Mahir: Sir do you need anything?
Taehyung: No! Just answer my question. How can you call your girlfriend to this party? ( He asked Mahir with a straight face. )
Mahir: (choked on his food) My GIr-girlfriend? Sir, I don't have a girlfriend.
Taehyung: Then who was that girl with whom you're talking earlier?
Mahir: Ooh you are talking about Y/N! She is my best friend. And she came here with her boss.
Taehyung: Ooh I'm sorry I didn't know that.

Taehyung: I saw you guys arguing. Why were you guys arguing before?
Mahir: She wanted to drink some alcohol ( he chuckled)

Mahir: I can't let her drink alcohol she becomes a different person when she gets drunk. Opposite to her sober personality. And it is really hard to control her when she is drunk.

Meanwhile, Milli mixed something in Jungkook's drink. When Jungkook's eyes were searching for Y/N.
Milli: Here is your drink

After having his drink jungkook starts feeling a little dizzy. His head was spinning. Meanwhile, Y/N came out of the washroom and was searching for Jungkook. After searching for 5-10 minutes she saw Jungkook with some girl who was forcing him to go along with him.
Y/N: what is happening there? Why can't Jungkook sir stand properly? ( I went near them )

Taehyung was alone standing near the food counter. Mahir got a call so he left from there. Taehyung eyes suddenly landed on Milli. Who was forcing someone to go along with her.
Taehyung:
This slut is never gonna change. I should help that guy or else this slut will ruin his life till tomorrow morning.

But he heard someone's voice from behind. It was Y/N.
Y/N: Jungkook Sir what happened to you? And who is she?
Jungkook: (In weak voice) Miss Y/N I - I don't know her. Sh- she gave me something to drink and after that, my head started spinning.
Y/N: Who are you Miss? And what are your intentions?
Taehyung: (I interrupted) I saw her forcefully dragging him out of the house. Maybe ( He chuckled while rubbing his temples ) No not maybe she definitely have some evil intentions. This lady is a slut. Just call the police. Why are you wasting your time asking questions?
Y/N: You!!! ( Y/N was surprised to see Taehyung there) What are you doing here?
Taehyung: Forget about me. And take some actions against Miss Milli.
Milli: what are you saying Mr. Taehyung? I didn't do anything. I have some work I will take my leave. And she pushed Jungkook towards Y/N. And left from there.
(Nobody stopped her)
Y/N: Jungkook Sir are you fine? ( She was stumbling because of jungkook's heavyweight)
Jungkook: Mis- Miss Y/N ( weak sleepy voice ) I wan-want to go home.
Y/N: Yes sir, I will take you home. (She was stumbling a lot so Taehyung held Jungkook's hand from another side.)
Taehyung: I will help you to carry him if you want.
Y/N: No Thanks I can manage myself.
Taehyung: Are you sure? I can see that you are stumbling because of his heavyweight. And you are saying you will manage yourself?
Y/N in mind: He is right I should take his help.
Y/N: Okay Fine. Let's go and help me to make him sit in his car.
Taehyung: Hmm.

Author's note (contains minor non-story related spoilers about the MC and setting) This is a progression fantasy with LITRPG elements sprinkled on top. The main character is not a spellsword, but a summoner/support mage hybrid. Since he wasn't ambushed by a random god, there's no cheat item/spell and he has to rely on his skills and wits to survive in a world full of monsters. The story tries to show the moment when the old starts to be replaced by the new, with a healthy dose of magic and a little steampunk in the background. Also, it revolves around a party dynamic akin to RPG sessions. No health/mana bars. Numbers are secondary and the LITRPG elements focus more on classes/spells/runes and their evolutions. Tables are sparse at the beginning, but from chapter 7 onwards they appear more often. Still, I won't be copy-pasting the whole character sheet dozens of times per chapter.
