It was a long tiring day, and the whole group decided to go back to the hotel. I for one didn't deny, it was tiring to walk for hours. At least I believe I made progress with strawberry.

I stare at my ceiling recalling the fun moments we had also where I almost had a heart attack for losing Scooby.

I chuckled at how I must've looked like a madman in the streets. Then I hear a sound coming from the window and I see the pink cloud again.

Ugh I don't feel like talking to him right now.

"Ooooohhhhh y/n your father is here!" Fran comes in through the window and sits on my bed.

"Hey Fran to what do I owe the pleasure of this nice welcoming?" I question sarcastically.

"Now y/n don't be rude to your father I could easily ground you right now." He says crossing his arms.

"Ground me?" I scoff, "I'm too old for you to ground me." I state sticking my

tongue out.

"You are such a child, anyway I came here to check up on how everything is going." I raise an eyebrow at his eagerness.

"The thing is you only have like around a week in a half, your birthday is coming up." He says looking at me for an answer.

"How do you think it's going?" I ask sassily.

"I mean you did get my attractive looks, why is this so hard for you?" He says unknowingly that this isn't just about looks.

"Look Fran not much can be done in a day you have to let me have time!" I flail my arms.

"Alright just watch out for weird strangers." He says making his voice quiet. I look at him questionably, he looks like he knows something I don't.

"I promise Fran now if you excuse me I need you to leave before he comes back." I say trying to push Fran out of the window.

"Who's he?" Fran questions protectively.

"Who else old man, Saiki duh!" I say successfully pushing him out only for him to float. I look astonished considering this is the first time seeing him use a different ability.

"I'm not old I'm only 2,000 years old!" He states while filing his nails. I stare at him but before I could ask I hear a door click open signaling someone's coming in.

I quickly shut the curtains down and act like I was fixing it.

I turn around to see Saiki and the rest of the group come in. My mood dropped, don't get me wrong I enjoy my friends company except for blueberry, but I'm tired right now. I gave them a decent tired smile.

"Hey guys what brings you all here?" I ask them mainly towards Hairo.

"We followed Saiki since he invited us." He says smiling warmly, then I hear Saiki talk to me through telepathy.

"I didn't invite them they just thought my silence is a yes." He says, I stifle a giggle.

I look at him, "that's what I assumed knowing you, I don't think you're nice enough to invite people over." I smirk a bit knowing I'm right.

"Well than if that's the case I'll prepare something, you guys can take a seat and chat I'll be back in a few." I say while walking into the kitchen.

I reach the kitchen preparing some tea and getting cookies that were in the fridge.

I came back in the room placing the snacks on the coffee table. Then going back to retrieve the tea, once everything is set down I tune into the conversation.

"So did everyone enjoy today?" Hairo ask the group. Each of them nodded and explained their favorite part of the tour. Then all eyes landed on Saiki and I.

"Speaking of today's events where did you guys run off to?" Hairo questions.

I thought Tori told them where we went.

"Yea we were all worried for you guys!" Teruhashi butts in.

"Actually I want to know what you and Saiki did all alone!" Those were her actual thoughts.

"Oh it's because I got hungry and asked Saiki to come with me since he is my partner so I wouldn't be all alone." I simply state while grabbing a cookie.

They all nod in understanding, "you could have at least told us where you were going y/n, we were all worried for you guys." Kaidou says like a mother would lightly scold a child.

"Don't worry Kaidou it won't happen again, I promise." I smile lightly.

"Well than I think it's time for us to leave it's almost 8 and we need to be well rested for tomorrow!" Hairo exclaims tiredly.

I smile and follow them all to the door saying goodbye to each one of them, including Teruhashi.

I look at Tori, the last one to leave.

"Hey y/n if you ever need help to get things going, if you know what I mean, take this." He says handing me two pills in a small plastic bag.

"What is this?" I question him confused.

"It's a pill to help in moments when you're alone with the person you like." I raise my brow still confused.

"Ugh just dissolve it in a liquid and use it when you and Saiki are official, anyways I have to go bye y/n!" He walks off and starts talking to what I assumed was the ghost. I close the door preparing myself for bed.

Seeing Saiki already in his bed I smile. Making sure my protective wall around my thoughts were up.

You know he's kinda cute when he's asleep. He seems calms and worry-free anyways I have to rest if I'm going to help him with his powers tomorrow.

I go to bed and fall asleep.
