《My BadBoy》Chapter 45: Oh sweet baby Jesus

" I choose you" I whisper, my voice barely audible.
" What?" Jackson paused and a unfamiliar look crossed his features.
" Oh, um," I coughed and looked the other way. " I meant I choose to know more about you..."
He smirked and ran his hand through his hair. " Well," with one quick motion he grabbed my waist with his hands and lifted me off his desk, gently making me stand on my feet. " Let me show you your room"
" What?" I looked at him confused. Of course this was a joke I should've known that—
" Chill, vanilla bean," Jackson laughed at my expression. " I just drank half a bottle of vodka and i'm pretty sure I was about to do something very unforgivable to you, so before I get into my depressing life I think you should get acquainted with your room here because you might not want to live with me anymore and also...I need a cold shower" He winked.
" A cold shower?," I voiced as he led me down the partially dark hallway. Time moved so fast it was basically nightfall already. Small lamps I didn't notice before on the wall shined softly so we could see where we're going. " Won't you get sick"
" Oh," He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. " I hope you stay pure forever"
" What do you mean?" I questioned.
" Hang out with Sadie and Aiden long enough and i'm sure you'll figure it out," He stopped in front of a mahogany door. " We're here"
He pulled out a card from his pocket and swiped it in a slot on the door. I gasped at how beautiful and spacious everything looked. The bed was smack in the middle of the room with a white canopy draped around it. In front of the bed was a trunk that was also a chair I guess and the room also had a small desk with a lamp over it , a TV and two bedside tables, nothing much really —which is just the way I like it.

" This is mine?" I still couldn't believe it.
" All yours," He grinned as if there was an inside joke involved that i'm unaware of. " Anyways your walk in closet is over there—" He pointed to the left. " And your bathroom is over there—" He pointed to the right.
"Good," I turned to face him. " Because I think I need a cold shower too"
I acknowledged the surprised look on his face as I shut the door, leaving the empty room to myself.
Exactly how dense does he think I am?
Okay to be fair, I remembered the whole cold shower thing because when I had a movie night with Sadie at some point I mentioned her ex and she told me he was off taking a cold shower somewhere.
Sadie, I sighed as I removed my clothes and stepped in the tub. I feel like I haven't heard from her in forever when it has only been a couple days. I turned the water to medium as I make a mental note to visit Sadie when I get back to the dorms. I think you should get acquainted with your room here because you might not want to live with me anymore, his words echoed in my head. Is it really that bad? Why would I hate him though?
As the water ran over my tired body I wonder if I made the right choice choosing to hear about Jackson's past. I mean I haven't seen him drink that much before and I'm pretty sure the only way he'll ever tell me anything about his past is if he's —in this case— half drunk. Then again I've always been left out of the loop, first it was secret calls from his 'boss', then he comes home dressed in all black and covered in blood...I sound like someone's wife.

Jackson's wife.
I quickly lathered, rinse and wash my hair before stepping out of the shower. Wife?, I thought as I wrapped a towel around my hair and then my body. How can I be his wife when i'm not even his girlfriend?, not that I want to be...because I definitely do not like him in that that way. Smh.
Why am I even thinking about this? it's not like he likes me, besides, not everything is about relationships. Unwrapping the towel from around my hair, I decide to let it air dry and exit the bathroom.
" About time" A voice spoke from across the room making me scream.
" Jesus!—" The lights turned on revealing —surprise, surprise— Jackson miller. His hair was damp so I know he just got out of the shower a few minutes ago, his attire is what shocked me most of all though. He was was wearing plaid boxers and a robe —open revealing he was shirtless.
Oh dear god.
" I'm not good with fashion so you must tell me," He looked at me up and down. I grabbed the towel with my hand, not because of him, no, because he's shirtless, there are still droplets of water on his chest and I'm not sure I can control my hormones right now. " Is white towel the new prada design?"
" Very funny," I glared. " Although I must say you clean up nicely sir"
His eyes darkened. " Please don't call me sir, at least not now I—we have to focus"
Heat rose to my cheeks. " I'm sorry I didn't—"
" Here," He took off his robe and handed it to me. "Just put this on, It's getting late and i'm getting sober, if i'm gonna tell you about my past I have to tell you now with..." He looked over my body once more. " No distractions"
" Right" I slipped his robe on and let the towel fall to my feet. he sighed in relief when I was covered up completely. The robe was fluffy and soft which made me want to just curl up and go to sleep.
" So," He sighed and sat on my bed. " What do you want to know?"
Jackson pat a spot next to him and I gulped trying not to look at his strong build too much because on the outside I might look a little composed but on the inside my subconscious is screaming,
Oh sweet baby Jesus.
