《Sandboy》Adrien's point of view

I cry as Ladybug leaves. The pain has become so unbearable, I can barely breathe and with every cough I end up choking on my own blood.
"No, m'lady," I say weakly. What's the point? She can't hear me. "Please don't leave."
I sit and struggle. The rain starts again and the air gets cold. I shiver and choke. I try to move but can't.
I look over and see Chat Blanc making his way towards Ladybug, but my voice is weak and gets drowned out by the wind. I brace myself for the pain that's about to come when I stand up.
"Ladybug!" I yell. She still can't hear me. I hobble over, hugging my chest with one arm and using my stick with the other. I stumble, fall, and get back up. By the time I reach them, Chat Blanc is about to cataclysm Ladybug. I pick up the pace and jump in front of her just in time. At that same moment they defeat Sandboy and he disappears.
I fall to the ground and start shaking. The world turned cold and my vision blurred. I feel somebody grab me and hold me close to them. I look up and it's a blob of red and black. Ladybug. She rocks back and forth, her arms disappearing under me. I think she's trying to tell me something. I can't hear what she says, sincenit's just a loud ringing in my ear. I'm met by two more blobs, Rena Rouge and Carapace. I stop shaking and everything goes numb. Ladybug lays me down, strokes my hair back and kisses the top of my head before she leaves. Her time must be up.
My breath quickens and my vision blurs as I drift off to sleep. Or maybe it's from shock; I'm not sure. I wake up in a beautiful world. The sun shines through the clouds illuminating the purple mountains I saw in America. My mom stands there, open armed and waiting for me. We walk through a mystical forest where the sky is the sea and you see the fish swim, the kelp and seaweed turn into weeping willows whose branches blow in the breeze, entangling you in their gentle hugs. Fireflies fly everywhere, leaving behind a trail of sparkles, shining softly as the setting sun hits them. The song birds sang their songs as day turned to dusk.

I run to get to the edge of the forest where I'm met again by my mom and father at the edge of a crystal-clear lake. Together, hand in hand, we jump in, and the water turns to sky and now we're standing on clouds. I turn around but my parents aren't there. Instead, I'm met with Ladybugs. In the distance there is the silhouette of a person. I can't tell who so I run after them. They reach their hand out and pull me along.
The clouds turn to sand and I'm standing alone on a beach, and now the sun is rising. I sit down and watch, dolphins jumping in their pods and seagulls call to their loved ones. After watching some time, I stood up and walked along the edge, allowing the waves to lick my feet. I shove my hands in my pocket and smile as the sun's rays warm my body. There is a hand on my shoulder. I turn around but there's nobody. The beach turns to my bedroom, where my father sits on the edge of my bed staring out of the window at nothing.
"Mr. Agreste," Natalie comes in and tried to keep her stern posture but it's obvious she's in pain, "it's time."
My father stands up and lays a rose on a photo of me. My father, a man of little emotions, was crying.
"Father!" I yelled and waved to him but he heard and saw nothing. I stared in awe as he walked right through me. I desperately followed him down the stairs and to the front room where everyone from school sat, dressed in black and crying. Before I could see what they were crying about, I was pulled into a black void where my mother waited for me.

"Adrien," she said her arms open, "come home. Stay with me here." She wraps me in a hug and the beautiful aroma of roses fill the air.
"As much as I want to," I say, quietly trying not to cry, "I need to be with father. He may be cruel at times but he doesn't deserve to be alone."
She picks my head up and smiles, planting a kiss on my forehead
"I raised you well." I let go and watched as she got farther and farther away the black turned to a muddy grey. I opened my eyes and looked up to see a cloudy sky. I couldn't help but chuckle, it's good to be back. I sit up and look at my surroundings, everything seemed back to normal. The miraculous ladybugs fixed everything.
I laid back down and was met with the wet drops of rain, I smile and soak it all in. The air smells sweet and being able to breath is amazing. I feel something crash into my chest
"PLAGG!" I yell. I'm so happy to see my Kwami again.
"Adrien, I thought I lost you," he said, wrapping his little body in my shirt. I pat his back and feed him cheese. I should get off this roof and go back home

Cybernetic Dragon
Idea Seven, or Inter Dimensional Explorer Automaton Unit-7, has had a bit of an accident. Hijacking the egg of a dragon rather than its intended target of a bird egg, it isn't fully in control of its host brain. Rather the two, dragon and cybernetic AI interface, must work together to survive in a hostile world of magic, dungeons, beasts and adventurers. The AI must deal with being a machine from a world of science trying to carry out its mission of exploration, while the dragon, Rex, must deal with being a cyborg living with symbiotic nanotech that sets him apart from other dragons. What adventures await them? Author Note: I tagged this story GameLit because it contains concepts like levels, classes, and dungeon/beast cores. But, it isn't tagged LitRPG because no one has status screens, other than occasionally Idea Seven who likes to organize data into blue boxes. It isn't a natural function of the world to display level ups or skill ups with an announcer voice. I mention this to set expectations, because otherwise I feel like LitRPG fans might be disappointed by my lack of LitRPG elements while others might be turned off thinking I have a lot of LitRPG elements. I think that if you approach the story with an open mind you will appreciate the gradual way in which the main character learns and expands his understanding of how the world works, but the game mechanics aren't meant to take center stage to the actual story.
