The Arena was nearly destroyed. There wasn't even anything to fight on anymore. It was just a crater.

The competitors watching were also knocked away and we're currently getting up to try and figure out what happened.

Hanzo: "Oh god... What happened?" Hanzo said as he got up from the pile of rubble he was buried under after the sheer destruction you and netero caused.

Leorio: "H-Holy Crap... Are those two even human?" Leorio said as he also got up from the pile of rubble.

Kurapika: "No Leorio. No, they're not." Kurapika said bluntly, concluding that you're too powerful to be human.

Gon: "Hey guys, you alright?" Gon asked in a concerned tone, Hoping that none of his friends were hurt by any rocks that flew by.

Killua: "We're fine Gon. But what about y/n?" Killua asked, making everyone immediately look toward the arena for you.

After the clash, your clothes we completely tattered. Half of your shirt was destroyed along with your right pant leg. You were also struggling to stand up due to stamina loss, from fighting for several hours and using Hollow purple, which was a technique you didn't have full control over yet.

Y/n: "Ugh... God this sucks. I haven't been like this in who knows how long... Wonder how Netero is doing?" You said while tired.

Then, you see Netero get up. He was tired as well but not as tired as you were. He also looked a bit skinnier than usual.

Netero: "Can you still fight?" Netero said while visibly tired.

Y/n: "Yeah, But I have one last trick up my sleeve." You said tiredly.

You then cross the fingers on your right hand. Netero recognized this, But he didn't get to experience what this was due to Satoru backing out on using it. So he was a bit scared but also excited as to what was about to happen.

Y/n: "Domain Expansion: Infinite-" But before you could cast it, You passed out, Resulting in Netero being the winner.

Netero: "Dammit. He passed out before he could use it. Ah well, Im sure I'll get a chance to see this "Domain Expansion" some other time." Netero said. Slightly sad that he once again didn't get to see what this mysterious 'Domain Expansion' was.

Netero: "Ok! Well, He passed out. That means that I win. We will continue with the regular fights as soon as the arena is repaired.." Netero said as he lifted your body and walked toward the infirmary

Netero: "By the way, Y/n here passes the hunter exam. And will be given his license once he wakes up." Netero explained as he went off to another room and put you onto a bed.

Illumi: 'This could be my chance... But the chairman is still up and active... And I dont know If I could take him even when he's tired.' Illumi thought to himself while he watched you being carried away.

Hisoka, who just knew what Illumi was thinking, give him a warning.

Hisoka: "Illumi. Y/n is mine, Dont you lay a finger on him." Hisoka said threateningly.

Illumi: "Fine." Illumi said begrudgingly.

Illumi REALLY wanted to get rid of you as soon as possible due to the threat that you could impose to the Zoldycks and to what he's about to do when he confronts Killua.

Netero then walks out and orders all of the guards to repair the arena, One of them apparently had a nen ability that allowed them to repair things, which made this process faster.

After several minutes of repairing the arena, it was good as new, as if nothing ever happened.

Netero: "Alright, now that the arena is repaired. Will Gon and Hanzo please step up into the ring?" Netero asked, prompting Gon and Hanzo to prepare to fight.

Masta: "Im Masta. I'll be serving as referee for the tournament. Good luck. Both of you." Masta said.

Hanzo: "Hey. Good to see you again. You were the one who was tailing me around during the fourth phase." Hanzo said, greeting his Psuedo stalker.

Gon was taken aback by this, someone was watching him? He didn't even notice!

Masta: "You noticed that, did you?" Masta asked, slightly impressed that a competitor managed to notice him.

Hanzo: "Naturally. I assume that each of the Examiners was assigned an Examinee to follow. Well, I'm sure that I wasn't the only one who noticed." Hanzo said.

Kurapika: "I noticed, but didn't think it was worth mentioning." Kurapika said.

Leorio: "Uh. Yeah..." Leorio lied nervously. He didn't notice a thing.

Hanzo: "Im very grateful. You recognized my talent and my rank improved as a result. But no surprise there." Hanzo said, boosting his ego to incalculable heights.

Hanzo: "Now, moving on... I have a question for you. We can only win if our opponent surrenders. Correct? Knocking them unconscious doesn't count. No TKOs either?" Hanzo asked.

Masta: "Right. Those are the rules." Masta confirmed for Hanzo.

Hanzo: 'Hmm... I see. Well. This one might prove difficult.' Hanzo thought to himself, having the creeping feeling that Gon won't surrender so easily.

