Telling his family.

Shawns pov:

Today was the day we'd announce we were expecting a baby. Camila was nervous about it all but we soon found ourselves in the car on the way to my parents house. When we got there, we went inside and talked with everyone for a bit, catching up with each other. After we ate our amazing dinner that my mum made for us, we all went to watch a film. It was about half way through the film when Camila shot up and ran to the bathroom. I rushed after her knowing it was probably morning sickness. After she was finished, she brushed her teeth and we went back downstairs.

"Guys there's something we need to tell you" I announced

"Is everything okay?" Mum asked.

"Yeah it's great actually. Good news."

"What is it?" Aaliyah asked.

"I'm pregnant" Camila stated, before grabbing my hand.

Everyone stood up immediately and began hugging us and congratulating us.

"How far along are you?" Mum asked

"Around 3 weeks now I think"

"Do you think it's a boy or a girl?"

"I think it'll be a girl but Camila thinks it's gonna be a boy"

"They're gonna be an adorable baby either way." Aaliyah said.

We decided to spend the night there and go home tomorrow morning.

as I laid in bed I couldn't help but realise how amazing the feeling is to know I have a child coming and I'm going to be a father. I couldn't wait to meet my child even if it was a while away.
