Far away, Ultear and Meredy were watching the Games from a cliff.

"Looks like the Games have finally gotten started." Ultear said with her right arm on her hip.

"And in the end, Jellal went ahead and joined the Tournament anyway." Meredy said bending down to watch. Looking towards Ultear, she smiled. "That means there was no point to Fairy Tail risking themselves to meet with him beforehand."

"Oh come on, there was some point, wasn't there? At the very least for those two..."

With Fairy Tail~~~~

Sitting on the edge of the stadium, Mavis smiled, and started explaining how the Games work.

During this, Alibaba whispered to Aladdin, "Who's she speaking to?"

"Beats me."

Sweat dropping, Magi crew merely sighed. 'Guess this is how Fairy Tail works: speaking to an invisible audience...'

Finally down with her explanation, Fairy Tail waved to their teams, cheering for them, along with Magi. "Give 'em your best, Fairy Tail!"

As the audience cheered for their chosen teams, Pumpkin walked in the arena. "Will each team's participant for 'Hidden' please come forward."

Smirking, Gray walked forwards. "Looks like it's time for me to go."

"Do your best!" Lucy cheered.

While Natsu pointed at him. "Don't you dare lose! Especially to Gajeel's team!...Or Sabertooth...or Raven Tail...or..."

Hence Elfman's response. "It's a man's duty to win! Go do it, Gray!"

"We're finally ready to begin." Chapati said. "I wonder what kind of contest Hidden will be?" Looking towards Yajima, he asked, "Yajima, is there anyone we should be looking out for?"

Yajima simply smiled. "Hmm...Well, we all know Rufus is the force to be reckoned with here...but I'm gonna be keeping an eye on Gray."

"What about you, Jenny?"

"I'm all for Eve, of course. He's so strong."

During this intermission, all the members came forward. Lyon, from Lamia; Sora, from Team B; Gray, from Team A; Eve, from Blue Pegasus; Rufus, from Sabertooth; Nalpuddin, from Raven Tail; Beth, from Mermaid Heel; and Yeager, from Quatro.

Meanwhile, Juvia was pouting but keeping a close eye on Sora. "Rival..." Hence scaring away Magi as they were about to see if she was okay.

"Let's agree to never take away her lover..." Alibaba said, shivering.

"Yeah..." everyone, aside from Kouen who kept his emotions in check, agreed.

Walking towards Gray, she pointed at him. "I don't plan to lose to you just 'cause your my friend!"

"Same here. Wouldn't want you to go easy on me."

Turning to Lyon as he was about to speak, she smirked. "Hey Lyon, now's the time to show Juvia your strengths."

"Y-yes...For So-Uhh I mean Juvia!"

Patting him on the back, she grinned. "That's the spirit!"

Pulling her away, Gray's brows twitched. "Ignore him...or you'll catch his stupidity." Hence, she spit out saliva from laughing.

"Excuse me. But I happen to be an intelligent individual! You're just jealous."

"Yeah...whatever." Turning to Pumpkin, Gray bended down with his hands in his trench coat pockets. "By the way, this has been bothering me ever since the Preliminaries...What the heck are you?"

"Exactly what I look like: I'm a pumpkin~"

"Huh? Was there something wrong with me asking?" Gray started to sweat from nervousness.

"It looks like a pumpkin to me, too." a member said.

"Err...nevermind."

"So, we should call you 'Pumpkin'?" Sora tilted her head.

"Whatever you want to~"

"...okay..."

Smiling, Eve said, "We see it every year, so we didn't really notice."

"I think it's probably part of the organizers." Beth stated.

Bowing Pumpkin, Beth and Eve said, "Good work on your character design."

"No, no, I had a lot of fun doing it, so it was problem. Pumpkii~"

"Don't start overdoing your character, now." Gray sweat dropped.

"...But...what does he have anything to do with this whole thing...?" Sora said.

"Beats me."

