(A/n this is a few months later)

Grayson walked me to class, well, he walked behind me as we argued.

"Why are you mates with the bloke?" He yelled as we entered the class.

"Because, he is my best friend okay? Nothing you do can change that! Why can't you just see that I'm not going to drop Mitchell for you!" I snapped as we got to my classroom. "You have to go"

"Nah, I'm talking to you-"

"You're not talking Grayson! You're screaming! Just leave! Don't make even more of a scene" I replied.

"We'll leave" Joe said and he Jing, Chantelle, Stephen, RemDogg and Mitchell left the classroom.

We left the class and listened at the door, as I want my bestie to be okay.

"Why?" He asked.

"Why what?"

"Why do you never say 'I love you'? why do you not let go of the dick for me?"

"You want to know the truth?" I snapped.

"Yes!" He yelled.

"Because I love him!"

"Then don't love him!"

"I can't just do that!" I cried. "I don't just love him, I'm in love with him! Look Gray, you're and amazing guy, but I went on that date to get over him, and then I actually started to like you. But then you yelled at me at the gala! Ever since then you've made me feel like shit for having friends!" I explained.

"Is she talking about me?" I thought as we listened on.

"What do you mean you love him?" He yelled and stepped closer, making me flinch.

"Are you scared of me?" He asked.

"No, when people get too close I get scared, it's everyone" I explained.

"I don't see you flinch with Mitchell!" He stepped even closer.

"Because he was there what I got that habit!" I said tears streaming down my face at this point.

"So, let me get this right. You don't love me. You love Mitchell. And you only said yes to me because you wanted me as some sort of rebound?"

"No! I went on the date as a way to stop loving Mitchell, then I really started to like you, but then you terrified me at the gala! I really like you Grayson, but part of me will always love him." I confessed. "I'm sorry"

"Fuck you!" He screamed. Before he walked away I felt a sharp pain to my cheek, causing me to fall but I caught myself on the table. He then slammed the door behind him.

"Katie?" I heard Mitchell's voice. "Did he hurt you?" He asked clearly annoyed. I turned around showing my face, tears streaming down and more burning my eyes, one side of my face bright red form where Grayson hit me. I couldn't speak, I just collapsed on the floor, no I didn't faint, I just lost all feeling in my body, I fell crying.

"I swear to god, if he hurt her he's a dead man!" I thought. She then turned around. My poor cherry looked so broken. She began to fall to the floor so I rush to catch her I did at the last moment. She cried into my coat, I just stroked her hair and let her let it out.

"I love you too, Cherry" I whispered, it was inaudible to her and everyone else, or so I thought, I saw Chantelle look at me shocked. I shook my head at her to indicate not to tell anyone I said it. She nodded as though to promise she wouldn't.

That whole day, Katie cuddled up to me I'd give her little forehead kisses and random hugs the whole day was like heaven, as I had her by my side the whole time...
