《You Are Ours [DISCONTINUED]》••37••

Woojin looked through some files, frowning as he finally found the one they were looking for.
The alpha looked up at Chan, the younger nodding slightly as he pulled the yellow map out to look through it. Chan turned to face the man sitting opposite from them, the air tense and quiet.
"Our meeting is about to start, I believe." He nodded and the black haired male smiled slightly, an amused look on his face.
"Tell me about the boy." Chan mentally sighed as he rubbed his temple, feeling the tension loose as he looked at his hyung. They've made deals before and was pretty good friends but the stress from the last week made him and Woojin more tensed than usual.
Hyunjin didn't try to sneak out again. They hadn't detected or found any evidence of a plan either. The omega spent most times in their rooms, scenting them and building nests in rare occasions.
It made him a bit sad, knowing the younger hadn't even touched the door to the dance room. He, of all, loved to dance.
Days could be worse. At least he showed emotions, unlike from some days. Chan believed them to be a mask anyways.
"There's not much progress. He isn't attempting on running and our words is working on him. He's under our influence." A low chuckle was heard as Chan looked at the computer in front of him.
"Like a caged bird, right? A really pretty one too. I can see why they are blood." The Australian knew what the other meant with they.
The male loosened his tie a bit, cold eyes roaming around his office. He and Woojin were lucky to find an empty room in the main building, no one would ever ask them what they did there.
Much to advantage, especially when they both were CEOs.
Their guest tapped with his pen, waiting for Chan to continue as the other sent information to the head computer.
"But there's nothing useful from him yet. We believed if we let him know some useless information, he'd find out himself. He isn't stupid, just oblivious." Woojin held up his phone, showing a message from Felix. The black haired male smiled.

"Did you mate with him?" He nodded, the man clicking with his tongue.
"It's a smart strategy. I'd do the same." Chan looked up at him, lifting with his eyebrow as the other male smirked.
"But you should always know the consequences." Woojin hummed at that, eyes glistening.
"We are aware of that. I'm pretty sure you'd like to fuck yours too, for that part." The laugh emitted in the room made him crack a small smile.
"That's true. His scent is clinging on both of you, so I figured." He shrugged.
"Don't pretend that we haven't noticed that scent on you too."
"Fair point." A wolf grin mirrored his own, even Woojin seemed a bit amused. But the older kept his cold, monotone face as he read the file.
Lee Taeyong. He hoped that file would be enough to know about their prisoner. "From what we figured, he seems to be identified as an alpha but his body and pheromones are like an omega's. I believe it had something to do with his father. We usually just call him our omega."
He knew that sounded possessive but he was no fan of sharing. The other chuckled, both of them knowing each other very well. He trusted them enough to not attack them directly. Chan doubted they'd try to kill Hyunjin anyways.
"He went through a heat some weeks ago and we marked him. That's that." Shifting, he pressed the upload button as he eyes the chip in front of them.
"I heard he went rebel?"
"Tried to escape once, didn't go well. It doesn't count when he hasn't come out in the lawn. He saw our prisoner Lee Taeyong and almost went rebel." A sigh and the other shook his head.
"I'd advice you to control him better, my friend. Who knows when he's going to surprise us all and actually make it?" Silence.
Then both of them burst out laughing. No way Hyunjin would escape, even if he so wanted or tried. He was simply already in too deep, like a drug and it was addicting. Chan already knew what effects they have on the younger.

