The man lead me outside while I was still a crying mess, my face probably covered in mascara.
Sirens were heard in the distance and gradually got closer as they soon pulled up into the huge yard.
The boys immediately ran over to me in panic, seeing how I looked like a mess.
"Selena?! Are you okay?!" Hobi asked me.
I shook my head, "T-Tae is still in there!"
All of their faces grew shocked, panic written on them.
I couldn't take it anymore, my whole body was shaking out of fear and I felt lightheaded.
Jungkook noticed and pulled me into a hug. "It'll be okay." He reassured me.
Firefighters rushed to put the fire out, hosing down the entire mansion.
Namjoon alerted the firefighters that Taehyung was still in there and they immediately rushed into the building in search of him.
I sobbed on Jungkook's shoulder as he hugged me tighter, trying his best to comfort me even though he was scared, too.
"We found him!" One firefighter shouted.
They immediately rushed out of the mansion with Taehyung in their arms.
The people in the ambulance opened the doors and took out a stretcher, immediately lowering him onto it.
They loaded him onto the ambulance and I immediately ran up to them.
"Please, can I come? He's m-my boyfriend!"
They nodded in response and I got onto the ambulance, looking at his body in shock.
He was passed out and they had hooked him up to a breathing machine.
The boys ran up to the ambulance and their facial expressions held so many questions.
"Guys, meet me at the hospital, alright? Here, take my car keys! I know you were dropped off." My voice trembled as I took out my car keys from my purse, handing them to Jin.
They nodded in response and rushed to find my car as I looked back at Taehyung's body.

They shut the door to the ambulance and took off to the hospital.
The lady examined his body, making sure he didn't have any major burns.
Some parts of his clothes were burned and his body felt like fire.
The lady examined his head and suddenly widened her eyes.
"What is it?!" I immediately questioned out of fear.
"Get me bandages immediately!"
I handed her the bandages that sat next to me and she wrapped them around his head.
"He must've fell, get us to the hospital as fast as possible!" She yelled to the driver.
Tears fell down my cheeks as I stared at his lifeless body.
"I'm sorry." I whispered to him, going to hold his hand.
We soon reached the hospital and they rushed him out of the ambulance, taking him inside the hospital as I followed behind.
They took him to a room and told me to wait outside.
I waited outside eagerly, feeling extremely impatient.
I texted the boys in the groupchat where I was and set my phone back down.
A couple minutes later, I saw them rushing down the hall.
"Is he okay?!" Jimin asked worriedly.
"I-I don't know, his head is bleeding and they had to put him on a breathing machine." I stuttered.
Namjoon translated and they stood there with tears in their eyes.
"I'll call his parents." Namjoon spoke, walking away.
I looked down and continued to silently cry.
I felt someone sit beside me and rub my back in a soothing way.
I looked to see Jungkook again and I smiled sadly at him.
The doctor walked out after a while and we looked at him anxiously, awaiting what he was about to say.
"We have both good news and bad news." The doctor spoke.
I nervously awaited what he would say as the others stood there anxiously.
"The good news is that he is okay. We were able to stop the bleeding and get his breathing back to normal." He informed us and we relaxed, feeling at ease.

"But, the bad news is that he appears to be in a coma. It shouldn't be long-term, so no worries. He should wake up in a couple days." He continued.
And there, I felt my heart break again.
The thing with comas... you're never 100% sure when they'll wake up. You can only guess.
And sometimes they even lose their memories.
"C-can we see him?" I asked impatiently.
The doctor nodded and we all rushed into the room to see him.
I looked down at his lifeless body.
I ran my hand softly up the side of his face, tears pooling my eyes.
Jungkook grabbed me a chair and slid it over to me. I thanked him and sat down on it, staring sadly at Taehyung's face.
The doctor explained that they were going to keep him here until he was out of his coma and that we were allowed to visit whenever we wanted to.
I could tell the others were trying their best not to break down right there, but stayed strong.
The doctor soon left and the boys looked at me and Taehyung worriedly, noticing how I didn't say anything.
"Hey Selena, are you okay?" Namjoon asked me, putting his hand on my back.
"I-I'm fine." I stuttered, my voice weak.
He sighed, "Selena, we know you're not. You don't have to pretend to be."
"But what am I supposed to do? This is all my fault." I cried. I tried my best not to break down, but the guilt rushed throughout my body.
"Hey, it's not your fault. You didn't cause the fire." He tried his best to comfort me.
"No, it's not that. When I left to get fresh air, he found me. I let my insecurities get the best of me and I upset him, he left before I could apologize. That's when the fire started. He saved me and got trapped in the fire himself." I admitted, my voice cracking.
"Selena, don't blame yourself for this. It's not your fault. Taehyung wouldn't want you blaming yourself for this, would he? He saved you willingly." He comforted me, rubbing circles on my back.
I sighed and wiped my tears, "I'll stay the night. You guys can leave if you want. Take my car if you need to." I smiled to them, trying to hide the pain I was going through.
"We'll stay a little longer, alright? We don't want to leave you alone." Namjoon spoke as he pat my back.
I nodded and thanked him, looking back at Taehyung's face.
I saw Jungkook's lip trembling and I stood up and walked over to him, giving him a hug.
"It's alright, kook. You can cry." I reassured him.
I felt his tears wet my shoulder as he cried his eyes out. Taehyung is his best friend, of course he's worried.
I could tell the other members were worried, too, I mean why wouldn't they be? Taehyung is very dear to all of them, they couldn't imagine him getting hurt.
But still, I couldn't help but feel this whole thing was my fault. The guilt was eating me alive, but also this huge ton of sadness.
My heart felt heavy and I felt numb. Taehyung is my everything, I've never felt so safe with anyone else.
I missed him already, I was eager to feel his kisses, his hugs, his comforting words.
I'm worried I'll never feel that again from him.
But I will listen to the doctor and wait. I'll stay strong for him.
