《A Dark Past (Aphmau FNAF meets MyStreet)》Chapter 9: Snitches of Secrets

Again, I do not own Aphmau's Mystreet or Fnaf roleplays nor do I own her characters. All but Jay.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Aphmau's POV
-----------------------------
I picked up an unused notebook stuffed into my socks drawer.
I snatched up a purple pen and scribbled on the fresh paper.
As much as I miss them, I need to accept the fact they are gone. Forever.
Sighing, I remembered this is how I'd felt when I realized Claire was a ghost and Andy was an animatronic.
They will never be the same. I can no longer hug Claire properly. I suppose I can hug Andy, but hugging a robot isn't the same as feeling arms wrapped around you. It's not like they have it any better though. I'm not sure what I'd do without Jay. He helped me. Heck, I might've never figured out where Foxy was coming from if it weren't for him. I owe him so much.
As for me well....I'm not me anymore. That place changed me. I'm no longer the same, mentally and physically.
I put down the pen and dropped the notebook on the drawer next to me.
Tracing the big golden letters on the cover, I sighed at their meaning.
'Forever'
Was written in big, loopy, and fancy handwriting.
What a joke.
Nothing last forever.
Not even Irene.
I walked out of my room, ignoring the blissful quiet and lazily clumped downstairs.
The sweet scent of chocolate hit my nose.
"Hi Aphmau~Senpai!" Kawaii-Chan mewled a little too cheerfully.
Then again, it was Kawaii-Chan.
"Kawaii-Chan made some chocolate cookies for Aphmau~Senpai!" She said, holding up a platter of chocolate goodies.
"Ooooo! Yummy!" I exclaimed, and grabbed one off the plate.
Biting off a chunk, the chocolate melted in my mouth. Mmm.
"Delicious as always Kawaii-Chan!" I complimented.
"Thank you Aphmau~Senpai!"
Scarfing down the rest of my cookie, I was about to go back upstairs when Kawaii-Chan called, "Wait Aphmau~Senpai!"
I turned around in confusion.
"Kawaii-Chan was wondering is Aphmau~Senpai would help her made pumpkin treats for the Halloween party!"
I pondered this thought. "I'm sorry Kawaii-Chan, but I need to practice for the talent show. I'll come help in 20 minutes or so!"

Kawaii-Chan's ears drooped downward. "Okay Aphmau~Senpai." She said a bit nervously.
I knit my eyebrows, concerned.
Dashing upstairs, I walked into my room and immediately noticed something wrong.
You know that feeling when your missing something but you just can't place it?
That's what I was feeling right then and there.
My eyes drifted across the room, scrunching up every detail.
Hmm.
My toys. Check.
My purse. Check.
My phone. Check.
Hmm....so what was I missing?
My eyes scanned the bedside drawer, and glued to the purple pen.
Where was the journal I'd left beside it?
The journal containing information!
My eyes widened and I cursed.
Storming out of my room, I muttered, "I am going to kill you guys!"
"KAWAII-CHAN!" I screeched.
"Y...y..yes Aphmau~Senpai?" She was chewing on a chibi cupcake toy, her eyes darting from side to side.
"Did you see any of the guys or Katelyn lately?" I demanded.
"N...n...no." She bit her lip.
"I know your lying Kawaii-Chan. Tell. Me. Now." I growled.
"K..k..Kawaii-Chan doesn't know! She swears! She only saw Laurence~Kun holding a notebook a few minutes ago while Aphmau~Senpai was eating Kawaii~Chan's chocolate cookies!" She squeaked in terror.
I turned away from the frightened meif'wa and bolted to the front door. Grabbing the keys placed on the table nearby, I unlocked the door and ran out desperately.
Those idiots! What were they thinking! They have no right to take my journal! I thought angrily as I ran to the boys house across the street.
Ignoring the furious drivers who were honking at me, I leaped across the road.
Nearly crashing into the pale white mailbox at the boy's house, I almost face-planted the cobblestone pathway.
Banging on the front door furiously, a very surprised looking Travis answered.
"Aphmau?" He asked.
"Where is it?!" I demanded.
"Where's what?"
"My journal!" I screeched.
"....You have a journal?"
"TRAVIS!"
"Look, I don't know where the heck this notebook of yours is, but I suggest you stop yelling before I go deaf."
"You mean....you don't know where it is?"
"No, I never even knew you owned a notebook or journal or whatever."