Walking forwards, Nalpudding's grin widened. "Excuse me just a moment, please...We still haven't been informed about what kind of contests we're going to be taking part in today. In fact...all of the contests are being kept secret...But regardless of what it might be, having two Guild-mates competing, Fairy Tail has a huge advantage, right?"

"What?" Gray spat while Sora narrowed her eyes.

"That's just how it goes. The fact that two teams from the same Guild made it all the way to the finals is nothing short of amazing...P-pumpkii..."

" 'sides, we aren't gonna let that get in the way of winning, right Gray?"

"Yeah."

"I'm fine with it." Rufus said. "A little tune from the banks of my memory. I guarantee that having two of you competing...ultimately will not be what you'd call advantageous."

Yeager pounded his fist together. "It makes no difference to me."

"I think it's okay, too." Beth said.

"Tch." Nalpudding's plan didn't go as he wanted it to.

"Impressive. So there's something behind this royal prince routine..." Gray smirked.

Looking towards him, he pointed 2 fingers to his head, and smiled. "Your comrades can also become your weaknesses. Taking hostages, targets to threaten, interrogating for information...there's countless other ways your enemy can use the to create an advantageous situation. You should remember that."

"Then they would be cowards in my dictionary." Sora crossed her arms over her chest. As she watched Rufus bending his head to her, she whispered to Gray, "I don't like the vibe he's giving off."

"Hmm..."

"Field open!" Pumpking raised a figure in the air, indicating the action taking place: pixels started to form into objects, alarming everyone. When they saw the finished product, it turned out to be an exact replica of the town.

Meanwhile, Jellal questioned this. 'Creating an entire city?! Just what kind of magic power would that take...?!"

With Magi, Alibaba, Aladdin, Sin, and Muu stood up, almost falling out of their seats.

"Woah..." Aladdin said.

"How is that possible?!" Alibaba exclaimed.

"Wish I knew..." Sin mumbled.

Before they could react, the members vanished and reappeared in the town.

Panicking, Gray searched for Sora and Lyon, shouting their names. "Where's everyone else?!" He saw no one in sight.

With Sora, she calmed herself down, and searched for everyone. "Hmm..."

Smiling, Eve looked down. "Are we playing hide and seek here?"

"Where should I hide?" Beth asked herself, glancing everywhere.

"Hmph." Nalpudding smirked.

"This is weird...How are we gonna play hide and seek like this..." Yeager asked himself. (A/N: Question: If they're all split up, how could they hear what Eve said?)

Lyon searched for everyone, mostly Sora, while Rufus started to form a plan.

"After all, nobody's 'it'." Yeager stated, searching around.

"Everyone in the stadium, you can keep track of everything happening inside the city with our Lachryma Vision." Chapati explained as a screen appeared in the sky.

"Lachryma..." Sin mumbled.

"It can do a lot of things!" Aladdin said, amazed.

"Hmm...I should get a piece of it and take it back for study purposes..." Kouen started calculating the many things he could do with it once it was studied thoroughly. Hence, everyone shivered, especially Aladdin who knew first hand of his obsession with learning new things that interest.

"The 8 participating competitors don't know the whereabouts of each other." Chapati continued.

"The rules of Hidden are simple: all of you will be 'it' and be looking for each other mutually. Find each other inside that city. You're free to use any magic you like, you just need to land one hit. If contact is made, a point is added to the attacker and taken from the victim. Damage doesn't matter."

Before the competitors could react, versions of each appeared around them, each one different ranching from poses to faces, making everyone shocked.

"They've all got their faces!" Lucy said.

While Natsu started to sweat, Elfman said, "Is it making your head spin?"

"This is gonna be tough." Erza said.

"Multiple Soras..." Sin started to daydream.

Karate-chopping his head, Muu was annoyed from his indecency. "Perverted jerk!"

"What about you?! What would you do if you saw many versions of Sora?!" Sin said as he held his bruised head.

