying this as a member of the Guild!" Makao countered.
"What's the fight 'bout?" Sora cocked her head to the right, hands on her hips.
"It looks like some father-son dispute." Carla said.
"Everyone for not participating! Raise your hands!" Makao said.
While Nab, Warren, Wakaba, Alzack, Asuka, and Bisca raised their hands, Alzack sweat dropped. "Seriously, guys? Can you please knock it off already...?"
"I feel...embarrassed...like I should be ashamed..." Bisca sighed.
"But we've got the Tenrou guys here this time! Natsu, Sora and Erza are here! There's no way Fairy Tail can lose!" Romeo encouraged, leaving said names confused. Sora and Natsu turned towards each other.
"But the Tenrou Team has had 7 years of blank time." Warren said.
As Levy laughed nervously, Jet and Droy patted her back. "You're fine the way you are, Levy!"
"Going? Not going?" Natsu asked.
"What are they talkin' 'bout?" Sora asked.
Natsu leaned towards her ear. "Sounds like Lucy's constipation issues..."
As Sora laughed, Lucy shouted, "What are you doing telling everyone that?!"
Finally down bickering, Romeo turned to the returning group from the forest. "While you were gone, an annual festival was created to decide the no.1 Guild in Fiore, Natsu! Sora!"
Happy jumped into the air. "Yeah!"
"That sounds awesome!" Natsu and Sora yelled.
"All the Guilds of Fiore get together and compete with their magic power. It's called..." Sora did a drumroll. "The Grand Magic Games!"
As Natsu and Sora yelled with excitement, Lucy said, "The Grand Macig Games?!"
"That sounds fun!" Wendy clutched the paper close to her chest, smiling.
Gray smirked. "It sounds just like a festival."
"I see...so if we can win there..."
"Fairy Tail will become-" Natsu started.
"The no.1 Guild in Fiore!"
Makarov contemplated this. "But...do you really think you can win with your magic power as it is now?"
"Yeah! Of course we do!" Makao yelled.
"But didn't you just..." Sora started.
"If we win, the Guild gets a 30,000,000 jewel prize!" Romeo grinned; he had them now.
"We're going!" Makarov announced.
"Master?!"
As Jet, Droy, and Warren made excuses, Makarov said to not let any of the things that happened in the past worry them.
"I'm all fired up!" While Natsu and Sora said this, Natsu's mouth breathed out smoke.
"He's lost it!" Jet and Droy backed away while Droy ate.
Natsu and Sora turned towards Romeo. "When is this event happening?!" Natsu asked.
"In 3 months!"
"That's plenty of time! We'll get ourselves in shape by then!" Sora pounded her fists together, smirking.
"Fairy Tail will once again be the no.1 Guild in Fiore!" Natsu did the same.
While many smirked, saying that they will accomplish this great feat, Wendy announced her papers to everyone. Happy pestered Carla about it while Elfman howled with laughter, saying it was all about honor.
"Gildarts' wish...it looks like it may be coming true sooner than he expected." Cana smirked.
"Seriously?" Droy asked.
"Are we really gonna go?" Levy asked Jet.
"What's wrong with trying?"
"I...think it'd be best if we didn't..." Alzack said.
However, Bisca continued seeing Natsu and Sora confused. "Natsu...Sora...it's not exactly the battle festival you're thinking it is."
"Eh?! It's not?!"
"It's Hell-" Warren was interrupted by Makarov.
"We've already decided we're going, so let's skip all the whining and useless chit-chat! Let's aim for those 30 million-" He coughed into his fist. "I mean, let's I'm for no.1 in Fiore! Team Fairy Tail! We're gonna take part in the Grand Magic Games!"
