《穿成校園文男主的后媽》5

Worthy of being a male protagonist, in terms of appearance, temperament, and height, he is perfectly up to the standard.
Only after knowing his identity, Jiang Jinjin would not regard him as a small carrot head that could feast his eyes. The subtle expression changes on her face naturally did not escape Zhou Yan's eyes. However, in the heart of this male protagonist, the stepmother was far and far away from entering his care list. So far, he has only treated her. Think of it as a stranger to your father's new wife.
The male protagonist also has the power to pull, his eyes passed over her, and the response was flat.
Not to mention calling her aunt, it seemed that she didn't even want to get a look in his eyes.
Jiang Jinjin never seemed to know what embarrassment was.
If it is another stepmother who meets her stepson in public, the stepson sees herself as air, and will be more or less embarrassed, but Jiang Jinjin will not. There is no unnatural expression on her face, so she falls into the eyes of the driver. , Is such a strange and harmonious scene-the stepmother and the stepson met at the fruit shop. The two did not say hello during the whole process. After a short meeting, they did their own things. The stepmother carefully picked durians, and the stepson was choosing fruit baskets.
Driver: ...It turned out to be me who was embarrassed.
After the two had picked their items, they were ready to pay the bill. In the past, there were not many fruit shops, but today there was a small line at the checkout.
Jiang Jinjin and Zhou Yan didn't realize that these businesses were brought by them.
Needless to say, Zhou Yan's appearance is self-explanatory. After all, he is a man who can be a male lead, and is the school grass of countless girls secretly admiring in the school. What's more, when Zhou Yan was born, Zhou Mingfeng's career has gradually been on the right track. In terms of material, he has never treated him badly. Since he was young, he didn't know what it was like to be short of money. A temperament called "don't think I'm handsome, but I'm actually very rich."
This is a handsome, rich and handsome man.
As for Jiang Jinjin, in the past, when we were in a relationship, every time we broke up, regardless of whether it was a high school senior or a social elite, it would have been gloomy for a long time, and these people used all kinds of euphemisms without exception. In addition to her personal aura, her excellent appearance is also an important reason for sending a composite signal. Her skin tone is very white, her facial features are exquisite, and the lighting design of the fruit shop is very scheming, so that the light hits her. It seems that she has brought the soft light filter in the beauty camera.

The door of the fruit shop was open. Some people hadn't planned to buy fruit. They glanced in, and they could not control themselves and stepped into the shop.
Jiang Jinjin came ahead of Zhou Yan.
After the clerk called the durian, he subconsciously looked at Zhou Yan and asked, "Are the two together?"
When Jiang Jinjin and Zhou Yan met just now, the clerk had a full view, thinking that the two people knew each other. Under such circumstances, they might settle the bill together.
Jiang Jinjin didn't have the consciousness to take the initiative to pay the bills as an elder. She said, "It's not together."
Zhou Yan didn't lift his eyelids.
The clerk reported a number awkwardly, and Jiang Jinjin took out the mobile payment code and paid.
The drivers who were watching were stunned.
The durian was big. Although the driver was in shock, he hadn't forgotten what he was going to do and came forward to take the bag.
Jiang Jinjin turned around and was about to walk out of the fruit shop. The driver squeezed a smile at Zhou Yan: "Master, do you need to arrange a car?"
Zhou Yan said faintly, "No."
The driver said cautiously: "Then let's go first."
Zhou Yan didn't bother to reply now.
The driver felt that he didn't read the almanac when he went out today. He was not on duty. He was idle and bored. Seeing his wife was going out, he was so obsessed that he wanted to go out of the car.
Neither Jiang Jinjin nor Zhou Yan took this matter to heart, but the driver had the habit of embarrassing others...
Why didn't Jiang Jinjin actively release a friendly signal to pay for Zhou Yan's fruit basket?
She has no money. Although there are two hundred thousand on the card, everyone knows that if you want two hundred thousand to open a store in Yanjing, it can't be done by simply tightening your belt. The fruit basket is not expensive. She is not stingy, of course, the premise for her to pay the bill is that she has a good relationship with this person. What is the character of the protagonist? After reading the whole novel, can she not know? I'm afraid she offered to pay him, but he didn't necessarily agree to it. Maybe an allegorical saying would still hover over his head-the weasel gave the rooster a New Year's greeting, and he didn't feel at ease.
Jiang Jinjin walked out of the fruit shop without any psychological burden.
After getting in the car, there was silence in the car. The driver took the initiative to break the silence, seeming to remind him inadvertently, "It's not eight o'clock now, ma'am, do you have a place to go?"
Jiang Jinjin turned his head and looked out the window, only to see Zhou Yan coming out of the shop with a fruit basket.

