A few more weeks passed and me and Ryder went back to normal and by normal I mean the original Talia and Ryder, the ones who made snarky comments in class about and too each other

An example would be right now, sitting in English which was the last class of the day

"For homework tonight, I want a minimum of a hundred word essay about Instagram stalking and your opinion on it" Ms Henry says writing it on the board

"Talia would know about that" Ryder smirks and a few people laugh

I roll my eyes "Says the king of Instagram stalking"

"That's not my thing babe"

"That why you liked my Instagram post from seven weeks ago yesterday, babe" I retort

"Alright that's enough you two" Ms Henry says with her arms crossed but I can see the smile itching to show on her face

After school I decided to go to Emily's place. There were two cars parked outside when I got there. I knocked on the door twice before I walked in

"Hello?" Emily shouted from another room

"Hey it's just me" I shout back

"We're in the living room"

When I walked in Emily was sitting on the sofa across from Alex and Oli was in his play pin

"Hey" I say and sit down on the bean bag beside Oli

"How was school?" Emily asks

"Same old, same old" I tell her "so what have you guys got up to today?"

"We went to the beach and then done a little bit of shopping" Emily tells me

"I hope she didn't dent your credit card too much" I direct my joke to Alex

He laughs "I'm well used to it now"

I get a message from Sarah a few minutes later

Hey can we meet up later?

I respond after a minute

Yeah I'm working a seven, call over whenever

Sarah answers saying that she'll come around nine which is when the bar usually gets quiet

"You working tonight?" Em asks me

I nod "yeah I start at seven until closing"

"Any plans for the weekend?"

"Nope" I shake my head "Need me to babysit?"

"Please" she smiles "it's just for a few hours tomorrow, you can bring him with you wherever you need to go"

I nod "baby daddy too busy?" I joke knowing they would get it

" Baby daddy is too busy bringing baby momma to her doctors appointment" Alex playfully rolls his eyes, a smile playing on his face "are you ever not going to be salty?" He asks

I lift Oli out of his play pin when he starts reaching out and rest him on my lap "you two literally had a whole ass relationship and a kid behind my back!"

"Oh get over it" Emily laughs "you're the queen of secret relationships"

I give her a fake smile and they just laugh

"You want some food?" Emily asks me

"What are you offering?"

"Bacon sandwich?"

"Definitely not" I grimace

"You usually love them, you weirdo" she grins and I laugh

I stayed with Em, Alex and Oliver for another hour hour before I decided to go home and get ready for work. I decided to go back to work a few days ago now that I was back driving so it wouldn't add to my struggles and to be honest I liked having my routine back

While I was gone, the boss decided to put a set uniform but luckily for us it was still normal clothes it was just you had to wear it every shift and for boys it was just a white T-shirt with black basketball shorts

We were lucky our boss was nice

I put on my 'uniform' and some light make up along with straightening my hair

I got to work a few minutes early but I decided to go in do that Samantha could get off a few minutes early

"Hey Sam actually before you go, do you mind if we switch shifts. I'll take your Sunday night if you take my Sunday morning?" I ask

She nods with a sweet smile. Samantha is really nice but we're never on the same shift but I know her from staff party's "yeah of course see you then"

A few minutes later Lana and Noah walk into the bar

"Well look at that" Lana grins walking towards the bar "our favourite barmaid is back"

I wink "what can I say I could only go so long without seeing my favourite couple"

"So what can I get you guys a table for two?" I ask

Both of them shake their heads "we actually have a flight to catch but Lana got wind that you were working so she wanted to come say hello"

"And give you this" Lana adds handing me a gift which was wrapped in 'congratulations' gift paper

"Congratulations?" I laugh

She shrugs "it was the only gift paper left" she laugh "anyway, we better go or we'll miss our flight"

"Where are you guys off to?"

"Bali"

"I'm so jealous" I complain "send me loads of pictures"

"Only if you send me selfies from work" Lana jokes

"I mean what else would I be doing" I laugh "Anyway go enjoy your holiday, don't miss your flight over me"

Thankfully the bar was empty so I could have conversations like these. I served a few customers and before I knew it Sarah was walking towards me

"Hey" I say when she takes a seat on front of me

"I love the 'fit" she compliments

"Thanks it's the new uniform" I tell her "you want anything to drink?"

"Just water thank you"

I put the glass of water down on front of her while she looks around the bar "pretty quiet tonight"

"Yeah thank god, I'm way too tired to be running around - especially in these heels"

"I don't know how you do it"

"So what's Mike up to without his beloved wife?" I grin

"Out partying with his favourite cousin"

I roll my eyes "anyway how's everything with you?"

"Good, I mean I've been pretty sick lately and I was talking to my mom and she was like Sarah just do it or I swear to god" she rambles looking nervous

"Do what"

She lets out a long breath and looks me in the eyes "I'm pregnant"

"Me too"
