《Just go with it | Falice fanfiction》Chapter three

FP had gotten invited to a party that night and decided to bring Ben along with him. The host was a client of his, but he stopped treating him with Botox when it got too dangerous.
They walk through the mansion doors to be greeted by the man who's face was completely frozen from all the Botox.
"Hey Garry!" Fp chirps extending his hand out for a friendly handshake.
"FP! I'm so glad you could make it." Garry pulls him into a quick side hug.
"Did you bring any Botox with ya?" He asks with a smirk FP couldn't quite see.
"I didn't bring the Botox with me, but I brought my cousin Ben." FP responds pointing to his cousin who looked horrified at the sight of the man.
"Is this a Halloween party?" He asks turning his head to his cousin who gives him a death stare.
"Are you kidding me right now" he says under his breath. "You got a little more work done?" He returns his attention to Garry.
"Oh just a little bit, just little tweaks." He responds, barely audible since he can't really move his mouth.
"You really gotta stop though man, do you have any feeling in your face?" He asks with a slight smile.
Before Garry could respond, a woman came rushing over looking for help.
"Garry! Archie cut open his knee, I don't know what to do." She explains.
"Well what do you expect me to do?" Garry responds with a chuckle earning a glare from the woman.
"You know what I could stitch him up. Ben, go get my bag for me." FP chimes in.
Ben rushes to the car to grab FP's medical bag and quickly made his way back to the house to give it to FP who was now in the bathroom with Archie.
"Thanks Ben." He says grabbing the bag from him.
"No problem buddy!" Ben cheekily responds before leaving the two.

"So you fell down the stairs?" He asks as he starts to wash his hands.
"Yeah..." Archie replies almost completely out of it.
"Well, did you trip over something? Was there a skateboard there, or?" He asks again, taking off his wedding ring and placing it in his pocket.
"No, I was just distracted by something." The boy responds still staring out into space.
"Was this distraction a girl?" He asks him finally snapping him out of his daze.
"It was a girl." Archie responds with a grin.
"Okay, don't think about this." FP says kneeling down to the boys knee, sticking a needle by the cut to numb it.
"Ouch!!" Archie exclaims which earns a small slap in the face from FP. "Ouch!!!!" He says again.
"Hey, I said don't think about it." FP finishes up and walks back to out the needle in his bag.
"Blonde? Brunette? Redhead?"
"Brunette, tan, tall, rocking body, nipples..." the boy goes on about the woman.
"Want me to numb something else for you? You're getting a little nutty over there." FP responds with a chuckle and the boy shakes his head.
FP stitches the cut on his leg back together and he's good as new. He walks back out to the party with the biggest grin as everyone claps and cheers seeing him all better.
FP comes out behind him a few minutes after, and that's when he sees her. The woman Archie was talking about. A beautiful brunette with a black dress that hugged her curves perfectly. A low v-neck was also included.
FP couldn't help but stare at the beautiful woman as she walked towards him, almost as if it was all happening in slow motion.
"Good job doctor, that was really nice." The woman says once she reaches him, giving him a smile.
"The distraction I'm guessing." FP responds pointing a finger at her.
Her eyebrows crinkle in confusion. "The what?"

"The boy was distracted, that's why he fell."
"So I'm taking the blame for this?" She challenges him crossing her arms.
"Yes, your hotness basically pushed him down the stairs." He responds causing her to laugh.
"Wanna go enjoy the party with me?" She asks him and he nods.
They spend the night talking and laughing. She even tried to guess which patients FP had performed playing surgery on which was a fun little game.
They ended up down by the beach where they decided they wanted to walk for awhile. Just the two of them.
"So Gladys, how long have you lived here in Riverdale?" He asks her.
"I've been here almost two years." She smiles.
"Uh huh, well that's a lot of auditioning for you."
"You think I'm an actress?"
"I guarantee you're an actress." He responds hoping he's right.
"Well guess again doc, I teach grade six math." Gladys says with a smirk.
"Well I wasn't expecting that." He chuckled.
They stop for a moment just taking in the beauty of the beach at night. They turn to face eachother, faces lighting up when they do.
"I've never hung out with a girl your age, this is nice." He says lowly causing her to roll her eyes.
"Oh no, your first lie to me." She responds with a sigh.
"You're good... alright, I've never hung out with a girl your age before and connected the way we are right now." He smiles and she returns one.
Gladys was quite a bit younger than him.. but it didn't matter.
They both slowly lean in to connect their lips. It turns passionate quickly and before they know it, they're naked together on the beach.

