I walk through my favorite store and go to the mens section first. May be corny but I know Jack has talked about this electric shaver he wants but hasn't spent the money to get it yet, but really it is best to get it and save money on razors.

I walk the aisles a little more and find some of the heat pads that work for your feet in shoes. I throw them in the shopping cart as a funny gift for Jack. That man's feet get ice cold while he has shoes on and then they seem to just stay that way. I also pick up a few frames for him to where he can place any pictures he takes in them to hang on our living room wall that is still bare.

With his gifts in the cart, I walk to the book section and find a few to pick up for Nicolas. He has gotten to where he loves reading some right before he goes to sleep at night.

Now to go over to the toy section. Walking through there I am in wonderland myself as I find so many goodies for Nicolas. They brought out new puzzles to build up along with several kits of legos he doesn't have either. I grab several of the larger size models of realistic cars that he still enjoys messing with.

I walk in the aisles of misalaneuous things and find items for my parents and Jewels. Along with picking up Massie a gift. I look in the cart and go over everything. Everyone has a gift and the two closest to me have several things with Nicolas having a lot.

Nicolas is going to be so spoiled this Christmas, as my parents and Jewels has bought him so much too. We all got together where Jack and I heard what they are getting him and we know that he won't get doubles. Not that I think Nicolas would care but still makes it so much fun.

Eve takes the chance to kick me hard. Showing her displeasure with me not walking. She loves the rocking from when I walk. Gently I rub over where she kicked and start to walk again, pushing the cart with one hand.

The wrapper paper is the last stop to officially make in the store. There are so many options and every year it is fun to change the themes on the paper I pick out. Just for the fun of it I mix match the wrapping paper to make it a colorful floor under the tree.

After checking out, I get back home and it takes many trips to get everything in our bedroom. Not that I am going to tell Jack because he will get into crazy protective, overbearing mode but my back actually hurts a little. It normally happens after being on my feet a lot and that I have today.

It makes my back hurt with work, but I am not giving that up until right when maternity leaves starts right before Christmas Eve. I only start it then because Jack and Massie both said I need to with it being a week before I am induced and Eve could come any time during that time frame. My water breaking at work could scare my patients and I don't want that even though I would be only a floor difference from the labor and delivery.

Before I sit down and wait on the guys to get home, I do hide Jack's gifts in my closet. I can wrap them within a few days time when Jack is not home. Right now, Jack and Nicolas could come home at any time and I don't want to get caught.

I turn the tv on and lay out on the couch, my eyes burn a little and I close them.

A kiss on my temple wakes me from the small nap I was not intending to take. I raise up from the couch and Nicolas is on the floor next to the coffee table eating on a sub, watching television.

"Hey snowflake, we brought home dinner. When you didn't answer your phone I figured you were sleeping." Jack smiles and hands me a sub.

"Thanks." I smile and open it up. "Once I sent you a text I was home and everything inside. I laid here with the tv on and my eyes got to burning. I didn't mean to fall asleep. Sorry I didn't answer the phone call."

"You need to take it easy and deserve a nap." Jack smiles and sits next to me, opening his sub wrapper up.

Nicolas must have turned the Christmas lights on because they glow lightly around us and the main lights are off. Just how I want to spend the evening with my husband and son.

I ask them how work was and Nicolas tells me where he got in schooling. Jack explains his day and how Nicolas helped out with the toddler, which even got Jack more on the order the couple is buying. I laughed so hard about what happened with Tony, no doubt Jewels will get an ear full later on when she is off work.

Nicolas grabs a book from the bookshelf after we clean up the plates used from our dessert since we didn't use any during dinner. So, I know he will be ready for bed soon.

My eyes widen when I realize the book in his hands. "Little man, are you enjoying that book?"

Nicolas looks up from the pages and I can tell he has read some of it before without me realizing it.

"Oh yeah, there is so much in here. You and Dad never told me how serious my cancer was and the anemia I had. But I understand why you didn't because without reading this I would have been scared." Nicolas smirks.

"We didn't want to worry you completely and most time younger people won't understand everything, so we talk it down. You were also borderline comatose in the beginning."

"I still heard pretty much everything which according to this book is rare for people to be in a coma and hear things." Nicolas smiles.

He goes back to reading and my mind is blown that an eight year old is currently reading one of my medical books from the bookshelf.

Jack sits next to me and smiles. "That is so awesome he can read that. He is definitely smarter than I am."

I laugh lightly. "He is a very smart boy to be capable of understanding most of those words. But look over next to him. That is my medical dictionary to where he can look up the words he doesn't know." I smirk.

"May have a little doctor on our hands." Jack chuckles.

"There is many things he has an interest in." I nod.
