It was the next morning and don't worry I decided to delay my "unfinished business" with Saiki.

Doing my daily routine and heading out to school I was mentally preparing myself for the discussion I was going to have with him.

Well that's if he doesn't ignore me. Approaching the school I see Nendou and Kaidou approaching me.

I walk past them not hesitating a single second. I really don't have time for this, of course I felt bad I considered them friends but this was more urgent.

Before I could take another step I hear Kaidou call out to me.

"Hey y/n, Saiki won't be here today just letting you know if you're wondering where he is." Kaidou informed me.

Out of all the days he could've chosen to not attend school he chooses this fucking day. Great. Just great.

"Why would you think I'd be wondering about him?" I snap a bit towards Kaidou seeing his calm expression change to a frighten one.

"Yo y/n chill he's just telling you Saiki isn't going to be here today." Nendou stared blankly after confronting me but then I think he made an expression of realization.

"Wait my buddy isn't going to be here!" He starts yelling and sobbing wishing his best friend was here.

Welp just another typical day at school.

Ugh now I have to walk to his house the thing is I don't know want to go by myself. I can ask Kaidou and Nendou to go to his house and my excuse could be that we should visit him to see if he's doing alright.

I snap my fingers signifying that I just had the most incredible idea yet and rushed toward the gate to see if I can spot them.

"Hey Nendou, hey Kaidou!" I greet them with a small wave.

"Hey y/n." Nendou waves more enthusiastically.

"Hey y/n!" Kaidou greets shyly with a blush.

"So I was wondering do you guys want to drop by at Saiki's house to see if he's doing alright?" I question them.

"Yea sure I want to make sure my buddy is ok!" Nendo yells worriedly.

"I'll go too but I can't be out late since dark reunion is looking for me." He states but I heard his thoughts loud and clear.

"Actually I can't stay out late because I have a curfew and have to get my homework done as fast as possible or else my mom will get mad at me"

That was his real reason.

Man this dude has mom issues hope they get better maybe I'll talk to her later myself. I pound my fist while making that mental note while the guys just looked at me confused.

"Ok then before we got to Saiki's house we should stop by the market to get him a treat." I state my idea.

I hope no one else heard about where we're going specifically Teruhashi or how I like to call her blueberry.

Because that would be annoying.

"Hey guys!" I hear the someone call out.

And speak of the devil.

We all turned and while Nendou and Kaidou's faces turn a slight pink I was covering my eyes from her weird visible glow she has. Did anybody else not notice it?

"I overheard you guys talking about visiting Saiki, is he sick?" She questions oh so innocently.

"Yes actually we were gonna go visit him to see if he's alright but I don't think-" I was cut-off by Kaidou.

"You can come Teruhashi I don't think Saiki will mind at all right Nendou?" Kaidou questions Nendou and he agrees as well.

"Ok, thanks for letting me tag along!" She smiles towards us and I gave her the fakest smile I could muster.

We all started walking towards his house good thing the market is on the way.

Once we got to the market I overheard Teruhashi's thoughts.

"Why are we going to this retched place I can't be seen here it'll ruin my reputation of a perfect woman"

Even though she says this she still keeps a smile on her face.

I don't get how this will ruin your reputation of a "perfect woman" but what ever floats your boat. I say in my mind.

Looking for the treat I'll know he will love I bought him two packs of six cups of coffee jelly.

This better be worth it since I spent my last penny for this.

We head towards his house now and got there in no time keeping the treat cold with my powers while they were in my book bag.

Kaidou knocks on the door, and the person who answered was his mom.

"Well hello there, you guys must Kusuo's friends!" She says excitedly and looks at me and her smile grows even more.

"I haven't seen you before are you a new friend of Kusuo too, or possibly his girlfriend?" She ask excitedly.

"No I'm just his friend my name is y/n Ma'am" I greet her in my formal voice and with a blush on my face from the awkward outburst she did.

She smiles kindly towards me and pulls me into a tight bear hug. I stiffened not used to getting hug especially from a mother.

"No need for formalities call me Kurumi!" She says during the process of almost making my soul leave my body.

After that she let me go and went upstairs to go get Saiki.

She told us he was actually sick so she apologized ahead of time if he doesn't want to come down.

Well that makes me feel bad now I can't have that discussion with him. Ugh I guess that can wait.

Couple minutes later he comes down in his green pajamas. Looking like his soul left his body too.

"I'll leave you guys alone and talk while I make snacks!" Kurumi states while walking back into the kitchen.

We all go to the living room area and chat. Later on Kurumi brings the snacks and we all enjoyed them but Saiki seemed to not want anything to eat.

Later on they all start to leave, I stayed a while longer and it was Teruhashi, Saiki and I.

The hell do you guys think I'm gonna leave them alone together, not today.

She later leaves because her brother calls her to come home.

Success.

Well now it just leaves both of us. Alone. No big deal except for the fact it was quiet.

"So are you feeling better..?" I ask him not even sure in my self and he just nods.

Sigh, well shit what do I do now?

"Hey Saiki I know we don't know each other well and you may not think I'm good company but I felt bad for your well being so I brought this." I pull out the bag the coffee jelly was in and hand it to him.

Once his eyes see what's in the bag his face lights up. What surprises me the most is that he gets on his knees

"I swear you are a gift from god!" He opens one of the packages and munches on his precious.(get the reference)

I start laughing he just stares at me not caring that I'm laughing at him.

"Can't believe that's all it took for you to get in a better mood." I smile towards him.

Looking out the window I saw it was already dark outside. I look back towards Saiki and once our eyes met I saw his eyes have a pink flash?

I was enjoying my coffee jelly that y/n gifted me. I turn around and see her looking outside and I realized that it's late and she should get to her house. But when she looked back I felt my heart beat speed up twice as fast.

Not again! But wait what is that?

I saw her eyes flash a bright pink but I just brushed it off I think it was just from the lack of sleep I've been getting.

But my eyes still lingered on her form and for the first time I saw how the moonlight and the bright stars brought out her beautiful features.

I think the lack of sleep IS getting to me, I can't like her. It would be too dangerous for me but even more for her. I can't let that happen.

I slightly shook my head to get rid of those thoughts I stood up and lead her to the door.

"Thanks for having me Saiki, and can you tell your mom her food was delightful." I smile tiredly from being too social today.

Seeing him nod I left towards my house.

I was very close to my house but that was my last thought before I got knocked out. Feeling my body fall I saw three hooded figures surrounding me and my last thoughts were.

What the actual fuck?.......
