Leila was sitting in her father's study with all her five brothers. Their faces were unusually serious and she had the tension building up. It could suffocate her.

"Leila, I have something important to tell you." Sebastian began and Leila shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She glanced at Killian and her smiled at her....... It made her a little less queasy.

"You see Leila...... Many people don't like me and they'll try and hurt you. I've decided that you're going to leave us but not now. I'll make sure you're an adult."

Leila was confused. Who wouldn't like her father and why would it cause her to leave?

As if Seth read her mind, he answered her.

"He means you're leaving us but for safety reasons."

"Where to? What if I don't want to go?" Leila's heart was thumping loudly in her chest and tears formed in her eyes.

"You'll be older by then." Killian comforted.

Her eyes watered as she spoke.

Sebastian hated the idea of her leaving. Probably more than she did but he didn't have a choice. They weren't after her now but they would be in the nearest future.

"Leila, Don't make this harder than it already is. I want you to stay here but you really can't and I want you to know now so you can be prepared." Sebastian said.

His voice was in a dismissing tone which left no room for argument.

A tear drop escaped her eye followed by another. It tore Sebastian.

"I shall take my leave now." she said lowly and used her sleeves to wipe her tears.

Lucas wanted to go after her but his brothers had stopped him.

"She should sort herself out on her own." Perez reasoned and they all agreed because it was too much for her.

She had a lot to write in her diary today.

It wasn't good news but atleast it was something to write. A million questions were running in her head like what her dad said about people disliking him and how people wanted to hurt her.

She didn't even know anyone except her family members. She was thankful at least that she had 8 years before she could leave the house.

Later that night, she couldn't sleep. She was rolling and twisting on her bed. Her telescope was sitting right beside her bed but she wasn't in the mood. She laughed on the bed with her eyes open as she watched the sun rise.

I know it's a short chapter

I was just so desperate to finish it.
