《Sandboy》Adrien's point of view

I stood and watched as my best friend ran off into the rain all alone. I want to go help her, but Paris is in a dire need of attention and Ladybug hasn't showed up yet.
"Plagg." As I say this, he flies out from my jacket and devours a piece of camembert.
"Why don't we just stay here and enjoy all this glorious cheese?"
"Plagg, you only think with your stomach." I smile in his direction. "Come on, Marinette needs our help. Plagg claws out!"
Torrential downpour, great. This will make saving Paris easier; can't Hawkmoth take a break when the weathers bad?
I couldn't see a thing as I ran across the rooftops of Paris, and my voice got drowned out by the thunder. The streets were empty but the air was filled with the screams of the Parisians. Ladybug where are you?
"Hey m'lady, haven't seen you around and can't really fight this alone. In the rain. So, when you get this, please call me back."
Looks like I'll be going solo. Hey, on the bright side, the rain stopped.
After a quick break I'm back to running, following the path of nightmares Sandboy has left for us. Man, I thought my nightmare was weird, but no. These Parisians nightmares are just flat out strange. Gosh how I love Paris.
I finally catch up to Sandboy, but just at that moment I spot Jagged Stone cornered by his...crocodile?
"Fang, we can talk this out. No need to be so hasty." He says backing into a corner. I better go save him before he becomes crocodile food.
I save him just in time, but no one could save me. I got showered with some nightmare dust. Wonderful. I'm about to be hunted by evil bug-a-boo.

"There you are, you mangy chat." She stood there, her dark outfit blending with the night sky. "Oh, how I've always wanted to get rid of you!"
I roll my eyes, here we go again. She calls her anti charm and off we go fighting. Now would be a perfect time for Ladybug to make her last-minute rescues.
"Why would you want to get rid of me?" I ask all innocent. "I'm a joy to have, just as M'lady." And with a theatrical bow I lead her into a pit of concrete.
"Honestly, it's been a pleasure fighting you, but I really must be off. And to make sure you don't escape..." I cataclysm a building and the rubble fell on her.
Before I leave, I try calling Ladybug again, and this time she answers. At first, she didn't say anything, all you could hear was her breath hard and heavy.
"We can talk this out," she yelled, "please, just stop." She started crying
"M'lady?, where are you?" I ask. She didn't answer, so I track her down. The Louvre? Should be an easy trip. Or not. It starts to rain.
My mind races with questions as I desperately run to her aid. Who is she fighting? Why was she crying? But my train of thought was interrupted when I got blasted by the Sandboy. Ugh, now is not the time. I turn around and standing right behind me is evil bug-a-boo.
I run at her and our weapons clash creating sparks that died in the rain. She aims for my head but I duck and she misses. I grab her arm and have her trapped. "Cataclysm!" and just like that my nightmare is over, but Ladybug's isn't. The Louvre isn't far away and I was about to head over there when Ladybug lands at my feet. Bruised and gasping for air. Her tear-stained face was twisted with agony as she tried to stand. I offer my hand but she grabs my neck.

"Chat, you came." I sigh with relief, she's safe, for now. I grab her and take her far away. She's in no shape to fight Sandboy, but during our fleeing Ladybug's nightmare catches up with us. I turn around but I'm met with a flash of white and my vision gets blurred. I fall to the floor and it delivers a kick to my ribs and a punch to my face, then proceeds to walks away. I look up expecting to see something wild but what I see is me. Ladybug is fighting me! The rain washed the blood away, and I was able to see more clearly. There was Ladybug scrambling backwards as angelic white me walks after her. I need to help her, but I don't have much time left before I transform back.
"I'm sorry m'lady, I have to go," I say. My heart broke at the sight of her face. Fear and betrayal, hurt and anger. I can't leave her like this, I just can't. I stand up and walk over to whatever it is we're fighting.
"Honestly, Ladybug, you really shouldn't start a fight without me." I knock him to the floor, giving Ladybug time to escape, sending me to what might be my downfall

Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story.
