"Let's go, not now." Su Mingyue denied her proposal without hesitation, and added when her face turned pale, "You have to follow us back to the office and do a registration."
"Do you want to draw blood?" Zhao Xiaokui asked.
Su Mingyue asked back, "How did you get your physical examination during the college entrance examination?"
Zhao Xiaokui was unclear, so, "Huh?"
Su Mingyue explained: "How did you take the physical examination during the college entrance examination, and how did we check it when we registered."
After she said this, she saw the little girl let out a long breath, looking relieved.
She laughed and handed the detector in her hand to Lin Bai, told him to put it away, and patted Zhao Xiaokui on the shoulder by herself, "Okay, since we all ran into it, you can go back to the office with us and register before talking."
Zhao Xiaokui was still a little entangled, "Did you not do your testing?"
Su Mingyue didn’t plan to tell Zhao Xiaokui that the three of them came to squat with her now. She said, “Don’t worry, we have other colleagues around here, and they won’t take you back to register. I'm back, after registering for you, we still have to come over and continue working."
The little girl was relieved now.
The night-holder's car was parked on the other side, and Zhao Xiaokui followed them through the small road between the buildings and walked towards where they parked.
Someone on the road set up a snack stall with wooden boards and benches. There were soda drinks in the wooden frame. The round baskets were a circle of various snacks. There were spicy snacks that children loved, and there were also various desserts.
Several children with fifty cents in their hands were hesitating around the stall.
Gou Rixin took out his trouser pockets. Without taking out the sugar, he walked towards the snack stall and suddenly remembered that Su Mingyue said that when he saw Zhao Xiaokui today, the other party ate a bunch of snacks in front of her and Lin Bai. "Xiao Kui, come and see if there is anything you like to eat, I’ll treat you!"
Zhao Xiaokui leaned in just like a rabbit without saying a word.
"Wow, there is this bangbang chicken. I used to buy it every day when I was in high school, and this... I didn't even see it in the supermarket, I thought it was gone!"
The small stalls sell snacks that Zhao Xiaokui often saw in the canteen when he was in high school.
"Take whatever you want, I'll pay you."
It's nothing very expensive. Gou Rixin took a pack of white rabbit toffee in his hand and said generously.
"No need, thank you Uncle Gou, I have money." Zhao Xiaokui gestured out his cell phone.
Uncle Gou: "..."
The corners of Lin Bai's lips twitched, and Su Mingyue chuckled out mercilessly.
Gou Rixin looked anxious, but he was actually the youngest member of Zhang Hongyi's team, between 20 and 5, but he was early in the army, and the wind and the sun all the year round, so he was relatively old.

Looking at the stalls of snacks, Zhao Xiaokui wanted this and that, but thought that if Shen Zhi had to know what would happen if she knew what would happen if she had eaten this kind of snacks that looked like chemical products, she refrained from packing them all. Impulsively, she just took away everything from her childhood memories, and the boss filled her with a plastic bag that she had used many times.
She took her cell phone and asked, "Boss, where's the QR code for payment?"
"Two-dimensional code? Two-dimensional code is not available." The boss is an elderly skinny old man. Hearing Zhao Xiaokui's question, he shook his head hurriedly, "I only accept cash here."
Zhao Xiaokui took out a mobile phone all over his body, with only one hat. Gou Rixin, who was depressed by the uncle's yelling for a long time, smiled, "I still have to ask Uncle Gou to treat me, right? How much is the boss? I will pay this girl. "
"I have money!" Zhao Xiaokui angrily broke off his mobile phone case from the phone, revealing the 100 yuan inside, and said, "Shen Zhifei gave me cash."
Seeing a red banknote, the boss waved his hand hurriedly, "I can't find it, I can't find it..."
All the snacks and drinks on his stall add up to a hundred dollars.
Gou Rixin laughed, and under Zhao Xiaokui's gloomy expression, he took out his wallet.
The snacks were all packed, and she was embarrassed not to take it, and she really wanted to eat it, so she murmured, "I'll transfer the money to—"
She was halfway talking, suddenly stopped, and raised her head as if listening to something.
Su Mingyue was still watching the excitement of the two, Lin Bai keenly noticed Zhao Xiaokui's abnormality, and slammed Su Mingyue's shoulder with her elbow, motioning her to ask about the situation.
"What's the matter?" she asked.
"Have you heard," Zhao Xiaokui was confused, "a woman is crying and screaming."
She scanned the surroundings and discovered that she and Su Mingyue and her party had unknowingly walked to the downstairs where she found Bai Jingru.
Lin Bai and Gou Rixin looked at each other, holding their breath, and after listening quietly for a while, they said to Su Mingyue: "There is indeed a voice she said, but it is very vague, and the voice is very small. You can hardly hear it if you don't listen carefully. ."
Su Mingyue asked Zhao Xiaokui, "Do you want to see it?"
Zhao Xiaokui hesitated for a while before nodding, "The woman's voice is very painful and desperate."
Lin Bai and Gou Rixin were here today for Zhao Xiaokui. Since she is not a dangerous person, it is not a big deal to follow the little girl.
But Zhao Xiaokui was a little embarrassed, "Am I too troubled?"
"How come?" Su Mingyue smiled mildly, which can give people a kind of peace of mind, "If that woman is really like you said, maybe something bad is going on, we, as police officers, if It's fine if you don't meet it. Since you have encountered it, how can you ignore it?"

