Watching how Holly held onto Nicolas as they went down was a moment that made me feel I wasn't fast enough and laugh all at the same time. I wouldn't trade this for anything right now.

I am essentially holding Holly and Nicolas both in my arms right now just inside her house. I feel complete, it is something I have not felt in such a long time. This is something that I never want to end.

"We brought dinner." I finally speak up after a few moments.

"Take your shoes and coats off, come get comfy." Holly smiles and moves out of my arms and Nicolas lets her go too.

Holly helps Nicolas take off the winter gear and I am done by the time they are. She holds his hand and walks around the corner, while I grab the bags I had put down.

I step around the corner to see a wide open living room and then the dining room attached with the kitchen off the other side. It is a open floor plan which is nice. There is another small hall from the looks off by the dining space.

"So this is the living room as you can tell, I never really understood why the door has a small room of its own like that." She laughs. "Anyways the hall over there is to the bedrooms and then the bathroom is the first door on the right once in the hall."

Holly walks to the kitchen and pulls out plates. Nicolas is following her every move she makes and I can't blame him in the least because I am doing the exact same. We are basically like puppies orbiting around this amazing woman.

"How did you know where I lived?" Holly looks over at me.

I rub my neck after leaving the bags on the counter.

"Jewels. We went to the hospital this morning, she seen us and then came outside to the truck. I told her how we were wanting to see you and she gave me your address then came up with this idea to where you wouldn't know as a surprise."

Holly smiles widely. "That explains her random break that she never asks for better than she gave me."

"Jewels also gave me the number and I have Nicolas's medical care transferred to Dr. Moore."

Holly looks to me and her eyes glisten some.

"I want to ask you something and now I can without worrying if we could cost you the license you have worked to hard to get."

"What's that Jack?" Holly comes over and I wrap her in my arms.

Nicolas bounces on his feet and has his hands together, watching everything with wide eyes.

"Will you go out with me and be my girlfriend?" I smile softly.

"Please Holly!" Nicolas exclaims not being able to contain his excitement, making Holly laugh and her head fall on my chest.

Holly looks back up to me and smiles. "I would love to Jack."

I kiss small pecks all over her face and send her into a giggles fit. Nicolas finally stops watching and laughs as his feet move to the couch.

Letting Holly go finally, I pull the food out of the bag and we get placed on the plates. I had her the open face sandwich just the way she likes it from the restaurant, that she still calls a sub but not one since you can't just pick it up. She walks to the living room and puts the plate on the table in front of the couch just as I hand Nicolas his.

"I got a surprise for you little man." She smiles and flips the tv on and it goes right to a movie from the favorite character of his.

We eat in silence while Nicolas eats and watches tv. I steal many glances to Holly and I catch her looking at me many times too.

After the food is finished I help Holly wash the plates off and she places them in the dishwasher. We walk back to the couch hand in hand and I lean back Holly goes bold and sits in between my legs. Nicolas does not get left out of the cuddle time as he climbs over and snuggles into Holly. She pulls a blanket off the couch and I wrap it around the three of us.

My fingers trail up and down her arm. Nicolas softly snores and Holly looks back to me smiling.

"I guess I better get him home and in bed." I sigh after the movie finishes.

"You don't have too." Holly looks down, after she gently moves him on the couch and stands.

I follow suit and lift her chin up to where I can look at her face more.

"I have two bedrooms. Nicolas could sleep in the spare room I have a large bed in there. You could join him or sleep in my bed with me if you want. I just don't want this night to end after finally getting to experience this outside of the hospital." Holly lets out a slow breath.

I smirk. "We could if you want. I still have a bag in the truck that has our clothes and hygiene items. It was just a thing to fix again after washing our things once back home."

Holly finally looks up to me and there is the happiness back that I want to see. She slowly nods her head.

As fast as I can run to the truck and grab the bag I do. Walking back in the house, Holly locks the door and I put the bag in the spare room she points out to me. Laying out a set of clothes for tonight I carry Nicolas to the spare room and he barely wakes up to get changed. He smiles and yawns when I make sure this is okay with him, which I got a smile and him just laying down in the bed.

I grab my night sweats and change in the bathroom before walking out and finding Holly in a long gown that leaves just about nothing to the imagination as the silk clings to her.

"Oh!" Holly smirks looking at me and eyes roam over my bare torso.

"I, uh." Holly clears her throat. "I don't work tomorrow. The hospital is giving me the day off as a celebration for passing my boards. It is something they do for interns that pass and get hired on with them."

"That is great." I smile and take a step towards her.

"Would you like to sleep in bed with me?" Her eyes find mine.

As if I can resist her with that look.

"I would love too."

Holly walks the rest of the way to me and grabs my hand. Leading me to her bed and pushes me down before her lips find mine.