The next morning, the two of them woke up side by side on the beach. After sleeping together, they didn't want to leave eachother, so they decided to just stay at the beach.
"Last night was amazing." FP states staring at her dreamily.
"Yeah, this feels like it could be a real thing." She bites her lip.
"It's a thing alright."
"Well I have to get to work, but how about I take your number and you can take me out on a proper date next time?" She suggests with a quirk of her eyebrow.
"I got a business card in my pocket if you wanna get that." He smiles and she chuckles getting up to go grab it.
"I'd get it myself but I don't want you to see me naked in the daylight, it could be a deal breaker." He says turning on his side to watch her and she let out a giggle.
She's reaching in his pocket when she feels something odd. She pulls it out to reveal a wedding ring.
"FP, what the hell is this?" She furiously asks and his face immediately drops.
"Uhh, a circle."
"A wedding ring? You're married?" She exclaims.
"No no no no, I'm not , I'm not married! That's not mine." He quickly says getting up from the sand.
"Who's wedding ring is in YOUR pants FP?" She asks again. He could practically see the fume coming out of her ears.
"Give me a minute to explain this..." he says and she nods.
"Okay... it's going to take more than a minute."
She growls and throws the ring at him.
"I'm so stupid! Please, don't call me." She angrily says before grabbing her shoes and walking away.
"Gladys, please. No no no." He yells after her, but it's no use.
"Shit." He says to himself kicking the sand.

NOVA INTERIT.US
It's 2063, and the town along with much of the nation are in disarray. The decay started years before the Great Event. Our town still had hope thanks to the five families, who'd created a blockchain based water distribution system for the locals, a valuable secret hidden from the Global Water Commission and their network of mercenaries. Earlier in the mid-2040's, right after the state secessions of Idaho, Montana, and Texas, the Global Council of Water Commissioners made their deals and moved into towns throughout the country. They called it "the integration." The Commission and their contractors integrated with municipal water departments, using their organized network to invade like parasites on local services. It all coincided with the 29th Amendment to the United States Constitution, later referred to as the Regional Trident Plan. Nova is a story about survival, power structures, the turning of relationships, and the networking between people and the systems to which they belong. It’s about A.I. blockchain possibility, and its potential for human betterment versus our detriment. It’s about the question of whether or not we need to be saved from ourselves, and by who or what? The Great Event at the end of the first chapter might just be what actually saves us. The epilogue will take place in 2517. This scene is fully sketched and the full arc of the novel is set. I expect to finish Nova Interitus by summer of 2023. This is realist hard-sci-fi dystopian fiction. I hope you find Nova to be a challenging and consuming story. This is not something I planned to write. It all came to me in a dream and I haven't been able to stop writing it. This Royal Road posting is basically a beta test with chapters and drafts to get some feedback and see if there's any readership for this narrative. For the full experience read Nova on Substack. I will be narrating a podcast version later this year there. https://novainteritus.substack.com/

Mortis Operandi 1- New Hire
Thank you for reading, I have to start with that. The feedback and encouragement from RoyalRoad users helped me finish my book. I left the unedited version up as I worked on editing and making it a little more polished. However the time has come for me to put it on Amazon and hopefully let other people read the story. If you have Kindle unlimited you should be able to read the story there. If you just want to order an ebook version you can do that as well. I should have a paperback version coming up. https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B07T46B4NM Again thank you for reading and helping me on this journey. It hasn't ended however, my second book which I'm hoping to do well enough that reading the first isn't completely necessary, is still being worked on here, https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/24562/mortis-operandi-2--terms-and-conditions . Any feedback, comments, even critism is welcome as I work on giving you the best version of my story. I'll leave the first two chapters up here, unless Amazon says otherwise. There should be enough differences to avoid issues though. THANK YOU! Thank you! thank you! __________________________________ Adventurers enter dungeons every day. When you are trying to study ancient lore or plan on conquering a kingdom, you don't want to worry about all that. You just want peace. Mortis Operandi is a different kind of company.
