Liu Gang traveled with his army, they were traveling for three months. They stopped at some point but rested from time to time. Liu Gang still held onto his handkerchief given to him by his beloved. He would think about her so much hoping that she was still safe.

He heard growling close as he rose up. Looking within the forest it was dark but seeing brown eyes as he immediately ducked down. It was a large feline as it launched onto the soldiers which were supposed to attack Liu Gang.

The soldiers were ordered by Prince Ye Ping, he wasn't aware but the courage had launched onto the soldier but more soldiers were charging at Liu Gang. Liu Gang decided to get his sword as he wasn't going to die. He wanted to be sure to get back to his beloved wife.

"Why don't you go ahead and let your beast out?" He heard a familiar voice years ago as he turned to see the woman in the black cloak.

"Who are you?" He questioned her as she removed her hood. He clearly saw her purple eyes as his. He was in thoughts now as he didn't know who the woman was looking at him and talking to him.

"I will tell you later after you finish your duty." She said to him, soon he saw her shifting as he clearly saw her shift into a lioness. She roared loudly, many more felines ran out of the forest with many varieties. She lightly grunted at him to shift as he decided to choose.

His body just shifted as he felt his lion emerge. He roared out loud as many felines watched as they had been waiting for their alpha and emperor to finally return. Liu Gang started attacking the soldiers as his kind all followed after him.

Many soldiers were being slaughtered, they had been ordered and worked under the crown prince. "All of you follow your future emperor and alpha. He is finally here to protect his kind." Hearing the woman's voice in the beast language as every feline roared knowing that they're dominant leader had finally appeared.

Every soldier had fallen as none were left alive. Every feline shifted back to their human forms, even the mysterious woman. "My son, you've finally come home." The woman went up to him as he looked down to the woman who looked to be in her mid forties.

"Who are you?" Liu Gang needed answers as he needed more clear answers about his past.

"Come into your kingdom first. I will give you answers there." She said as he agreed. He felt so familiar to this woman as he followed her. She had entered the palace as every feline knelt crossing one of their forearms onto their chest showing respect. Entering the palace, she turned to face him with tears. "My son, it's been so long since I've last seen you."

"How do I know you are my mother?" Liu Gang asked her.

"Only the Qiliang's heirs have purple eyes. Your father was human but a greedy man. He had planned to kill you once you were born so I had sent you away from this kingdom to be protected. I needed to protect you so I sent you away to be raised by your grandmother who is no longer with us." She said. "Your grandmother was Liu Jia Lan. Which is my mother that raised you for me."

Liu Gang then compared his grandmother to the woman as he clearly could see the resemblance. He couldn't believe that he was of high status. "Why did my father try to kill me?" He asked.

"Your father was rather greedy. He wanted the power all to himself. I had to find a way to get rid of him. He didn't know every person here was a feline. We used to have a tribe deep within the forest but destroyed. We found this place and had him as the emperor but he grew worse which had everyone concerned. We were waiting for the new heir to come back and here you are. We have been waiting for you for a long time, my son." She told him.

He was absorbing every information given as he now had more duties than before. He had more people to watch over as it was his kind as well. They entered the palace with many felines of all sorts as they knelt cupping their hands together. "The Crown prince has returned." Everyone said with respect.

He followed his mother up the steps as she sat down at the highest throne. His throne was a little lower but he sat down in it. "Since the crown prince has returned. Why don't we find him a good mate." The officials and ministers agreed looking to one another as Liu Gang rose up.

"I already have one." He told them as they stared at him. "My mate is a feline as well. She is currently at the Ming Kingdom as well as my loyal subordinates there with her." He told them all as they were quite relieved to know that he had paired with someone good.

"Oh, you have a wife. I do wish to meet her now. You cannot leave though. I will send some of my people to retrieve her and your subordinates." His mother said to him as he nodded. He was then given a mask that covered his face leaving only his eyes to be seen. "We wear these to conceal our looks from outsiders. We must wear these at all times." His mother told him as he nodded. He now had to find out how to rule this kingdom that he was meant to rule.
