《His Light》chapter eleven

Jasper's POV
I sat on my unused bed while looking at the dialed number on my phone's screen.
Have you ever just felt like your world was ending, like nothing you do matters, it hurts to breathe and the funny thing is, I don't even need oxygen but I felt like I needed it , she was the air I needed to breathe, I just didn't know if being near her and causing her harm was worth it.
Alice keeps calling me to update me about what she has been doing, it's killing me to know she's doing fine without me, part of me wants here to feel the hurt that I do... selfish I know but I just can't help it... it has been a month, I miss her and I need to be with her.
"Carlisle, I think I'm ready to come home."
Micha's POV
Another day, another wonderful day in sunny Fork, I wish I could actually say that. It's raining... again, I should really stop being surprised.
Jacob and I have been hanging out quite a lot, I think I'm growing to like him, I mean you have to admit he is very cute and he's really sweet to me, and unlike someone who shall not be named he wouldn't just abandon me for more than a month and not say anything.
Parking my car in the empty space I found, I reached back to grab my umbrella only to feel the material of the seat, "Fantastic, just great, Micha, now you're going to get wet." I sigh looking outside my window, "I guess I just need to make a run for it."
Grabbing my bag, I opened the door and sprinted towards the school's door,
"Finally." I said to myself walking in, looking at my shoes.

"Oof." I just ran into someone, "I am so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was walking." I said still looking down at my shoes.
"Micha..." The familiar voice trailed.
"Oh, screw me," I looked up and saw Jasper Hale, in the flesh, this is a great start to a Monday morning, never thought I'd see him again. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't hear him calling me.
"Micha!"
"What, what could you possibly have to say to me!"
"How are you?"
"How am I, how am I? You're genuinely kidding right." I looked at him, with what felt like the deadliest glare I could possibly master.
"I- I'm sorry, I just, I don't know what else to say." he stuttered.
"You could start by explaining why you abandoned me for a whole month, why you told Alice not to tell me anything about your disappearance, or you know what, you really don't need to say anything at all." I finished my rant breathing heavily, the nerve of this man, who does he even think he.
Just as he was about to say something, I walked away, for my sanity and my peace, I'll just leave him be, I promised myself I was done and I really meant it.

Hi, My Loves
Did I feel like a hypocrite when writing this?
Yes, yes I did, I am Jasper I know... well I don't drink blood but either way.
I apologize for my disappearance, I really don't even have a reason, it's just one of those things. I'll try to do better.

Not your average Bird
Rago didn't have what you would call a good life... Or lives, in his case. For you see, Rago is one of an infinitesimally small number of people that remembers his previous lives. In his first life, he was a young spartan warrior that was killed for being too weak. In his second life, he was a young squire in the courts of Camelot that was tragically killed when his master lost control of his horse, and it kicked him in the head. In his third life, he was a child soldier in Africa that managed to escort a group of children to safety before he was shot in the head by their now ex-captors. And in his fourth life, he spent his entire life in a hospital bed being treated for a currently incurable auto-immune disease. ... But, that's when things changed. He was suddenly brought before an all-powerful being and given yet another go at life... Let's hope things are different this time.