When speaking, Su Mingyue was ready to mediate carefully even if he knocked on the door later and encountered a fight between a couple.
At the same time, she gave the little girl a label in her heart-kindness.
Not everyone is willing to be nosy.
Perhaps others will find it a little troublesome, but as a nightwalker who sees too many people in the cold and warm, suddenly seeing a person like Zhao Xiaokui will feel warm in his heart.
It is good to have children in this world.
It was Zhao Xiaokui who heard the voice first, and she was naturally the one who led the way.
Lin Bai and Gou Rixin heard relatively small voices. They thought they would be far away, but Zhao Xiaokui took them directly to the residential building behind the snack stall.
After climbing up several floors, the four men stopped in front of a brand new red security door.
The anti-theft door of this house was newly installed. The paint surface was smooth and the doorknob was shiny. Zhao Xiaokui put his ear on the door, listened for a while, and said, "This is it."
Gou Rixin has rich experience, and said: "Knock on the door first, just say that I'm here to investigate the abnormal situation nearby and see what's going on."
As he said, he was about to knock on the door, and Lin Bai, who habitually looked down at the tablet computer, said hurriedly: "Wait!"
Gou Rixin: "What's wrong?"
Su Mingyue saw his screen first, "Eraser signal?"
Her face changed slightly, and then she grabbed Zhao Xiaokui's hand, left the security door, and stood in the direction of going downstairs.
"Should you call someone?"
Lin Bai looked at Zhao Xiaokui and asked, "Can you hear how many people are there?"
Zhao Xiaokui, with a dazed face, didn't seem to understand why they suddenly became serious, and looked at Su Mingyue asking for help. Su Mingyue patted her hand and said to her, "Don't be afraid, just tell the truth."
"I only heard two people." Zhao Xiaokui said, "a woman, a man, the man is scolding the woman, the scolding is terrible, the woman has been crying and didn't speak..."
Su Mingyue glanced at her two teammates in the field. Knowing that they had made a decision, she leaned to Zhao Xiaokui's ear and whispered to her softly: "Hey, let's go down first, something unexpected happened here."
Zhao Xiaokui bit her lip and nodded, her bright eyes filled with panic, and there was trust in them in panic.
Su Mingyue didn't know what kind of luck Zhao Xiaokui was. She obviously just wanted to stop a domestic violence, so she could find the amnesiac that had been missing for more than half a year.
She took Zhao Xiaokui and walked two floors downstairs, leaning against the wall, hiding in a place where she could hear movement upstairs without being seen from the cracks in the stairs.
"Shhh."
Zhao Xiaokui nodded, indicating that he would be quiet.
Gou Rixin and Lin Bai took out the weapons they carried and held them in their hands. Lin Bai stepped forward and knocked on the door lightly.
"Is anyone here? Someone reported to the neighborhood committee today that someone from your side was throwing trash downstairs, and a valuable item was found in the trash. It should be thrown by mistake. Is it yours?"
"what?"
The security door was opened by a gap, and a man with a sharp-mouthed monkey-gill poked his head out of the gap. He glanced at Lin Bai and then at the tall Go Rixin, with doubts written in his eyes.
Lin Bai asked indifferently: "Did you throw away the garbage?"
The man said: "You talk about what it is first."
"No, you have to say whether you dropped anything first. If you dropped something, I will send it to you." Lin Bai said, "That thing is very valuable, it should be worth hundreds of thousands."
Under Lin Bai's gaze, the man's eyes lit up clearly.
He opened the door a bit bigger, half of them stood by the door, took out the cigarette and handed them to them, and said familiarly: "I did not lose anything, but I'm curious, who is so careless? , Throwing such valuable things in the trash, my buddy, I’ve grown up and haven’t seen anything worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Can you open my eyes?"
Lin Bai shook his head and said, "Since you didn't lose anything, then we'll ask other people. As for what was lost, I can't say what if someone pretends to claim it?"
As he said, he touched his trouser pocket casually.
The man glanced at Gou Rixin, who was at the University of High School of Education, and felt that he understood his identity, and he must be a bodyguard to support the place, lest this seemingly weak student of the neighborhood committee be robbed.
He smiled in his heart, and while the two of them were not paying attention, he put his hand in his pants pocket and touched the long strip inside.
Hundreds of thousands of things...
This is the money sent to you.
He felt a pity if he didn't hurry up.
"By the way, if you know who has lost valuables, you can ask him to come to the neighborhood committee to find us..."
Lin Bai didn't seem to know his plan, and explained it "due diligently".
Just when he was speaking, he moved a step in the direction of the upstairs, as if he was going to go upstairs and then ask other people.
Su Mingyue and Zhao Xiaokui waited quietly. Listening to the conversation above, Su Mingyue patted her cold hand and comforted: "Don't be afraid, it's okay."
Zhao Xiaokui shook his head, his smile looked reluctant.
Su Mingyue sighed, grasped the mobile phone in her hand, ready to call for support at any time.
"boom--"
Accompanied by the violent clash of the iron door hitting the wall, Zhao Xiaokui felt Su Mingyue grasping her hand tightly.
She shook it back, and Su Mingyue, who felt her comfort, gave her a soothing smile.

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan

Star Wars Episode 7: A Corpse Through Which the Force Speaks
The fall of the Empire heralds dark times for humanity. As the New Republic concedes much of the galaxy to alien rule, a group of special forces stormtroopers must find a way to survive the "new normal". This fanfiction sets an alternate course of events in response to general dissatisfaction with the sequel trilogy. In terms of continuity, this story only takes into account the events of the first six movies and Rogue One. Please note: This story comes from the school of thought that the purpose of art is to provoke thought, rather than distract us from reality. I hope that the disturbing parts of this story do just that! This story is COMPLETE.