She whispered: "The director said, it seems that someone was in a car accident and went to the hospital."
At that time, the director also told her some details. Most of the **** outside were not very old. The ones who really harassed the female students were the older ones, and the ones who went to the hospital later were just the younger ones. She used to I've heard people say that these little brothers who are behind the gangsters are also candidates for the gangsters. Most of them are very young, some are minors. The older gangsters raise these little brothers. The younger brother came out to top the tank.
It is hard to say whether the person in the hospital today is good or bad in nature, but if Zhou Yan really went to the hospital to visit this person, then it seems that he is exactly the same as described in the novel, with a hard mouth and a soft heart.
Jiang Jinjin shook her head, this was not something she was worried about at all.
She should worry about herself, knowing that no matter how she looks now, she seems to be the poorer one.
Abroad, Zhou Mingfeng, who was busy with official business, received a call from his assistant.
The assistant reported respectfully: "Mr. Zhou, Zhou Yan went to the fruit shop to buy a fruit basket, and he is now on his way to the hospital."
Zhou Mingfeng stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows of the hotel suite. Unlike many men in the industry who were fat and swollen after 30 years of age, God seemed to have a special preference for him. At the age of thirty-nine, his figure was still as tall as a pine and a suit. The leather shoes are lined with wide shoulders and narrow waist. The years naturally left marks on his body. A thirty-nine-year-old man, even though his figure and face can still be comparable to young people, he has been baptized by wind and rain and washed away all his childishness. Like self-confidence or publicity, he has been insulated from him. What can be seen in him is the calmness and elusiveness that has settled down.
"All arrangements have been made?" Zhou Mingfeng's voice was low.
The assistant replied: "Everything has been arranged."
"Oh, I see."
Things are not that simple. Any parent can see through the facts that children of sixteen or seventeen years old cannot see.
Regardless of their nature, at least in such a family environment, they have never seen the dark side of society.
For example, near such an aristocratic school, how could there be gangsters harassing female students? Are those gangsters already so bold? Are they not afraid of students' parents and school leaders, there is no absolute in the world, nor is it that this kind of thing will not happen, but how can they be seen by Zhou Yan just right, if everything is still a coincidence here, then, in How could a reporter arrive so quickly and on time when some parents have never received the news?
Still too young.
Zhou Mingfeng thought of his son's immature face. It might be the case between father and son. The son is also a reflection of his father's past, and his father's words and deeds are also a mirror of his son. When he was sixteen or seventeen years old, he was full of spirits, and he was not afraid of angering horses in fresh clothes. Such boldness and recklessness were something his father had never had before.
It is said that his son is like a father. No matter how he looks at him, Zhou Mingfeng feels that his son is not like him. At least since he can remember, he has never been impulsive or irritable.
Now besides official business, only his son can occupy a lot of Zhou Mingfeng's thoughts. He is still sighing at the different personalities of father and son. The helper on the phone adds: "Zhou, there is one more thing to do. To report to you, Zhou Yan ran into his wife in the fruit shop today."
"My wife went to buy durians and happened to ran into Zhou Yan, but the two did not say hello. Looking at the itinerary, the wife went home after coming out of the fruit shop."
Jiang Jinjin appeared in Zhou Mingfeng's ears too many times today.
More than the number of times in the previous month combined.
Zhou Mingfeng didn't seem to be very interested in this matter either. He pondered for a moment and said, "I see."
After the assistant hung up the phone, he couldn't help but replay the content of the phone conversation, and couldn't help sweating.
Does this count as a complaint? Would Zhou Zong be dissatisfied with his wife's indifference to Zhou Yan?
But God knows he didn't mean that, he just mentioned it in passing, it really didn't mean anything.
If Mr. Zhou is dissatisfied with his wife because of this incident, doesn't it mean that the woman's intuition and mind are very delicate, maybe the wife can detect it in the first time. If the wife goes down again, will he misunderstand him? How to instigate their husband and wife relationship?
He has been really careless recently. The main reason is that when he came to Zhou's family, he has never seen any bosses around Zhou. He has no experience with bosses at all. Should he ask others?
...
Jiang Jinjin didn't know that because of himself, the universal assistant beside Zhou Mingfeng had a rare insomnia.

Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have.
