Stella's POV. ✨

"Stella, The weasleys owl Pigwidgeon has brought a letter for you! If you dont come get it in the next ten seconds I am going to fly up there myself and dont presume that I am joking,"

"Jeezo you tosspot, I'm coming" I shouted to my brother while rolling out of my comfy bed. I glanced at the clock on my wall to see that it wasnt even eight o'clock. I staggered lightheadedly out of my room and down the spiral wooden stairs that were worn out and scratched.

"Here." Oliver handed me the letter and went off into the back garden to fly around for a while like he does every morning.

I sat down on the couch next to the crackling fireplace and opened the letter.

Dearest Ella,

I hope you and your family are doing well and have had a good holiday since we last saw you. Tell your brother that Fred and I have been practicing quidditch over the holidays and are excited for having a game or two when possible!

Anyway, as you probably know, the quidditch world cup is in two days, which means we will be picking you up tomorrow! (just incase you forgot). So make sure you are packed and ready to go by 2pm sharp and we will meet you at your stinkin' fireplace to take you to the burrow.

I'm sure Oliver packed over a week ago since all he ever does is talk about quidditch, he is a great guy an' all but the fact that he is likely to marry his broom scares me.

"Why do they always have to use up all the veritaserum on Ron. Before I know it, I'm going to have run out because of them," I muttered to myself as I rolled my eyes at the nickname George had given me once again. Was it that difficult to put an S at the start of my name?

I folded up the letter and grabbed an apple from the kitchen counter before running back up to my room to get changed.

I then grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill and decided to write a quick letter back to George so he knew I got his letter.

I then folded the paper into an envelope and handed it over to my owl, Sadie. "To the Burrow." I smiled as I opened the window and watched the Amber coloured owl fly into the distance, until it was out of sight.

After I finished packing, I spent the rest of the day playing quidditch with Oliver. I had never seen him this happy since the day he got a Nimbus 2000 for his birthday. He was ecstatic and spent the whole day flying around the garden doing various tricks. I even heard him sneaking out in the middle of the night just to fly around. The boy isnt right in the head.

The only annoying thing about it was he made me watch him half of the time just to brag about how amazing it was. He was enjoying himself so much he even forgot about his birthday cake! I think Mum and Dad didn't really bother as he was having such a good time playing quiddich with himself. But I was dying for him to just come in so I could have a slice of the delicious red velvet cake I made with Mum the day before.

I snuggled under my covers and tried to fall asleep but it was hopeless, I was too excited to go to the Burrow tomorrow and couldnt wait to see the weasleys again, well, most of them.

For some reason Fred still hasn't really talked to me since he, and George discovered I was dating Patrick Jones, a Dark haired pureblood, captain of the Slytherin quidditch team.

When George started talking to me after about a week , he breifly warned me that Patrick was bad news and will just use me as a toy.

I am still dating him to this very day and havent had any issues with him... Well sure we have a couple disagreements but I don't think anyone needs to hear about that.

Before I knew it, my eyelids were getting heavy and I managed to get to sleep.