"That's odd. I think the guys might've taken it. Grrr..."
"I haven't seen the guys since they went to your house. Don't look at me."
"Thank you Travis. Now excuse me so I can go punch...I mean, ask for my journal back. Heh."
"Suuuuuure. By the way, I know." He winked at me, and closed the door.
"Know...know my job?" I muttered confused as I began my hopeless quest for my missing journal.
Gah.
I can't believe they would take it! I thought they were my friends!
I walked over the to nearest tree and slammed my fist into the truck, shaking the branches.
A loud yelp pricked my ears up.
Searching the canopy above, I could distinctly make out the figures of four people.
Knowing who it was, I shouted. "YOU ARE SO DEAD."
A terrified scream followed by several thumps confirmed my suspicions.
"Guys, I know you're up there. Get down here before I grab a chainsaw and cut you down!"
"Not until you tell us who Claire and Andy are!" A voice responded, but was quickly muffled.
"NO! Why should I tell you when you snooped in my journal! Scratch that actually. How can I even trust you!" I screamed back up.
"You're the one who's been acting secretive Aphmau!" That was Katelyn.
"Like Travis said before, EVERYONE has their secrets!"
"I get the feeling the one your hiding is much bigger than ours Aphmau." Dante noted.
"Fine. I'll guess we have to do this the hard way." I dashed behind the bushes, pretending I was going to get a chainsaw.
Four figures hopped out of the tree and bolted for their lives.
"HEY!" I screamed.
Chasing Dante, Katelyn, Laurence and Garroth down the street was not very fun.
Finally, we looped ourselves around back to MyStreet and they were headed for the boys house.
Laurence rammed the key into the keyhole and ushered everyone inside.
Chasing them furiously, I nearly made it when Laurence grabbed me.
Shoving me inside, he closed the door shut.
I realized this had been a trap all along.
Slamming my fists into Laurence who was blocking my exit, I twisted the knob desperately in an attempt to escape.
It was locked.
Cursing angrily, I turned around to my friends.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" I shouted.
"Aphmau, we need answers." Katelyn said in a serious voice.
"I told you-"
"Aphmau, stop trying to struggle. First, you've been acting strange every since Jay came and took you out. You won't tell us where you work, or why you come home so late. Then, you're avoiding us-"
"BECAUSE YOU WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE." I shrieked indignantly.
"And, your distancing yourself from us." She finished.
"Maybe it has something to do with those nosy minds of yours." I retorted.
"Aphmau. Tell. Us. Now. I have Lucinda's phone number and I can get her over here to make you tell us." Katelyn threatened.
I started laughing.
Not the happy laugh when you were told something funny.
Not the soft laugh when you knew something someone else didn't.
Not the sad laugh on a mournful day.
A laugh of pure insanity.
"You really think you can force me to tell you my personal business." I lowered my voice creepily.
Confident, Katelyn replied, "Yes."
I backed myself up against the door.
"Well you're wrong." I growled menacingly.
"?"
"You've pushed past the one line that's been keeping my thing together."
"Your thing?"
"Yes, wanna know what it is?" I asked, putting fear into my voice.
"What?" Katelyn demanded.
"My sanity."
Strings fell apart in my head. My friends were probably the only thing keeping my mind intact after years of torturous nightmares, and sickening flashbacks of my dark past.
It took all my will power to keep myself clinging on to life.
And my friends were breaking it.
I released a cackle of delight and clawed at the desk, snatching off the keys.
Opening the door, I flung off my friend's attempts to get me back inside like they were nothing.
Allowing myself one last maniac giggle, I dashed down the streets to find Jay, hoping I could keep myself together before darkness rose.

Rekindle
My Newest, and at the same time, Oldest novel. This is a Rewrite of my very first novel that I begun when I was just starting out. It follows the story of Mark Floyd, a broken man who once tried to do what he thought was right... only to be stabbed in the back and thrown away. Now, pulled into a conflict that spans time and space, Mark has a choice to make; Stand up once more, even if it means facing an unknowable future, or let the Embers of his heart die and sink back into darkness. ----------------------------------- “For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity”. Once part of a Special Ops team in the US Army, Mark Floyd thought he had seen the worst that Humanity had to offer. That was until his final mission, one that would leave him a broken and shattered man, betrayed by the Country he served, and abandoned by society as a whole. His dreams filled with nightmares of the ones he failed to protect, mind and memories clouded by booze and more, Mark finds himself stumbling through life without purpose or desire. Life isn't done with Mark yet, however. For as long as even a single ember remains in a persons heart, here is still yet hope for the flames of Passion and Hope to be Rekindled. When the dying embers of Mark's heart catches the eyes of a Being far beyond his understanding, Mark finds himself thrown into a situation not even his years of training could prepare him for. Will this new chance be Mark's hope at both Redemption and Recompense? Or will it simply be the final nail in the coffin for a man already dead to the World? [This is a rework of my very first story. The general story will remain the same, however a few details have been tweaked, the chapters have be Edited better and some chapters have been broken down into smaller chunks for better flow and consistency. The biggest change will be to the System itself; It will be a lot less "Game-like", meaning no stats, levels or similar aspect, though skills will still be present in the form of "Programs". Instead, It'll focus more on the Sigil's nature as super-computers and how they change the world around them. This should make for a much more "natural" and less info-dumpy system.
