Y/n pov:

It had been a year since vecna had been defeated and everything was... Normal. For the first time in what had seemed like forever everything was ok and everyone was happy and relaxed. We decided to throw a sleepover at my place to celebrate a year. El and Mike were together. Lucas and max were together. Nancy and Steve. And lastly, me and Robin. Robin showed up and brought some cake. Steve and Nancy were cuddling on the couch and laughing while mike, el, Dustin, will, max, and Lucas were all talking and el was messing with Steve and nancy. Robin kissed me and leaned in to whisper "let's go to your room to hang out away from the crowd" she held my hand and we went upstairs while tingles went up and down my back from Robin whispering in my ear and her warm breath hitting my neck. I closed the door and laid down next to her on my bed. We looked over at each other and I kissed her. She kissed back and we made out for awhile when el suddenly pushed open the door and looked at us. We were both shocked and I finally said "el wtf!". She looked at me then Robin and ran down stairs. " Robin and y/n were making out! She screamed down stairs as the younger group laughed and the teen/adults were surprised. "El I'm going to kill you one day" I said running behind her. " woah there, no killing today! " Steve stopped me. I stormed back to my room and locked my door this time. "Sorry" I said turning to Robin. "It's ok, we can still talk" she said patting the bed area next to her. While we talked I slipped into another flashback.

I came home from school and dad was sitting there with a belt and Steve was locked in the backyard. Dad stepped toward me and hit me with the belt. I screamed and Steve ran to the glass door demanding he let's me go. Dad hit me again and again then brang my almost lifeless body to the bedroom and started lifting my dress. When he was done I cried and Steve immediately ran to hug me and comfort me when he was let back in. He helped me get to the bathroom and gave me space to get dressed and ready for bed knowing I was uncomfortable after what happened. He put me in bed and fell asleep on the ground next to me in case dad came back.

Reality

I gasped for air while quickly sitting up. "Y/n?! Are you ok? What happened?! " Robin sprang up from the bed and grabbed me to comfort me. "I-i.. Nothing, what happened" I questioned. "You fell asleep when we were talking and cuddling so I let you sleep and then I must have fell asleep,then I heard you gasp and immediately got up" she continued. "Oh ok well I'm going to check on Steve, where is he?" I asked heading for the door. "In the living room. " Robin replied. I walked down to the living room to see everyone asleep but Steve was missing. I started to panic and breath quickly. Luckily Steve was in the kitchen and rushed to help me. " what's wrong y/n? " Steve said holding me tightly. " earlier, I had another flashback but of that night he locked you out" I said starting to cry. Steve held me and we hugged for awhile before he gave me some water and helped me back to my room to go to bed and cuddle Robin more. Her cuddles were the best. She would be big spoon and she would put her hand on my heart saying it was comforting. She was so damn cute when she slept. Like a baby bunny.
