The picture above is so beautiful!
Decided to give my lovely readers and extra chapter cause I feel like it! XD
=====================================
Aphmau's POV
--------------------------
You might've thought the sun wouldn't be down by 5:00 PM.
Strangely, it was.
It was like the sun knew Halloween was here, and decided to flee early for the holiday.
Driving to the address, I occasionally twirled my black locks between my fingers.
Upon arriving there, a huge white building, big enough for half a foot-ball field, was decorated with a huge red banner that read, "Halloween Party!"
Parking the car, we hopped out and knocked on the gray doors.
It swung open, and revealed a woman in a rose pink dress that draped down like a wavy curtain.
The woman occupying it was strikingly familiar.
Then I realized.
It was the lady from Delli's Icecream and Frozen Treats.
"Wait, your Fawn Dables?" I asked, surprised.
She beamed and said, "Indeed I am! You were that girl who got the mint chocolate chip!"
"Why yes I am." I agreed, giving a mock bow.
"Well come on in! We've got candy, cupcakes, drinks, and everything.
"Thank you ma'am." Aaron said politely.
She hustled us in, and we were immediately hit with the fresh scents of goodies, sounds of laughter and music, followed by the graceful movements of those on an every-changing color dance floor.
I spotted several people I recognized in the crowd.
Cadenza.
Nicole.
Vylad.
Even Zane, who was nibbling on a small cupcake with pink frosting, trying to hide from the blaring lights.
Me and Aaron managed to get ourselves separated from each other but I wasn't too concerned. We'd find each other.
I picked up a chocolate cupcake coated with a fine swirl of orange frosting, black and white sprinkles, and a spider ring.
I bit into the cupcake. Mmmm.
Yum.
It was then did I realize there was a huge stage set up in front of the dance floor, opposite the entrance.
A velvet red curtain separated us from the inside.
A few people including Dante, Lucinda, and Katelyn were streaming into the backstage.
Ahh, the talent show.
I quickly dashed over, and snuck into the stage.

Noticing a small tag that read, "Jay's Costume. Do not touch!" ;)" plastered to a red cloth bag, I plopped my bag next to his, and ran off.
I could spare some time for some real fun.
The talent show didn't start until 7:00 PM.
Returning to my original spot, I scanned the room for things.
Helping myself to a few other treats, I was dipping some strawberries into a nearby chocolate fountain when Ivy's sneering voice bounced into my ears.
"Well if it isn't the fat potato."
I turned to the pink-haired girl, and I had to admit, her dress was amazing.
It was clearly expensive, what with the intricate lacing and jewels.
"Where'd you get your dress? Lemme guess. The dumpster."
Lillian appeared, snickering, following by Sasha.
(Lillian's Dress)
(Sasha's Dress)
Just my luck. My old school bullies come to taunt me.
"Actually, I made it with my own two hands." I shot back, crunching down on my strawberry.
She scoffed. "Yeah right. Like your clumsy things could make something as hideous as that. You know what, I might actually believe you."
"I don't need your opinion on this dress." I growled.
"Humph." Ivy snorted. "Well sweetheart, I don't think you've noticed being the stupid potato you are, but no one cares if you need it or not."
Before I could react, she lunged forward, and pushed me.
Time slowed.
I was slowly falling backward into the chocolate fountain.
Ivy's triumphant face was glaring at me.
Oh no. She was not getting away with this.
I reached out, and grabbed her wrist just in time.
She tried yanking me off, but managed to only pull herself, so we were in opposite positions.
I let go, and she crashed into the table, cookies falling all over her, and chocolate spilling onto her dress.
Ivy started screeching.
"YOU IDIOT! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THIS DRESS COST? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I'LL HAVE TO PAY TO WASH THIS? YOU STUPID, UGLY, FAT-"
"Ahem." A very angry Fawn appeared.
"I'd appreciate it if you didn't use such inappropriate manners toward this young lady. She has done nothing wrong."
"SHE PUSHED ME! ASK LILLIAN AND SASHA, THEY'LL TELL YOU." Ivy screamed.

But Lillian and Sasha were just standing there, gaping.
