《Hidden》Chapter 23

Morning brought a cold breeze that whistled through the whole school.
It was late morning, and due to a blizzard late at night, the power source to the academy was frozen, causing the whole school to be doused in a dark aura.
The students went to class at normal times, and thanks to a few fire student's magic, the school was lit with a warm glow.
Headmaster and Emma we're playing cards against dragons with a male doctor, and the three of them were having the times of their lives.
"My Dragon was caught..." Emma, the cardzar that round bagan.
"Licking my dad or mating with a turtle." She burst out laughing, the Headmaster and doctor soon joined in as they read the two cards over and over.
Emma had tears of joy pricking her eyes as she soon settled down, a few giggles escaping her as she got the laughter out of her system.
The three we're playing cards against dragons on a dark black marble table, and the winter storm was echoing off the roof as the weather seemed to get worse.
Soon enough, lunch came around and a nurse with short light green hair came around to meet the three.
"Emma, your free to be discarged right after we change your bandages on your back." The nurse said. Emma nodded and exuded herself from the game and followed the nurse into a separate room with no Windows.
The white light given from the lights of the room reflected the white walls perfectly. Emma stripped off her hospital gown as the nurse took out the IV feed out from her wrist.
The green haired female expertly put the bandage over Emma's wrist and began to unravel the yellow bandage from her back.
The doctor inspected the three claw marks on the brunettes back and she took a cotton swab and swiped the white cotton over the wound.
The sudden pressure made Emma gasp and made her arch her back away from the nurse.
"We still don't know why your wounds aren't healing as fast as normal, but we will let you know when we have a few explanations." said the green haired nurse.
Carefully putting some Dragon gel on Emma wound, the nurse wrapped up the old bandage and threw it out and got a new, pure white bandage from a cupboard.

Emma lifted her arms up as the nurse wrapped up the wound for the third time that week. It was a painful process, yes, but the pain would dissipate after a while. The nurse passed Emma an over-sized uniform and the brunette quickly put it on, blushing from the nurses judgemental gaze.
"Alright, your done. Please, stay out of trouble,we have enough work as it is." The nurse said, shoving Emma towards the exit.
Headmaster was the next one to go inside the infirmary. When he came out though, he was fully dressed in his suit and had his top hat fixed.
"Good as new." The headmaster said enthusiastically. Emma smiled and walked behind the headmaster as the two waved the male doctor goodbye.
Emma and the headmaster walked along the seemingly endless amount of hallways. Many scented torches were lit on each side of the hallways and the fire filled the hallways with trusha flowers, grown in higher-ups gardens.
"This is my stop," Headmaster started. He stopped by his office with a red door and a golden door handle. He turned to Emma and ruffles the brunettes already messy hair. "Go find your friends, they've been missing you."
Emma's face was filled with determination as she nodded and took long strides down the hallway, leaving a smiling headmaster behind her.
"Its good to see her finally happy." He said to himself.
°°°
Emma sped walked towards the now empty cafeteria. The room was empty but the smell of food wafted through the air, mixes of salads and oven roasted meats and fruits could be picked out by the girl's sensitive nose.
She shook her head along with the thoughts of food and sat down in the corner at a table, staring at a clock as it's hands slowly circled around the circular time counter.
A small growl of joy was heard and Emma's head shot up in suprise. Two baby dragons, a green and a pink dragonette, were jumping from table to table as they escaped the grasp of a young dragon daycare man.
The boy seemed to be in his early 20s and had red hair and milky white eyes, just a normal towns person.

The man's white eyes met up with Emma's matching ones and the man smiled before speaking.
"Hey..." He said awkwardly
"Could you help me catch these two? They seem to have beem a bit to much trouble for the new students."
Emma laughed with a nod and got in front of the two dragons as they bounded the tables at fast speeds. The two baby dragons didn't seem to notice her until one Of the baby dragons ended up in the warm girls arms.
It struggled for a bit as it watched its friend get caught by the red haired man but soon melted at Emma's touch. She was stroking the dragons scales in a way that no Dragon could resist, from the top of the head, massaging in between the arms and wings, and slowly stroking the dragons scales all the way to the tip of the tail.
The unknown red haired man huffed as Emma walked closer to him. The red Dragon squirmed and squirmed as it tried to get away. If it had been a wild dragon, a pissed of mother would be bursting through the roof by now.
"Thanks for the help, but could I bother you to also bring that one back with me? My hands are a bit full."
And indeed his hands we're full. The pink baby Dragon was trying to gets its jaw around his hand but it only succeeded in pinching the poor boy.
"Yeah of course." Emma agreed and followed the red-head through multiple familiar hallways. Soon the two reached a pair of white doors that seemed to reflect multiple colours off of it's surface.
Using her back to push the door open, Emma made her way into the first level of the Dragon stables.
"Alright, we just got to find the stables 202 and 203 and were outta here." Red-head said.
"Alright!" Emma said with a smile. "Let's find those stables then."
The red-head started for a second to long and smiled with a small blush. The pink Dragon in his arms was chuckling a bit as it notices the temperature in his face rise.
After a bit of wandering and plain luck, the pair found the two stables and stood outside them.
Emma opened 202 and was greeted with a pink fog, the floor seemed to have pink clouds that could hold a little dragons weight. All around the walls mirrors seemed to reflect the beautiful room and the roof seemed to have clouds as well but little strung up stars hung down from them.
The aroma coming from the room made the baby green Dragon sneeze in Emma's arms, and the girl was thinking of doing the same if she could of.
Quickly backing up, Emma looked for the red head inside the stable 203.
The boy seemed to be laying on a patch of clovers and this made the Dragon in Emma's arms growl. The green Dragon leaked out of Emma's arms and dove right for the poor boy.
"I think that's her bed." Emma leaned against the door way and watched as the green Dragon continued to nip and pinch the poor boy.
He stood up and ran out of the room, leaving behind the green Dragon to do a small victory dance.
The brunette closed the door and waved goodbye to the Dragon. It responded with growing a blossom tell enough to reach Emma before she fully closed the door.
A pure white flower grew and latched onto her uniform, pollen spreading everywhere.
The girl plucked the flower and put it in her hair, earning a baby green dragons help of approval.
Finally closing the door, she noticed that the pink baby Dragon had already been out away and the red-head from before was nowhere to be seen.
The brunette searched and searched and even asked the nearby dragons but they all simply said that she was the only one or that they were sleeping.
The bell rang and Emma ran out of the stables, and through the hallways. To much in a rush to notice the red-head standing beside a pair of doors.
"So she's the one then." He said to himself. He walked into the staff kitchen and disappeared with the others.
