A lot of jhaaps about to come my way, but I'm sorry guys. I really wanted to give Changed an ending, but I just have no inspiration for it. To be perfectly honest I was a fan of original RiKara and redux never did it for me, but they were acting out of character before that. I can't honestly call myself a fan anymore and I've lost sight of those two characters because they were polluted by glorification of toxicity. Every time I try to write I begin trolling the whole show and I hate that. I wish I could move past it but I can't. So a final farewell to the ship that first inspired me to write, and my very first fanfiction Changed. It's been a painful but inspiring journey as a RiKara fan, but all things must end, good or bad. Sincere apology to those who have waited for updates, it's just not right. If I write it will just be venom. Because honestly I've forgotten the feels RiKara used to give. Yes I could go back and watch DBO again in an effort to forget bakwaasbaaaz, but that's a downwards spiral I don't wish to endure again, because it will be painful all over again. Wasted potential is what we got, with glimmers of nuance but quality will always beat quantity. Thanks to ShreNal and Atif Sir for bringing them to life. Thanks to those who conceived beautiful characters despite failing to see it through. Most importantly thanks to the RiKara fandom. I think together we could complete a 'how to' guide on patience and using humour and wit to battle ignorance. You guys are all great. Let's meet again somewhere less toxic.

P.S. Here's how I pictured the rest of the story to go:

. Orphanage found married couple who wants a baby

. Orphanage decides to remove Aadhya from Gauri's care as she is single mother

. Omkara steps in as they never legally divorced - but did they ever legally wed

. Gauri agrees to marry him again for Aadhya

. Oberoi's arrive with Riddhima

. Omkara tells off his psycho family and clingy ex, who blame Gauri etc and Rudy has his moment

. Dadi is reminded that she has three grandsons and one granddaughter, not one cat.

. Gauri slowly falls for Omkara (for real this time, not devotion) during arriage prep

. During preparations Omkara overhears Pinki and realises she triggered Gauri leaving him + all the times she used to harass Gauri that never got dealt with in the show

. Pinki's reality and hypocrisy is put before her

. Rikara conversation about past and wedding.

. Happily ever after (in Kashmir, while majority of Obrois crawl back to where they come from)

. Of course Rudy and Aadu moments throughout all this.
