Xue Liang had given each Xue family a gift from Taoist Temple and some liked their gifts and some didn't. Xue Liang knew that Xue Hai hated her the most. Xue Hai and Xue Ya were never taught martial arts but they were taught embroidery and dance. Xue Liang was taught the same but with more to learn from after.

"If you all will excuse me I would like to rest now." Xue Liang then said. Her father nodded to allow her to go rest.

Xue Liang walked back to her room, Su Rong followed behind her. Both then stopped hearing Xue Hai and Consort Wan Bao. "Mother! Can't we just get rid of Liang! She's just a lower blood born than me. Even if she were to get married she would probably just be a consort! I'm more beautiful and well behaved than her but everyone seems to favor her!" Xue Hai was yelling rudely but Xue Liang smiled and listened to more of their conversation.

"Hey! Patience! For Liang we will think of a plan for Princess Ya's birthday. Just have patience." Both seemed to have something planned for Xue Liang. She then went to her room as she faced Su Rong.

"Rong, keep an eye on those two. They have something in for me." Xue Liang informed Su Rong.

"Do you wish for me to collect information on what they plan to do?" Su Rong questioned. Xue Liang knew they would plan something big to reveal her as a bad or shameful daughter.

"En. When they have a plan for me. We're just going to have to flip it around." Xue Liang smiled looking out the window. Going to sleep now, she still listened close for any intruders.

Su Rong went into her suit covering her body and face. Her eyes were the only thing seen. Night was dark, and she climbed to the roof of the Xue Family. Going to Consort Wan Bao, both mother and daughter were in the same room.

"Mother, what do you have in mind?" Xue Hai gave an evil smirk awaiting her mother's answer.

"We will use this incense when she goes to sleep as the sleeping pill goes in her drink. Prince Fu will be the one we use. We'll try to get him into her room. He is known as a ruthless man and loves using women. We'll use him and Liang will have to marry him." Her mother said with confidence.

"I like that plan, Mother!" Both mother and daughter were alike. Su Rong left after she went to Xue Liang's window and knelt down on one knee cupping her hands.

"I have come back with their plans." Xue Liang got up, opening the window to the side to let Su Rong in.

"Tell me what you've heard." Xue Liang said.

"Madam Wan and Miss Hai plan to drug you. They plan to use Prince Yu. Miss Liang, what is your plan?" Su Rong looked up to her. Xue Liang was sitting down on the chair leaning on the table with her chin resting on her hand on the table.

"Let's switch places with her daughter then." Xue Liang has dealt with them long enough as she evilly smirked. "I'll find a gift for Princess Ya's birthday. Let us rest today, Princess Ya's birthday is in five days so we have time."

Su Rong left, leaving Xue Liang to be aware of what she ate and did. She could easily get out of it since she was no ordinary human.

The market streets were busy as usual in the Ming Kingdom. Xue Liang was in search of a gift for Princess Wang Ya's birthday.

Su Rong followed behind her while they would try and have fun first. Both dressed up and covered their faces from being seen by people who have known about the Xue daughters being beautiful.

"Liang, remember we must find a gift. We can't just walk on the streets." Su Rong was the type to get things done. She was never a big fan of large crowds.

"I know. I want to though since it's been a long time since we've last been to a market like this and had fun." Xue Liang walked around.

They enjoyed the food and items. Going around they then decided to eat at a restaurant known to be well off for its food. Walking in, the girls then decided for a table near the window.

Receiving the spot, both sat down. Their faces were covered by a hat with long leather to hang down in front and hide just their face. They ordered the special dishes, and both sat down. Looking out the window, they awaited for their dishes.

"Have you heard that General Liu is returning soon." One fellow man said.

"Really!? That General that always seems so cold and distant like he's a demon. Why is he coming back?" Another spoke.

"The emperor called him back for the Princess's birthday. He may probably want his daughter to marry him or for him to find someone. The General is twenty-one this year." They spoke again to another.

"That's true. He's young and still hasn't found a woman for a wife or consort yet. He is mainly gone and denies going to any events but why did he choose to come now?" Hearing the common men talk, Xue Liang was very happy Liu Gang was coming back but to marry someone else also made her a little upset.

"Miss, what do you plan to do with the other two?" Su Rong decided to mention Xue Hai and Madam Wan Bao while Xue Liang stared at the tea in her cup.

"Those two we will do as planned. This won't end well but it's fire with fire. I've let them off too many times but there is no more this time. They will start to suffer a little. Both are snakes alike and now we'll see a snake that is weak when it sheds." Xue Liang said. The both of them then heard a commotion outside. Common people were all surrounded as they saw Xue Hai was in a quarrel with another girl.

"This robe is better suited for me than your kind! Give it here!" Xue Hai yelled furiously to the other girl as Xue Liang knew the other girl immediately.

"Miss, should we intervene?" Su Rong then asked as she looked at Xue Liang.

"No need. Miss Hai could be sentenced to death since she is going against the highest blood." Su Rong knew immediately looking down to see the girl again and she was none other than Princess Wang Ya.