"I would try to look for the real one!"

"I don't think I could handle another Sora..." Kouen said as Aladdin, Morg, and Alibaba nodded their heads.

"These are copies of all of you." Chapati explained. "If you attack a copy by mistake...you will lose a point. Okay, then! Vanish into the stillness! Stalk like black cats under the shroud of night!" As he said this, a gong was hit against. "Hidden has begun!" The crowd cheered.

"Hidden or not...how the heck are you supposed to find your opponents in this?!"

"S-so many Soras!" Going one to the other, Lyon lost his composure. "No...I must concentrate..." Glancing at them, he couldn't take it anymore. "Maybe just one peek..." With his perverted side coming out, he groped her chest, sniffed her, etc.

With Magi, as Sin saw this, he raised his fist in the air, and cursed Lyon. "So lucky..." While the others sweat dropped, Muu had the urge to beat Lyon in a million ways as Kouen merely watched the scene.

Running, Gray glanced everywhere out of caution. "The real challenge here isn't hiding...it's figuring out a way to find."

However, Nalpudding interrupted his run. "Well, well, well...Now, if only you had grasped the rules a little bit earlier, hmm?"

Turning around, Gray yelled, "Who's there?!"

"Raven Tail's...Nalpudding." (A/N: I'm not kidding. They had Narupudding for his name in the manga! I literally laughed. It fits him so well.)

"Well, it looks like you've got me, here..." As Nalpudding merely laughed, Gray started using his ice magic. "And saved me the trouble of finding you! Ice Hammer!" As he saw the dust clear, he smirked. "I believe...this counts as a point?" When it cleared, he saw Nal smirk since he had no scratch on him while there was another of Nal on the ground.

Walking forwards, Nal put his arm in front of him. "Too bad there...that was a copy, hm?"

Feeling electricity pulse through him, Gray was landed in another location. Gray hit the ground out of anger. 'Shoot! He got me! I get it...! That's what he did; he carefully maneuvered with one of his copies close to his opponent...'

Standing up, he looked to the ground. 'A plan like his is definitely an option...but as long as I can identify my opponent, I can score on them with a surprise attack. And as long as I act exactly like a copy, they won't be able to identify me. So, this is Hidden.'

Meanwhile, Sora was cautiously walking around the town. 'Man, it sure is creepy without hearing anyone 'round...' Turning a corner, she caught sight of the members who were fighting in this event. Standing in the group, she made sure to act like a copy. However, her peace didn't last long; minding her business, Nal tried attacking her but failed as she dodged.

"Looks like I missed."

"Is it that obvious?" Landing on her feet, she watched him carefully as he ran after her. Dodging his attacks, she smirked. Igniting fire, she threw fireballs at him, allowing him to dodge each. 'Looks like he's on defense...' Suddenly coming to a stop, she jumped on top of a building. Before he could react, she grabbed his clothing as he jumped after her in the air, and smashed him into the ground. Smirking, she watched as he disappeared into another part of town. Grinning, she gained 1 point. 'Better round up more!' Running, she found another hiding spot, standing there, and waiting, though it took all her might not to fight unrationally. She needed to form a plan, in order to win. "This is the most boring battle in the world..." Bending over, she sighed, and went back to her pose.

As the crowd cheered, Lucy said, "Everyone has blended into the crowd."

"I'm so glad I didn't go...this would have been impossible for me." Elfman said.

Seeing the other teams hiding, Natsu raked his brain. "How are they supposed to find anybody like this?!"

"Well, you finally woke up." Erza said as she put her hands on her hips. Looking to the screen, she concluded, 'All it takes is one mistake to give yourself away to your opponent. Which one is the enemy? Which one is real?'

As Gray stood like a copy, Nalpudding attacked him. "Found you!"

As Nal hit him in the back, Gray looked behind him. "You...you went for me again..."

"What's wrong with that, hm?" This earned him a point while Gray lost 1.
