"What are we going to do today?" Nicolas asks, after finishing his food.

I look to Jack, because I have nothing planned with being off.

"The only thing I have to do is be at the studio for about an hour for two photo shoots." Jack shrugs.

"Can Holly come with us?" Nicolas looks to Jack.

"That is all up to her. I don't mind." Jack smiles.

"I am in. You both have seen me work so it seems like to fun to see how you do things." I laugh some.

I start cleaning the kitchen and Jack joins me as Nicolas brings us his plate. We get it done quickly, and we all get ready to leave out.

"Are you riding with us Holly?" Nicolas pipes up once I slip my shoes on by the door.

"I can little man, if that is what you both want." I smile.

They both nod and I grab my purse and keys to lock up the house. We walk outside an the cold air always seems to be a smack in the face. Jack takes Nicolas to the truck and I see them move his booster over into the middle seat as I lock up. Jack holds the door for me before he rounds to get in.

"This is a tight squeeze." I laugh some and they join in.

Nicolas turns the radio on and we sing along together until Jack parks the truck at the shop. I may not get to listen to much music but I knew those songs that came on.

Jack unlocks the studio and we walk in. There is a sitting area and then a wide open space then in the back wall all types of things hanging up or standing.

"So you're more than welcome to make yourself comfortable anywhere." Jack smiles.

I go around the desk and take a seat in the back chair with some cushion. Nicolas gets up to the computer and turns it on.

"What are you going to do little man?" I ask watching him.

"Some school work. It helps to pass the time." He smiles and gets to reading.

Jack pulls out props and a sofa onto the floor. I watch him because he waves me off when I stood to help him move the sofa.

"It helps to know the types of pictures customers want ahead of time so I can set up." He explains.

I was in astonishment once they came in and Jack gets to taking pictures. The way he stands sometimes gives me great views of his behind and makes me hold in my groan because I know the muscles that are there. All to which he knows how to work.

The time seems to fly and Jack is on top of everything. He goes between taking photos and looking at a tablet before the customers leave and redoing the props. Tony has been working just off to the side, as they share the space.

"Okay guys, I am done for the day. Would you like to go grab some lunch since I went a little over what I had thought it would take?" Jack asks packing up his camera.

Nicolas nods and turns the computer off.

"Sure." I smile, as Nicolas jumps up and takes my hand.

We go back to the truck and get in. Jack asks where to eat and Nicolas isn't very hungry but agrees to some of the grill nuggets, so he gets those and we get a chicken tender meals each.

With having the food Jack drives and we turn onto the street before mine and then he parks at a small house.

"I hope you don't mind there is just a few things I need to check on inside." Jack rubs his neck.

"I don't mind at all." I smile.

"Yay! I can show you all my toys and stuff." Nicolas pipes up and unbuckles the seat belt.

Jack goes and unlocks the door, while I get out and make sure Nicolas doesn't slip on the asphalt with the black ice. We walk up to the door when Jack rushes back down to make sure we get inside safely, but had to stop just to laugh as Jack grabs the truck bed.

"Hit some of that black ice huh?" I laugh as he regains his footing.

"Yeah sure did." He grunts.

"Isn't that why you tell me not to walk fast when it is cold out like this." Nicolas holds his stomach laughing at his dad.

Jack laughs and walks behind us inside their house.

It is cozy and slightly smaller then mine from the first looks of it. There is still a womans touch here and the wall by the door holds many pictures of Jack and a younger Nicolas with a woman, that I am guessing is Isabel. Nicolas has her eyes.

"That is Isabel." Jack whispers seeing where I was looking.

"She is beautiful." I give him a soft smile.

"Thank you, snowflake. So are you though, you're just as beautiful."

Nicolas pulls my hand, while Jack walks to the table and places the food out.

"I want to show you my room." Nicolas beams.

"Okay but then we have to eat." I smile at him.

Nicolas's room is a nuetral color and not really much of a theme as his furniture is more grown up then most children would have. There is a large toy chest off to the side that is full and then a shelving set up and labeled out on which legos and building things are there.

We walk back out of his room and he points to Jack's room and the bathroom they share since there is only one in the house. Jack is in the living room turning on the tv for Nicolas when we make it back from the little tour.

"I showed her around Daddy, but I didn't take her into your room because that is for you to do." Nicolas grabs his plate and then sits on the floor in front of the tv eating.

Jack grabs my hand and we sit at the table eating our meals.

"So what all do you need to do?" I ask him.

"I had to check the mail and pay off a few bills that are here before they come due." Jack sighs.

"Did you like the little tour?" Jack looks over at me.

"I did. You have a very lovely house Jack." I smile.

"It's smaller than yours but it has been home."

"That is all that matters is that a house is a home and not the size of it all." I rub his hand gently.

"It is home because of Nicolas but there are times I have thought of moving because it holds so many memories that hurts." He sighs some.

I lean over and gently kiss his lips.

"Stay the night with us Holly?" Jack whispers.

"If that is what you want." I whisper back.

Jack nods before his lips capture mine again.
