Xue Liang was given food by maids of Liu Gang Manor as she ate the food without arguing about how it tasted. Going over to a small pond, it had koi fish and a small waterfall as water rushed down with a gleam of light that flickered. Looking at it she remembered the Taoist Temple had a huge waterfall she would always take a look at and enjoy for a peace of mine.
Closing her eyes, she loved to listen to the rushing water. Su Rong remained by her side as they both listened as birds flew by chirping as they sung their song.
"Liang, we have to talk." Liu Gang showed up looking at her seriously. She turned to face him as she sent Su Rong away.
"What do you want to talk about?" Xue Liang asked curiously, not knowing what he wanted to talk about with her.
"I want to talk about Madam Wan and Minister Nie. I know that you have been collecting information about them." Xue Liang was surprised as she looked at him, not knowing that he would be asking her at this time.
"It's not something you should put yourself in." Liu Gang felt rejected as he grabbed her, pinning her to the pillar.
"How can I not be in it!? You keep rejecting me! I won't allow you to reject me this time. I promise you, I will get rid of those hurting you and your family." His cold eyes flared looking into hers as she never thought he would say that. Their faces were inching closer as their lips had slightly touched until Peng Lim and Su Rong came in.
"Rong! I won't let you off easily!" Peng Lim was following behind her as she was speed walking. Xue Liang pushed Liu Gang as they had a good distance, meanwhile Su Rong and Peng Lim looked at the two funny.

"Did something happen?" Peng Lim decided to ask first.
"Nothing happened! Rong, let's go. Liu Gang, don't blame me for getting you involved." Xue Liang walked off with a flushed face as Liu Gang could only smile. He thought she had a cute face on. Peng Lim went next to him with a smirk.
"What did you do this time?" He asked lowly. Liu Gang elbowed his chest lightly.
"Nothing, and what did you do to Miss Rong?" He gave Peng Lim a look as he saw a smile.
"She did something that moved me." Peng Lim answered as he and Su Rong were messing around.
_____
Su Rong and Peng Lim were trying to get an agreement when she tried to use her sword on him as he dodged it. Su Rong fell back on the stairs behind her as she caught Peng Lim's robe by the chest. Peng Lim had pulled her towards him as her lips were right on his lips. Su Rong saw that as she pushed him back as he touched his lips.
"Rong, I didn't think you had the courage to kiss me." He smirked having her blush and rushing off as he followed behind her. That was when they met with Liu Gang and Xue Liang.
_____
Xue Liang walked back to her manor but caught the scent of Xue Yahui going into the forest. She was getting worried, as she ran off shifting into the forest. Sniffing the ground she caught his scent going further in.
She found him nearly at the edge of the cliff as she hurried. Before he jumped she had bit down onto his robe by the neck as she painted exhausted from the run. "Ahh!!!" Xue Yahui screamed seeing the tiger had gotten him. "Please don't eat me!!!" He was yelling as she sighed.

'Do people always say this when they see a creature like us?' She questioned in her head as she lifted him up. Dropping him down onto the grass floor. He looked to her but she looked back as she rubbed her head to his chest. He was still short and small as she just couldn't stop loving her little brothers.
"I don't want to go back." She heard her little brother say as she turned to see him. "Father isn't my real father. Mother told me that I'm the son of Minister Nie. I don't want to believe it but I don't deserve to be a father's son!" She yelled as she wrapped herself around him. He gasped seeing how affectionate she was to him. "Why was I born? I don't want to ruin our family. Father raised me and Li very much and loved us a lot. I can see how happy father is with his smile. I don't want to be a burden to my father." He cried hugging onto her as she had him laid down as he fell asleep on her soft belly fur.
'Little Yahui, you don't know how much your sister loves you.' She said in her head as she caught the scent of torches. Getting closer she prepared as she was going to amaze all those who were about to see her for the first time. 'Yahui, big sister will protect you no matter what.' She rubbed her head against his head as he was sound asleep.
Hearing the footsteps getting closer, she turned her gaze to all of the men who stopped their tracks and stunned in one spot. Seeing Liu Gang, she didn't bother but rose up. Seeing her father in fear as he looked to Yahui as she stood up above him. She growled looking at them with a deadly gaze as if she was ready to attack any moment.
"Yahui!!!" Her father called Xue Yahui as he awoke hearing his father's voice.
"Father!" He said but in tears.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
