Y/N's PoV:
I summoned my scythe and lept into the air. I swung it at the man, but he just blocked it with his gigantic sword and we landed back on the ground. I shut my eyes, keeping control of myself. Opening my eyes, I charged behind the man, aiming for the group instead. I let out a yell, slashing my scythe towards them. I was blocked with ease.
"Stand down, Sin!"
A loud voice I had grown familiar with boomed. I looked towards the woods to see....
Gilthunder.
I let out a small growl as he stood with such confidence. The sky began to turn grey with storm clouds. Using as much magic as I could I shielded myself and Gowther in chains before the lightning struck. Lightning hit my shield, shattering my chains completely. I grunted, falling to my knees from the sheer magical power the attack held.
Before I knew it, a sword was heading for my face. I was frozen in shock. A blur of yellow flashed in front of my eyes and the sword was knocked away. I stared at the figure. It was Meliodas?!
"M-Meliodas?!"I exclaimed.
He turned his head, giving me a small smirk.
"Sup!"
"I thought you were going to the festival?"I asked, tilting my head to the side.
He shrugged and grinned at me.
"Thought you might need some help."

Y/N's PoV:
I yawned, stretching my arms outwards. I was sleeping in the bar area of the Boar Hat.
"...Wha?"I looked around.
Meliodas was behind the counter, making a drink. There were multiple empty bottles around him.
"Meliodas?"
He hummed in acknowledgement. I stood up from the table, wobbling over to him. I guess I wasn't fully awake yet, because I tripped over my own feet. I braced for impact, but it never came.
"Are you alright?"He asked.

A blush rose to my face.
"Y-Yes. I'm okay."I said.
There was a glint of something in his emerald eyes. His free-hand stroked my cheek. I backed up, my face red as a tomato. Meliodas backed me up to the wall. I let out a small squeak.
"Y/N...."He mumbled, looking into my eyes.
"M-Meliodas. Are you drunk?"I asked.
He smirked. Not his usual one, this was....different. His hand trailed down my neck, then down my chest. I tilted my head in confusion.
"I want it."
"What? W-Want what?"I stuttered.
"Your heart."
My eyes widened. He....isn't serious, right? His clothes and hair were messy, leaving his neck and collarbone exposed. his face was tinted with a light pink.
"You...."
Why am I so nervous?!
"Y-You already stole it."I whispered.
It was silent. He took my head in his hands, and locked his lips against mine. I quickly returned the kiss. This felt....wrong. I shouldn't be doing this. I hastily pulled away.
"Meliodas....you're drunk. You don't know what your saying."I sighed, shaking my head.
Speaking of my head....It had started to pound.
"But you liked it, didn't you?"
My eyes trailed down to his neck. It was so.....tempting. I need to hold back. Keep it together, Y/N.
"I-I did but...."I trailed off.
"Then there's not a problem."
He moved a strand of H/C hair from my face. The pounding in my head was getting stronger.
"Meliodas. G-Get some sleep, it's late."I said as confidently as I could.
He chuckled, rubbing his hand on the side of his neck, drawing my attention to it.
"Alright. Goodnight~"He smirked, leaving me standing in a trance in the kitchen.
I remembered the pills I had in my room. Those should temporarly calm my hunger down....I walked upstairs and locked my door. Taking my pills out from under my pillow, I open the cap and pour out 3 pills into my hand. I swallowed the pills, feeling instantly better as my hunger calmed itself.

I was sat outside of the tavern with Elizabeth, just chatting about whatever came to mind. I purposely left out what had happened between me and the Captain last night, not wanting to speak about it. I didn't really want to see him at the moment. But of course, life isn't fair.
“Heya Elizabeth, Y/N. What’re you two talking about?”Meliodas asked, shutting the tavern door and plopping down in front of us.
“Nothing, Captain.”
“Captain? Come on, I said you could call me Meliodas.”He chuckled.
I stood up, dusting myself off.
“That won't be necessary. I'll call you what I want to.”I muttered, walking away from the two. I let my body lead me to wherever it wanted to go, causing me to bump into none other than Gowther. Well, disguised Gowther.
“Oh? Hello Y/N.”He said, looking down at me.
“Sorry. Didn't mean to bump into you.”I said, taking a step back and rubbing my arm.
He looked confused,”Why are you crying?”He tilted his head.
I brought my hand up to my face, rubbing away the tears I didn't realize had fallen down my face.
“It's nothing.”
“That was a lie, am I correct? You're upset about what happened between you and the Captain last night.”He stated, looking me in the eyes.
My E/C eyes widened.
“How did you know about that?”
He completely dodged the question,”You should talk to him.”
“I don't need to. I'm fine Gowther.”
He grabbed my wrist, pulling me along back to the tavern. I just sighed and let him drag me. There wasn't a point in resisting, Gowther is right. Bottling up how I feel never ends well with me. I looked to the door, seeing Meliodas with Elizabeth. When I had been dragged all the was in front of him, Gowther struck a pose.
“Special delivery”He said with a wink.
Gowther went into the tavern, just as I saw his hair fade from green to pink. I looked at Meliodas and bit my lip.
“Can I talk to you? Alone?” I asked, glancing at Elizabeth with a pleading expression.
She smiled sweetly at me and got up, heading inside the tavern. Meliodas looked up at me with a grin.
“Sup?”
“I need to ask you something. Why did you do that last night? Why were you toying with me?”
I forced myself to keep calm and not let myself look upset. It was silent as I waited for a response from him.
“Why did you lie to me, Meliodas?”I asked, my voice cracking.
I averted my eyes and looked at the ground nervously. After a few more minutes of silence, he finally responded.
“Who said I was lying?”
“What?”I said in astonishment.
“I want your heart, Y/N.”He repeated the words from last night, standing up, getting up from the ground.
My face heated up,”A-Are you serious? You're not just messing with me right?”
“Dead serious.”
I hid my face in my hands, feeling more blood rush to my cheeks. Suddenly the ground shook and there was a loud crash in the distance. Meliodas removed my hands from my face and placed a kiss on my cheek. Just as the other Sins came to join us (along with Elizabeth), Meliodas pulled away from me with another stupid grin.
“Looks like we've found the festival. Let's go!” Meliodas said, speeding off.
I had a shocked expression as I watched him disappear from his spot next to me.
“Hey! I'm not done with you yet Captain!”I exclaimed, running off after him with a loud laugh as the other Sins soon followed behind.

Gray's Crucible
“The value you have brought to trade is immense, more than a thousand fold what any other traveler to Crucible has ever produced. More than even I produced during my journey.” The old man paused for a moment here, seemingly reluctant to continue. After a few seconds he begins again with weariness creeping into his voice. “As the Messenger of Crucible I have received the value of your life. You shall be awarded a body with potential equaling the value you have brought to this place in accordance with the laws of the higher realms. Now you shall depart for Crucible, but first; I, Jaze, will give you some advice.” The old man, Jaze, he had named himself paused a time. Time enough that Gray began to wonder if he was still present, when he suddenly continued in a low and serious tone, “You will undoubtedly have great potential Gray of Earth, but it is still only potential. What could be is not necessarily what will be. If you step foolishly in my world, if you can not live up to the potential you have bartered for, Crucible will crush you mercilessly and tear away your very soul.” A thought, cheerful and light was heard from Gray before his presence was sent rocketing away like a shooting star. “I’m looking forward to it.”