Gon: 'He looks tough. but we should be pretty even in strength and speed. I've just gotta keep him on the move 'til I see an opening.' Gon said, being HORRIBLY wrong.

Masta: "Now, time to start. Begin!" Masta said.

Gon: 'I'll keep some distance!' Gon thought to himself while dashing away.

But then, Hanzo suddenly appears right in front of him.

Hanzo: "You must think you're pretty quick on your feet, dont you? I'll give you that." Hanzo said as he chopped Gon's neck.

Hanzo: "Not half bad for a little kid." Hanzo said as gon fell to the ground.

Hanzo: "Now if this were a regular match, I'd already be declared the winner." Hanzo said.

Hanzo: "C'mon, pull yourself together." Hanzo said as he kneed Gon's back, making him grunt in pain.

Hanzo: "You must feel awful. I hit you hard enough to bounce your brain around your skull. Do you get it? You dont stand a chance. Just give up and spare yourself the trouble." Hanzo said, trying to end this quickly.

Gon: "No way!" Gon said through a strained voice. Prompting Hanzo to rattle his brain again.

Hanzo: "Think hard about it. Surrender now and you'll have another chance. But being stubborn isn't gonna get you anywhere. So just give up." Hanzo said.

Gon: "That's never gonna happen!" Gon strained once more, prompting Hanzo to hit him again.

Hanzo: "Say it." Hanzo said as Gon began to get up. As he got up, Hanzo punched him in the gut again, sending him back to the ground.

Leorio: "Gon! Dont push it! You still have other fights! So just-" Leorio said angrily as he got cut off by Kurapika.

Kurapika: "Leorio! If you were in Gon's position, would you give up?" Kurapika asked.

Leorio: "Hell no I wouldn't!" Leorio said as he went back to watching the fight.

Kurapika: "Gon feels the same." Kurapika said.

Leorio: "Come on! I know that! But it doesn't look like he has much of a choice!" Leorio said angrily.

Kurapika: "My point exactly. But I understand." Kurapika said as Gon got hit again.

Kurapika: 'Surrender, Gon! This is Suicide!' Kurapika thought to himself angrily.

Menchi: "This is unbelievable! The chairman's mean streak is in a class by itself!" Menchi said.

Buhara: "Wait, what do you mean?" Buhara asked.

Menchi: "No applicant who's made it to here, Is simply going to give up a fight that easily." Menchi said.

Buhara: "That's true." Buhara said as Gon got hit again.

Menchi: "This fight isn't just peculiar. A system like this is completely crazy. The kids in real danger." Menchi said.

-Timeskip 3 hours.-

Pokkle: "Three whole hours? Damn.' Pokkle said, feeling bad that Gon has been getting beaten for 3 entire hours.

Bodoro: " Look. He can't even vomit anymore." Bodoro said.

Hanzo: "Now get up." Hanzo said.

Leorio: "Enough already! Im gonna-" but he then gets cut off by someone entering the room.

Y/n: "IM UP! What'd I miss?" You said as you stretched, implying that you were fully recovered.

Then, you notice that Leorio and Kurapika were pissed off, so much so that Kurapikas eyes were Scarlet.

Then, you look into the arena to see Gon getting beaten to a pulp by Hanzo. You get a little shocked by seeing this, but you aren't all that mad.

You then walk over to Killua, to get the rundown on what is going on.

Y/n: "Hey Killua, what exactly is going on? Also, would you so kindly hand over my blindfold?" You asked Killua.

Killua: "In order, Gon has been getting beaten for 3 hours, and yeah sure." Killua answered while handing you your blindfold.

Y/n: "Damn, 3 hours? So thats why Kurapika and Leorio are so angry?" You asked while putting on your blindfold.

Y/n: "Geez. I feel bad for Gon, but I also admire him." You said, Getting Kurapika and Leorio pissed at you.

Leorio: "ADMIRE?! YOUR FRIEND IS GETTING BEATEN TO A PULP AND YOU ADMIRE HIM?!" Leorio shouted at you angrily.

Kurapika: "How can you sit there and watch him to beaten so calmy?!" Kurapika said angrily.

Y/n: "First off, Calm down. Secondly, it's because Gon is super tenacious and resilient. Thats something you dont see in very many people. I can guarantee that If he fought anyone else, Aside from Hisoka and Pin face, They would've given up almost immediately." You said, earning a snicker from Hisoka.

