General pov:

When woken up Elena asked with half eyes open "Where am I?"

Hayden curtly replied "In David's mansion - your friend"

Hearing Hayden she got alert and asked mindlessly "Wait, then what are you doing here?" irritating him further...

"Elena, not now..lets just get out of here" he replied spitting one word at a time which didn't go unnoticed by Elena. She wordlessly stood up with him to follow while Hayden grudgingly shook David's hand and without thanking him gave a curt nod. On seeing Elena, David beamed and hugged the life out of her asking about her health. She replied she was fine, assured him and thanked him despite Hayden's sour expressions and cold attitude towards David. They moved out of the house and she noticed Michael was in driver's seat. They got into it and Hayden instructed him to his condo with clenched jaw ignoring Elena. She peeked a look at him like a child but looked another way when he annoyingly turned his face to her. Slowly turning again to face him, she tried to talk to him holding his hand this time calling "Hayden" when he turned towards her with a glare but soften up seeing her unshed tears. He asked Michael to put the divider down and hugged her while she started full on sobbing recalling that horrible scene. He consoled her in best possible way he knew which was not so much. After some time wiping her tears, she said 'sorry' and tried to give him a smile to relieve him but it looked like a grimace.

"Are you okay now?" He asked worriedly to which she nodded and squeezed his hand. On asking what happened, she narrated the whole fiasco with a media and was about to tell him about David when he cut her off in between and asked "Then why didn't you call me and instead that David??"

Knowing he was still bitter about it she explained it to him how she was stunned and caught by surprise on finding media outside and how David came as her saviour in need when she was not even aware about her surroundings and how he helped her. He somehow left that topic on Elena's explanation and was grateful to David inside his head for looking after Elena which he would never have admitted openly in front of him. Michael informed them that they have reached and bidding bye mainly Elena with Hayden giving a nod, they moved inside..

Martha welcomed them into home and left them on their own for some privacy...

He asked her to inform her sister about her whereabouts and that she was staying at Hayden's place to which her eyes widened..she tried to reason the possibility of her not staying good but one blank expression from him and she dialled her sister making cute faces of imitating him...

After explaining her the situation she realised Hayden was not behind her..

Fearing his reaction, she came inside his room to find that stubborn man of hers was sleeping like a baby..

Not knowing what to do and where to go, she heaved a long sigh and got herself in the bed to rest too although chasing sleep was tough task for her as she was well rested and has lot of chaos in mind..

Finally deciding to get up, she wandered into the kitchen and saw Martha working there, greeting her warmly she insisted and helped her in making some delicious food for herself and Hayden to divert her mind. An hour or two passed with them chatting away, Elena talking about herself and listening to some tell tales of Hayden from Martha when Hayden came in a hurry with small yet visible frown marring his face startling both of them thinking Elena returned home against his wishes..

He held her hand and took her from there making an excuse to Martha for both of them..on reaching inside some random room, he relaxed his body posture and took her in a bear hug surprising her despite which Elena became happy and curved her arms around him. Detaching from hug, he spoke the words which relieved Elena immensely.

"Are you okay?" to which she nodded with a beaming smile "but mind you beware of media because now you are related to me and always, I mean it always call me whenever you need someone or some help..

To which Elena has just opened her mouth to reply but he again cut her off saying " I know, I know, it was by chance that 'Your Friend' David was there but now onwards I should know about your every problem infact I was thinking to hire security men for you"

"Hayden please no, security and all seriously?? I will be going mad with constant following of someone" Elena whined..

"Please, I will take care and always inform you if need help, please Hayden" she added with an extra innocent face to add more effect to it..

"Fiinnee" he dragged it finally conceding to her to which she gave a dazzling smile and hugged him tight again as a gesture of thank you..

They remained like that for some time which was broken by embarrassing grumbling sounds her stomach made, making them come out of hug and Hayden saying "lets go, feed you first" kissing her temple, taking her with him to kitchen hand in hand where Martha exited the kitchen to give them privacy and enjoy the time together after serving them..
