Micha's POV

As I walk through the hall to the admin office to collect my schedule, I still feel the eyes of people on me, hanging around their lockers, whispering about me. After what feels like hours, I finally get to the office, "Hi, my name is Micha Jacobs, I'm here to collect my schedule," I let out with a nervous smile, to the elderly lady sitting behind the counter. "Well hi sweetheart, let me just print it out for you, you can just take a seat in the meanwhile." she said with a sweet voice. "Sure, thank you." I say talking a seat watching her walk through a door.

The door to the office opens and in steps in a girl with dark brown hair that she had cut into a pixie cut, she's really pale. She looks looks a bit taken back when she sees me. She's got an interesting set of eyes, I muse, they're really pretty. "Hi." I say while waving at her shyly. "Hey," she says after recovering, "I'm Alice Cullen." her voice is quirky. "Micha Jacobs."

"That's such a cool name." she compliments. "Thanks," I giggle softly. "You the new girl?"

"What gave it away?" I asked letting out a soft laugh. "We live in a small town, word gets around quite fast," she smiles at me.

The lady walks out, "Here you are sweetheart." she says handing me the paper. "Thank you." I say grabbing it. "It was nice meeting you Alice. See you around." I smile at her. Now lets find my first class, art.

Jasper's POV

Alice has been acting a bit these past few weeks, she has been very distant and quite anxious and sad and I have no idea why, I think she saw something but her and Edward refuse to tell me what is happening, I know it has something to do with me because the rest of the family seem to know what 'the big secret is'.

She left this morning with Edward for school instead of driving with me, it's kind of upsetting me, what in the world is going on? Sighing as I step out of the car to meet up with my siblings, I notice everyone there except for Alice, where is she? "Hey guys, where is Alice?" I asked concerned. "She had to go to the office for something." Rosalie answered. That's odd.

"Do you guys know what's been going on," I asked "Alice has been avoiding me these past few weeks and it's really worrying now?"

They all shrugged, "I'm sure it's nothing serious." Edward said holding Bella's hand, clearly lying.

Shaking my head as I walk into the school, I go straight to my locker which is right next to Alice's. I take out my books and see her walking towards me, she steps up to me and gives me a hug, crushing me almost, I hug her back holding her close. "I missed you," I say smiling a bit. "I know, I'm sorry I just had to figure somethings out." she said stepping back, looking into my eyes with a sad smile on her face.

She smells different, sweet almost, like citrus, it's really faint but luring and intoxicating almost. "Have you been using a new perfume, you smell different?" her smile drops almost but she recovers. "Umm, no" she starts, "I bumped into someone at the office, it could be her." she explains.

"I switched all of my classes, well the ones we had together that is."

"Wait what, why?" I asked very much confused, why, why would she do that?

"Alice," "Alice, what is going on?"

"I'm really happy for you Jasper, I'll always love you, I guess now we'll just have to focus on having a friendship and being normal siblings." she said smiling at me.

I stare at her confused, 'friendship'. Is she breaking up with me? After all those years, is she really doing this?

"Alice, what..." I say truly unsure of this, is this a prank, she's just playing right?

"It's okay Jasper, she's here, she's finally here." "She?"

"Your mate Jazz, I saw her coming a few weeks back. Your mate, she's here." she said smiling.

I have a mate?
