Até a quinta série, eu costumava ter pelo menos um ou dois colegas com quem eu conversava diariamente. Mas então veio a puberdade, a adolescência e bom, aqui estamos. Eu não reclamo de ser sozinho, de não ter amigos e tal. Eu apenas acho que, se as pessoas não querem minha amizade, elas poderiam pelo menos me respeitar, me deixar em paz, ou simplesmente fingir que eu não existo.
Mas o bullying me acompanha desde os meus onze ou doze anos de idade. Eu nunca consegui me acostumar com o bullying, mas também nunca contei para ninguém, nem mesmo para os meus pais. A única pessoa que se importa comigo que realmente sabe o que eu passo é a minha irmã gêmea, Victoria. E mesmo assim, ela só sabe disso porque estuda na mesma escola do que eu e um dia me viu apanhando feio para uns caras atrás da escola.
Victoria é minha melhor amiga. Quando ela soube do que acontecia comigo, ficou furiosa com os caras, queria bater neles, tirar satisfações. Ela chorou quando eu não deixei ela ir atrás deles. Eu a fiz prometer que não contaria nada para ninguém, muito menos aos nossos pais ou à diretora, aquilo tinha que ficar somente entre nós dois.
"Mas você vai sofrer. E eu não suporto te ver sofrer". Eu lembro dela me dizendo isso com os olhos marejando.
Tentei acalmá-la, mas eu mesmo precisava de calma naquele momento.
A relação que eu tenho com a minha irmã é quase perfeita. Ela é como se fosse meu GPS, minha âncora que me traz de volta à realidade quando eu me perco. Com ela eu posso desabafar, chorar, ou simplesmente ficar calado e falar com ela só pelo olhar, pois ela me entende. E, apesar de ela ser infinitamente mais popular do que eu, sinto que eu também sou seu melhor amigo.
