《Child Of Infinity (Malereader X HunterHunter) [COMPLETED]》Chimera Ants

We currently see the Chimera Ants talking about a certain missing rare human.
Ant: "A rare? What's that?" The Ant wearing a chef's outfit asked.
Peggy: "I'll explain the details later. Its number is 4-933. It was captured and brought in by Zazan's squad." Peggy said.
Ant: "Number 4-933... Doesn't mean a thing to me. It was probably offered to the Queen. Her appetites been more ravenous lately." The ant said.
Then, he half-assedly looked through the corpses.
Ant: "She's going to give birth to an incredible king." He said.
Ant: "Don't seem 'em. It must already be inside the Queen's belly." The ant said.
Peggy: "Are you sure?" Peggy asked.
Ant: "It isn't here... Where else would it be?" The ant asked whole shrugging.
Peggy: "Could it have escaped?" Peggy asked himself.
Rammot: "Creatures who've been injected by our venom are immobile for over a month... There'd no way it could move in just three days." Rammot retorted.
Peggy: "You can't be sure when it concerns the rares. They aren't like normal humans. You should know that very well." Peggy said.
Rammot: "I'm not the same creature I was before." He said, activating his Nen.
Rammot: "The next time I see them, I'll crush them, rip them apart, and eat them." Rammot said.
Little did the ants know, someone was listening in on their conversation. That person being the rare human, Pokkle.
Pokkle: 'The antidote I hid in my molar came in handy. But I can barely drag myself across the ground. For the time being, I'll have to lay low here." Pokkle thought to himself, hiding under a pile of bones.
Pokkle: 'But what's going on? How can a Chimera Ant use Nen?' Pokkle thought to himself worriedly.
Peggy: "Could you check once more?" Peggy asked, slightly annoying him.
Ant: "Come on, give me a break... I'm busy enough as it is. Didn't you hear me say the Queen has a huge appetite now?" The ant asked annoyed.
Peggy: "I am well aware of that." Peggy said.
Ant: "I don't know anything about all this "rare" stuff, but why are you so obsessed with this human?" The ant asked.
Peggy: "I'd like to ask it a few questions." He said, now looking at Rammot.
Peggy: "Can't you see the light surrounding his body?" Peggy asked.
Ant: "Light? No, I don't see a thing." The ant responded.
Peggy: "I see. Then it's true that only some can identify this power." Peggy said.
Rammot: "Meaning it's a gift." Rammot said while smiling.

Rammot: 'Exactly. This gift is my destiny, bestowed upon me by the heavens. The power of a chosen few... If I master this power, I can become the king! Rammot thought to himself.
Then, One of the royal guards hatched. The moment it touched the ground, Rammot felt a powerful bloodlust coming from it, feeling like Death was staring directly at him.
-Cut back to Kites group-
After showing that The four of you outclassed them, Hagya decided to retreat.
Kite: "He understood that he was outclassed, and he calmy backed down immediately. Most likely, he was a Squadron Leader." Kite guessed.
Leol: 'My fangs and claws... I thought they were the center of the universe... Brandish them... And I could end a creature's life... And satisfy my hunger... There was no greater bliss.' Leol thought to himself.
Leol: 'However, that wasn't the case. There was always someone greater, and I didn't stand at the top of the food chain. I learned this at the cost of my life... But I am stronger now.' Leol thought to himself.
Leol: "We can't win the way we are now. But now we are armed with the ability to learn." Leol said as he walked away, Hina and Flutter behind him.
Kite: "We're following them." Kite said, making Gon and Killua surprised.
Kite: "Their nest must be nearby. If we follow them, we will find the Queen." Kite added.
-Cut to Chimera Ants-
Peggy: "W-What is that?" Peggy asked, shocked at the meanicing presence.
Then, Peggy turned around to see a figure walking toward them.
Rammot: "Something is coming our way..." Rammot said, still not looking behind him.
Then, Rammot finally looked. Only to see a cat-like Chimera ant.
???: "That was an interesting story. You mentioned something about "gifts"?" The figure said.
???: "Can I join you?" The figure asked.
Rammot didn't respond. He just stared on in fear at what he's seeing.
Rammot: 'O-One of the Queen's Elite Royal Guards!' Rammot thought to himself surprised.
Rammot then thinks back to what he said before.
Rammot: 'It was a brief and foolish dream...' Rammot thought to himself, instantly giving up.
The royal guard then began walking forward, making the once confident Rammot bow in submission.
Rammot: 'He's on a whole different level. A predestined status that cannot be altered.' Rammot thought to himself, seeing the royal guard as a god.
The Royal guard then put its hand on Rammot's head. Making Rammot sweat even more.
???: "You can relax." The ant said before walking away.
Pitou: "Let's go talk over there." Pitou said.

