The eight year old girl was anxiously waiting for her parents to pick her up after school.
Sitting at the bench as she watched all the other kids walk past happily with their parents or careers, blabbering on about their day excitedly.
Seowoo frowned, her small pink lips pouting as she looked around like a lost puppy.
"Mum..." She trailed off in a small voice, anxious as the area began to clear up, leaving the girl alone.
She stood up from the bench, her black schools shoes which had a butterfly on the strap walked over the fallen autumn leaves, crunching with every step she took.
Her wide eyes looked around frantically, bottom lip quivering.
"Mum...Dad?" She called out in a small voice as she ventured out of the gates and onto the main roads, sticking to the pathway.
Seowoo spotted a figure in a suit, gasping as she ran over.
"Dad!" She exclaimed, running over but stopping as he turned to look at her.
He wasn't her Father, instead he had a large scary scar running from the corner of his lip to his ear- piercing blacked out eyes that stared down at her.
"Oh..." She trailed off, begining to step back as he raised a brow at her with his hands behind his back, watching her intently.
"You must be Seowoo."
"...yes." she nodded and the man's lips curved up into a sinister smile.
"I've been looking everywhere for your parents."
She perked up at the sound of her parents.
"My parents, do you know where they are? I can't find them." She frowned.
"Oh really?" He stepped closer, looming over her. "I'm certain that they'll come looking for you at any cost."
Seowoo wasn't too sure what to say but as the man silently began to walk closer towards her, she couldn't help but feel uncomfortable.

"They'll come look for you and it will lead them right to me." He muttered, chuckling darkly.
The girl turned around, about to walk back to the school she left in case her parents returned.
He took larger strides, his rough hand grabbing her thin arm tight which elicited a yelp of pain from her.
"Ouch, what are you doing?" She spoke in pain.
He didn't say anything, forcefully pulling her towards his car as she began to panic.
She thrashed, attempting to escape from his grip but he was too strong, picking her up and harshly throwing her in the trunk of his car- quickly shutting it.
The girl was encased in darkness before she could even yell out.

He was stood there, looming over with the same smile curved on his lips- scar running down his face which caused Seowoo to remember the memories she unconsciously pushed away.
She remembered being kidnapped by him, taken to his house where she was a hostage in his basement.
A terrified eight year old girl who cried helplessly for her parents for three nights in a row.
Because of him, she had nightmares every night as a child and hadn't had once since she turned a teenager but seeing him brought everything back.
Chenle narrowed his eyes, stepping in front of an overwhelmed and shocked Seowoo.
"What are you doing here?"
"What do you mean Son, this is my secondary investment."
"So you were behind all this shit?" Chenle scoffed. "I'm not even surprised."
His father shrugged.
"I got a lot of money out of it, shame her Brother had to die because of it. Anyway, it's nice to see how much you've grown too." He tilted his head to look at Seowoo from behind Chenle. "You were such a shy terrified girl, looks as if you've grown a backbone."

"Don't talk to her." Chenle demanded, fire fuelling his rage, staring at his Dad who chuckled in response.
"I see you've become fond of her."
Chenle said nothing as his Dad tutted.
"I thought you were smart enough to listen to when I told you love makes you weak."
"Love makes you weak not me." Chenle stated, standing up straighter. "You don't own me, you don't get to tell me what to do anymore. I made that clear when I left."
"Worthless excuse of a son." He spat out in disgust. "You let a bitch ruin you. How many times do I need to teach you to not be weak!" He yelled out.
Chenle's fists clenched tight as his Father spoke.
"I will kill her, I will murder her exactly like I did with that peasant nurse."
His Father lowered his head so he was level with a furious Chenle.
"Maybe I won't kill the little whore, maybe I'll keep her to myself-"
The vein in Chenle's neck bulged as he didn't once hesitate when he launched his fist in his Father's face.
"Don't you fucking talk about her like that, if you ever lay your hands on her I will ruin your life." Chenle seethed out his Dad stumbled back into balance.
"Just like I ruined yours?" His dad mocked. "Look at you so angry, you are only the person you are because of me."
"I'm nothing like you, I'm not the low life scum you are.
You aren't capable of feeling anything other than anger, you aren't capable of loving anyone like I can and that's makes me a whole lot stronger than you."
"Don't you fucking walk away!" His Dad screamed. "I will kill everyone around you."
Chenle stopped by the door, Seowoo's hand clutching his arm to stop him. He turned his head so the side of his face was shown with a villainous smirk.
"I think you're forgetting you conditioned me to be a monster when I want to Father, you created your own destruction."