"I saw the entire thing Ms. Lily. Go on, clean yourself up. I better not catch you trying anything else tonight or your kicked out!"
Ivy mumbled something like, "Yes ma'am." She picked herself up, but shot me a dirty glance.
She and her trio walked away, while Ivy continued wailing about how her priceless dress was ruined.
"Hey, thanks for that." I told Fawn.
"No problem. I hate party poopers. They ruin all the fun." She complained, before shooting me a smile and walking off, her curls bouncing.
"Hi Aphmau." Aaron's voice came from right behind.
I yelped, and turned. "O..oh. It's just you." I sighed.
He raised an eyebrow. "Were you expecting somebody else."
"Not really."
Then, the dance floor's bright colors depleted.
A few guests who were dancing looked down, startled, when the floor changed to a starry night sky.
Small dots of light dotted the walls, moving steadily.
With stars twinkling, and the 'moon' shining, one of my favorite songs began.
(Evacuate The Dance Floor)
(I do not own this song. Credit to Nightcore (xfairyberryx) for making it well...Nightcore, and Cascada who made the song.)
Instantly, bigger spotlights danced around, changing from red, to yellow, to green, and so forth!
"Come on!" I grabbed Aaron, and pulled him to the dance floor, where several others began dropping in to dance.
He started to protest about how he 'couldn't dance' but I shushed him, and pretty soon, we were jamming.
(Lyrics here)
Turn up the music let's get out on the floor
I like to move it come and give me some more
Watch me getting physical, out of control (Ah-ha)
There's people watching me (ah-ha)
I never miss a beat
Still the night, kill the lights
Feel it under your skin
Time is right, keep it tight
'Cause it's pulling you in
Wrap it up you can't stop
'Cause it feels like an overdose (Feels like an overdose)
Evacuate the dance floor
(Oh, oh) I'm infected by the sound
(Oh, oh) Stop this beat is killing me
Hey Dr. DJ let the music take me underground
Evacuate the dance floor
(Oh, oh) I'm infected by the sound
(Oh, oh) Stop this beat is killing me
Hey Dr. DJ let the music take me underground
Temperature's rising, I'm about to explode
Watch me I'm intoxicated taking the show (ah-ha)
It's got me hypnotized (ah-ha)
Everybody step aside
Still the night, kill the lights
Feel it under your skin
Time is right, keep it tight
'Cause it's pulling you in
Wrap it up you can't stop
'Cause it feels like an overdose (feels like an overdose)
Evacuate the dance floor
(Oh, oh) I'm infected by the sound
(Oh, oh) Stop this beat is killing me
Hey Dr. DJ let the music take me underground
Evacuate the dance floor
(Oh, oh) I'm infected by the sound
(Oh, oh) Stop this beat is killing me
Hey Dr. DJ let the music take me underground
Come on and evacuate, feel the club is heating up
Move on and accelerate, push it to the top
Come on and evacuate, feel the club is heating up
Move on and accelerate, you don't have to be afraid
Now guess who's back with a brand new track?
They got everybody in the club going mad
So everybody in the back get your back up
Off the wall and just shake that thang
Go crazy, yo lady, yo baby
Let me see you wreck that thang
Now drop it down low, low
Let me see you take it to the dance floor, yo
Everybody in the club (evacuate the dance floor)
Everybody in the club (I'm infected by the sound)
Everybody in the club (stop this beat is killing me)
Hey Dr. DJ let the music take me underground
Evacuate the dance floor
(Oh, oh) I'm infected by the sound
(Oh, oh) Stop this beat is killing me
Hey Dr. DJ let the music take me underground
Evacuate the dance floor
(Oh, oh) I'm infected by the sound
(Oh, oh) Stop this beat is killing me
Hey Dr. DJ come burn this place right down to the ground
(Song Ends)
Grinning like a madman, I pulled a sweaty Aaron off the dance floor and laughed.
"Oh my Irene! I haven't felt that good in ages!" I exclaimed, stretching my arms.
"That was pretty fun." He admitted.
"I'm gonna go check out the stage. Be right back!"
In truth, I was checking up on Jay.
"Oh, okay."
I zipped through the crowd, panting, yet my heart was exploding.
It would be such a shame to see this night ruined.