"Also, Lee Taeyong huh? You know who wants him. I'm pretty sure all of the sibling's friends are wanted for some reason." Well, that point was true. Jinyoung and Hyunjin did have help running all these years. It was quite incredible how they succeeded to survive so long.
"I know, hyung. I consider giving him to them, for good contacts. I'm sure we'll get an agreement. Felix is currently handling it." That poor male, Chan already knew better than feel bad for Lee Taeyong.
He'd ordered his men to not take it too far, but he doubted the place they were going to send him to was any better. Taeyong would be thanking him later.
"Talk about Jinyoung." His turn to smirk, meeting those cold brown eyes directly.
"He's fighting more than his younger brother. I'm sure you've heard the rumors." Chan nodded, amused as he remembered the phone call in the middle of the night. Hyunjin had snuggled to his side, breathing calm and even as his brother fought against their men.
Then, the omega still trusted them, unaware of both Eunjeong's and Jinyoung's struggles.
He knew Hyunjin were starting to doubt them but they already him trapped, too deep in their webs of lies for him to cut his way out.
Chan couldn't wait to come home and cuddle with the boy. He was just too cute to be their victim.
"We made nothing out of him for months. For an omega, he's pretty strong. We're all surprised he lasted this long." The male sighed, shifting in the chair as he straightened his suit jacket.
"So that means?"
"We almost cracked him. Just the matter of time before he gives us the last piece of information." Woojin looked at him, his mate frowning slightly.
He turned his gaze back to the man in front of him. "It's been months. I hope it's worth the wait."
"Do I have to point out that boy also had useful information? We are starting to run out of time. Get what we need and then get rid of him." His face faltered a little bit before taking that cold mask again.
"And his brother?"
"He'll be gone soon." The other alpha laughed lowly, Woojin and Chan looking at each other.
Well, that would be a hell to cover up.
"The parents information is deleted. All of it." Woojin threw the map in front of their guest, the dark haired man humming while picking it up.
"Their father was good. Who know what went on in that little lab of his? I'm pretty sure all three of them got tested for whatever he did."
"Would their mother even allow that?" Chan shook his head. Most likely, she did not. That's why they needed the information. Their parents decided to play dangerous, setting their children's lives in danger.
If they would finish this plan, they needed to know whatever mr.Hwang was working on.
"Their children doesn't have any results of his testes. They are all clean. One of them are dead, even. Most likely from that night." Chan clenched his jaw. He hoped Hyunjin never had to realize how much they had been involved in his life already.
Woojin sighed, staring on the map. "They left nothing for the two brothers either."
No clue then. They must've been that desperate to hide it. To erase it. Too bad they also destroyed something belonging to them.
"So. Crack the boy, use any method you want. We need him, so long. And for Lee Taeyong, sell him. You know who wants him." Chan nodded.
In the end, nothing could end in peace. Not in a world like this.
He didn't feel bad for Hyunjin. But should he?
Maybe suffering was all he had ever known of.

Ortus
A woman wakes up in a forest, naked, alone, and injured. She has nothing but a strange, black dagger and mysterious, floating, blue boxes to aid her. Can she find food and water? Survive the deadly animals? Escape the forest? Learn about the life-altering magic the boxes provide her? She has to use her wits, her knowledge, and maths to do so. But first, baby steps. She doesn't even understand the language, yet. If you see any maths mistakes or strange story decisions, leave a comment and I will either fix it or consider changing it. This is also, essentially, a first draft. That means I will edit older chapters and nothing is final, including numbers. Any major changes are listed in the changelog below each chapter. Since this is a first draft, the start is noticably bad and inconsistent compared to the more recent chapters so you will have to endure that to get to the good stuff. MeiQ: Lore of the Labyrinth
Omaros City lays near one of several Yggdrasil trees that are scattered around the world. Each tree holds an entire labyrinthine ecosystem within or beneath it, yet the mysteries of their origins and what lays in their depths are only ever unraveled by the most skilled and courageous of explorers. Exploration of Omaros' Yggdrasil labyrinth is still in its fledgling stages, drawing in many with the allure of fame and glory that has yet to be claimed. Enter the harbinger Dubhan—cheerful, determined, and not terribly skilled at thinking ahead—and warlock Allouet— intelligent and resourceful, but desperately in over his head. Together, the two of them have half an idea of what they're doing at best, but that's not going to stop them from aiming for the labyrinth's unknown depths. MeiQ is, at its core, a fanfiction inspired by the Etrian Odyssey franchise, alternatively known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan. Despite that, it is written with the intent to be enjoyable by those unfamiliar with the series as well. The characters and the city of Omaros are original, while the story draws upon lore and recurring concepts from the game series. However, Etrian Odyssey is known for its lore being sparse and open to speculation, so much of the details provided in this story are exactly that—a fan’s speculation and personal expansion of the lore. This story was also inspired by and written as part of HereBeTreasure's Fast Food Frontpage Competition, enjoy some simple dungeon exploration plot and whatever else pops up from this.