Hisoka: "Pfft! Pin face! Im gonna call you that from now on!" Hisoka said while snickering.

Illumi: 'P-Pin face??' Illumi thought to himself surprised.

Kurapika: "Y/n, You may be right. But I still dont like seeing Gon in pain like this." Kurapika said.

Killua: "Well your gonna have to bear with it." Killua said while sighing in slight annoyance.

Gon: "It's okay. This is... This is nothing. Really... I can still fight him." Gon said, with evident pain in his voice. Earning a frustrated growl from Hanzo.

Hanzo then trips him and threatens him once more.

Hanzo: "I'll break your arm. Im not kidding. Now say it, Say you surrender." Hanzo said angrily, getting sick and tired of Gon's stubbornness.

Gon: "" Gon shouted with determination evident in his voice as Hanzo breaks his arm.

Pokkle: "He actually broke it." Pokkle said, stunned that Hanzo broke his arm.

Hanzo: "There. Now you won't be able to use your left arm anymore." Hanzo said as Leorio ground his teeth in frustration.

Leorio: "Dont try to stop me, Kurapika. If that bastard does anything else, Gon will fail the exam. Cuz I won't be able to stop myself." Leorio said, more pissed than ever before.

Kurapika: "Me? Do you think I'll stop you? Dont worry. There's no chance of that." Kurapika said, also extremely pissed.

Hanzo: "I'm sure you're in too much pain to listen, but hear this. Im a descendant of a clandestine group called the shinobi." Hanzo said as he stood up, on one hand, the other behind his back.

Hanzo: "From the day I was born, I've been subjected to intensive training to master the special art of ninpo. For the past 18 years, I've tirelessly trained my body and honed my technique. By the time I was your age, I had already killed." Hanzo said, thinking that what he just said was a massive flex.

You then burst out with laughter, because his training doesn't sound nearly as bad as what Killuas family has to go through to be assassins. But you immediately stop laughing when everyone turns toward you.

Hanzo: "What's so funny?" Hanzo asked you, angry that someone laughed at his way of fighting.

Y/n: "Nothing, nothing... Keep on fighting." You said while snickering a bit.

Hanzo: "Whatever." Hanzo said as he continued talking to gon.

Hanzo: "At this point and time, you have no hope of defeating me in combat. Im being nice." Hanzo said as he progressively got to standing on one finger.

Hanzo: "So just admit defeat-" Hanzo says as he gets cut off by Gon kicking him to the ground, Surprising everyone.

Gon: "Argh... Dammit! Between the pain and your blabbing, I dont know what cleared my head up more!" Gon said.

Leorio: "Hell yeah! Atta boy! Now kick him while he's down and finished!" Leorio said, immediately switching from an angry mood to an ecstatic one.

Gon: "If you're eighteen, then you're just six years older than me. Besides, this isn't a battle to see who's stronger. It's to see who's willing to throw the towel in first." Gon said as Hanzo got up and leaped away.

Hanzo: "I let you kick me because I wanted to." Hanzo said, earning a laugh from you.

Y/n: "AHAHAHAHA!! QUIT LYING TO YOURSELF! YOU GOT BLINDSIDED BY SOMEONE 6 YEARS YOUNGER THEN YOU! JUST ADMIT IT!!" You said while rolling on the floor in laughter.

Leorio: "You're a liar!" Leorio shouted.

Hanzo: "You must be confused. That was not a warning. It was a direct order. Was it too hard for you to understand? I'm quite happy to break it down for you." Hanzo said while wiping away the blood from his nose and pulling out a concealed knife.

Hanzo: "I'll cut off your legs so that they cant be reattached. A permanent injury should open up your eyes to the current situation. But before we must resort to such things, I want to hear you surrender." Hanzo said while grinning evilly and preparing to slice off Gon's legs.

Gon: "Well, thats a problem." Gon said, shocking everyone.

Gon: "I dont want to have my legs cut off, but I dont want to surrender, either. How 'bout we find a different way to fight?" Gon asked, making Hanzo angry.

Hanzo: "What the hell? Have you not been paying attention?!" Hanzo shouted angrily, making everyone laugh.

Y/n: "OH MY GOD! LOOK AT HIS FACE! HE LOOKS SO PISSED!" You said while rolling on the floor, crying in laughter.

Hanzo: "Are you really making demands!? You messin' with me?! Im seriously about to cut your legs off!" Hanzo shouted angrily.

