"Baby" came the annoying voice I had ever heard..

"I am busy Veronica, What are you doing in my office this early?" I questioned internally groaning.

"I just wanted to give you a nice surprise by showing up" she said while sitting on my lap putting arms around my neck.

She is taking too much Liberty.

I distangled her arms from around me and pushed her up from my lap.

Standing myself at the corner by the glass window facing outside at the busy streets, hands in my pocket, I still kept my patience "I am busy right now, and not interested in it, could you please escort yourself out"

"But baby I came for you, you know to make you relax, and then we can go shopping for wedding together, I want a grand destination wedding, great ambience, food and decor, everything exotic all in all. I want everyone to remember that its Veronica Martin's wedding. We should go out together more in public, you know to make our wedding headline everywhere" she said seductively putting hand on my shoulder.

" No Veronica, can't you see I am busy right now, and according to the contract there is still time to release this news, now will you get out or I will have to call security for showing you out" I snapped with my back still towards her to not show my emotions.

"What? You will make security kick me out, I am going to be your wife soon, I have every right on you and your things. I can come here whenever I want" she screeched.

Thats it. This mad woman is riling me up first thing in the morning..

I can't tolerate her. How am I going to put up with her my whole life...

I called security of the building to come up to my floor..

Soon they were in front of me alert looking for any source of danger..

I asked them to escort Veronica out of my premises now.

She started yelling at me.

"I will tell dad, how you treated me, you did this to me. Your dad will not be happy with you...." I tuned her out and turned my back to her while guards did their duty.

"Fucking hell.. daddy's spoiled brat.. "

I called Delilah to adjust my meetings and immediately started with the first one due to waste of time already.

First meeting was with Mr Henry Black. He is a family man in his mid forties. I deal with him about our next shipments of good and signed the contract with him. We shook hands and he exited my cabin with my PA.

Suddenly My father came barging in, with authority like he owns the place. Well he owned but not now. Now I am the one who rules here. He made himself comfortable on the couch in my office and motioned me to sit in front of him. I was blazing with anger inside. First that Veronica and now him - The great busy man Mr Logan McCarthy , I Didn't know what was he doing here, when he did not even care about me.

I was sure he must have selfish purpose to visit me. I sat in front of him pursuing my lips in a firm line.

"How could you do this Hayden?" he asked without even an ounce of shame for not asking about his son's well being first.

See.. so much for being a father. What a great way of greeting..

"What" I questioned curtly ready to wrap it as soon as possible.

"I am talking about your behaviour with Veronica . How could you throw her out like this . Her father was not happy. You know we had a deal with them. I don't want any loss in business. Its beneficial, so just bare with her"

By now, my temple nerve was ticking. Ofcourse that rich spoiled brat would go to her daddy complaining like kids.

And here my father is just worrying about his money.

" I was busy preparing for meeting when she had come and was not budging. Also I would not need your advices on how to handle a woman- especially you. " I hit the nerve because now he was furious too.

But I am not backing down this time like always when mother and Sean would tell me to.

"Watch your tongue Hayden, I am your father" he yelled

"Yes just father- a sperm donor, not dad" I snapped annoyed.

"Hayden" he warned

"Don't Hayden me, I am not backing off, I will talk to her father , you won't lose your precious money, Now if you will excuse me, I have a meeting, you can go" I dismissed Him turning my back to him indicating its the end of discussion from my side.

The door to my office slammed confirming he got out. I started pacing near window. That rich entitled brat is getting on my nerves day by day. If this continued, I would have to reconsider my decision of marriage. I can't have a day of peace without her messing it up.

A throat clearing sound broke my chain of thoughts. I lifted my eyes up to see Ms. Kingsley standing near the door.

I didn't know what she had heard but by the looks of her standing there awkwardly , I could tell she had definitely listened some of the things if not full conversation. Great just great.....