Rammot: "Y-Yes, Sir!" Rammot said, following behind.
Rammot: 'My power is not for my benefit. It is for me to be of service To him, and the King he serves! This power is for serving them!' Rammot thought to himself, getting into the Ant mindset.
Pokkle: 'Impossible... What is that ominous aura?' Pokkle thought to himself.
Then, the ant stopped walking, making Rammot stop as well.
Pitou: "By the way..." Pitou started.
Rammot: "Yes?"
Pitou: "Why is a live human underneath those bones?" Pitou asked, looking directly at Pokkle.
Then, everyone looked at the pile of bones. Scaring Pokkle shitless.
-Timeskip-
Pitou: "Hmm... Meow I get it." Pitou said while reading a book.
Peggy: "What are you researching?" Peggy asked.
Pitou: "I'm learning about those rares you mentioned." Pitou answered.
Peggy: "I've attempted to study them many times, but it wasn't written in any books." Peggy said.
Pitou: "Asking one of them is faster than flipping through books. Wasn't that why you were looking for him?" Pitou asked.
Peggy: "Th-Thats exactly right." Peggy answered.
Pitou: "Here we go!" Pitou said, landing on a page with a brain picture on it.
Pitou: "Ah! "New memories are stored in the hippocampus, while old memories are kept in the cerebral cortex. To invoke those memories..." Meow I get it..." Pitou said, closing the book and throwing it at Peggy, making him catch it.
Pitou then got up.
Pitou: "Ah, you... Come over here." Pitou ordered another ant standing by.
Pitou then plucked the weird... Horn things out of the ant's head.
-Timeskip-
While Kites group was running toward the Queen's Nest. Pokkle was spouting everything he knew about nen.
Pokkle: "Hatsu is a technique for manipulating aura at will. To summarize the categories of Nen users... They are: Enhancers, Transmuters, Conjurers, Emitters, Manipulators, and Specialists, for a total of six categories..." Pokkle explained.
Pokkle: "C-Categories..." Pokkle said.
Then, Pitou fiddled with the needles a bit, making Pokkle start talking again.
Pokkle: "Every Nen user belongs to one of these subtypes. You want to increase the amount of your aura, as well as the speed of its flow." Pokkle said.
Pokkle: "Basic training is spent on increasing the amount of aura and quickening its flow. The outcomes of battles using Nen abilities are... swayed greatly by these... These... two skills." Pokkle said.
To learn about Nen, Pitou decided to Lobotomize Pokkle and extract information from him.
Pitou: "Meow I get it..." Pitou said.
Pokkle: "Besides the basics of Nen like Zetsu and Ren... an individual's abilities are deeply influenced by his own idiosyncrasies. If your category and preference are synchronized, your ability had a better chance of being more powerful." Pokkle explained.
Pitou: "And how do you identify which Nen category you belong to?" Pitou asked, fiddling with the needles.
Pokkle: "Water Divination is the simplest and most commonly used method." Pokkle said.
Pitou: "Water Divination?" Pitou asked.
-Timeskip-
We currently see an ant bringing a cup of water on a plate.
The ant then places the cup on a rock and walked away.
Pitou: "Give it a try, Rammot." Pitou ordered.
Rammot: "Right." Rammot said, walking to the cup and placing his hands around it.
Then, Rammot focused his nen, resulting in the water slightly overflowing.
Pitou: "Since the water's overflowing, that makes you an enhancer." Pitou said.
Rammot: "An enhancer?" Rammot asked.
Peggy: "Which confirms that Rammot is a Nen user?" Peggy asked.
Pitou: "Seems so." Pitou answered.
Pitou: "Oh, yeah... Didn't you say you fought a rare?" Pitou asked.
Rammot: "Y-Yes." Rammot said.
Pitou: "The impact from its attack opened your Aura Nodes... And released your aura." Pitou said.
Rammot: "Nodes?" Rammot asked confused.
Pitou: "Apparently they're small holes all over your body. If they're sealed, aura cant be released." Pitou said.
Peggy: "I see... Colt also thought Rammot's change was triggered by his fight with the rares. It seems he was correct." Peggy said.
Peggy: "So if Rammot is a Nen user now, can we use him to open everyone's Nodes?" Peggy asked.
Pitou: "Yeah, sounds good to me!" Pitou said.
Pitou: "I think I'll give this a try too." Pitou said.
Then, Rammot backed off. Letting Pitou do the Water Divination.
Pitou then focused their Nen, making the leaf wither away.
Pitou: "The leaf withered away." Pitou said happily.
Peggy: "Unbelievable. One of us was born possessing Nen ability, without having to fight a rare!' Peggy thought to himself surprised.
Peggy: "Then, Commander, that makes you a specialist, not belonging to another category?" Peggy asked.
Pitou: "Neferpitou." Pitou said, making them confused.
Pitou: "That is the name the Queen gave me. From now on, call me Neferpitou." Pitou ordered.
R/P: "Right!" They said at the same time.
Pitou: "I dont need that anymore. Feed him to the Queen right away." Pitou said, pointing at Pokkle.
P/R: "Right!" They said at the same time again.
Then, Pitou walked off.

Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!