Gon: "You do what you want, but I won't give up!" Gon said determinedly. Making Hanzo angrier.

Gon: "Besides, if you cut my legs off, I'll probably just bleed to death." Gon said, shocking Hanzo. He didn't even think of the possibility that Gon would die if he did that.

Gon: "Mister Masta? He'd be disqualified for that, right?" Gon asked Masta.

Masta: "Uh... Yes." Masta said, stunned by what's currently happening.

Gon: "See? And that'd be bad for both of us. So, let's think of a better way." Gon said, making Hanzo embarrassed but also angrier.

Kurapiks: "I think Gon is okay. He's in control now." Kurapika said while chuckling.

Y/n: "S-See? I told you he was gonna be fine." You said while getting up and calming down.

Leorio: "He's just so damn stubborn!" Leorio said.

Kurapika: "But he's also convincing to Hanzo and the rest of us. Impressive." Kurapika said while smiling.

Killua: 'What the hell is this? Nothings changed. I mean, it's not like Gon's gotten any stronger. His arm is still broken and everything! But what happened to the mood in here? It was so tense a second ago. Why did it get so much lighter?' Killua thought to himself, confused that the mood went from tense to light-hearted so suddenly.

Hanzo then swings the knife, poking Gon's head and making it bleed a little.

Hanzo: "I see you're not getting it, so I'll try again. Die, and you'll never get another chance. If I kill you right here and now, I only need to come back and take the exam again next year. We are NOT on equal footing!" Hanzo said, still trying to get Gon to surrender.

Killua: 'He's right Gon. You may have the edge when it comes to brains, but you dont have the combat skills he does. Thats, not something you can make up for right now. In the end, it all comes down to ability.' Killua thought to himself, thinking that Gon was gonna lose.

Hanzo: "What's wrong? It's just a stupid sentence! Think! Give up and you can still try again next year!" Hanzo said, still not getting a response from Gon.

Hanzo: "Is your pride truly all you care about?! Even more than your life? Is it worth dying for?!" Hanzo shouted at Gon angrily.

Gon: "I'm gonna go see my dad." Gon said, shocking everyone.

Hanzo: "Your dad?" Hanzo asked confused that His opponent would just randomly bring up his dad.

Gon: "See, my dad is a Hunter. So, I'm gonna become a hunter exactly like he is. And then I'll be able to meet him! I know I'll find him someday. But... I feel like if I surrender now, I'm never gonna find him! So, I won't give up." Gon said with determination in his voice.

Hanzo: "Surrender... Or you will die." Hanzo said while pushing his knife against Gon's forehead.

Hanzo: 'So, logic had nothing to do with it.' Hanzo said as he put away his knife.

Hanzo: "Find. You win. I give up, okay?" Hanzo said.

Hanzo: "I'm not allowed to kill you. And I just can't think of another way to force you to surrender. So, I'll take my chances in the next round." Hanzo said, finally throwing in the towel.

Gon: "Well, I can't accept that. No fair! We both have to come up with some way that we can have a proper match" Gon said, pissing off Hanzo.

Hanzo: "Why am I not surprised? YOU JUST SAID THAT YOU WOULD NEVER SURRENDER, SO WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF THE YOU IDIOT?!" Hanzo shouted at Gon.

Gon: "THE POINT IS THAT I DON'T WANT TO WIN LIKE THIS, OKAY?!" Gon shouted back at Hanzo.

Hanzo: "THEN WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST?!" Hanzo shouted at gon.

Gon: "LET'S WORK TOGETHER AND FIGURE IT OUT!" Gon shouted back at Hanzo.

Hanzo: "So, in other words... I've already given up the match, but you want me to continue fighting and try to beat you again right? But first, we have to work together to find a way you can win, so you can feel good about your victory. Is that right?" Hanzo asked in an irritated voice.

Gon: "Yeah!"

Hanzo: "MORON!!!!" Hanzo shouted while punching Gon into the air, knocking him out.

Hanzo: "Hey, referee. I lose, so move on to the next match." Hanzo said, finally shutting Gon up.

Masta: "Understood sir." Masta said, slightly happy that this match finally ended.

Hanzo: "But I'd like to say something first. Whenever he wakes up, he'll probably decline his advancement. And as we've all seen, he can be incredibly stubborn." Hanzo said.

Hanzo: "Only one person fails this round, right? So, if gon is disqualified, wouldn't that render the rest of our upcoming fights completely meaningless?" Hanzo asked.
