Final chapter, here we go

• One evening, about a week later, Fred visits Grimmauld Place.

• Harry and Fred sit together for a bit in silence. Eventually, they talk about Harry walking to his death. Fred admits he had been absolutely terrified and has been having nightmares Harry did not wake up.

• They end up sleeping together; Fred doesn't have a nightmare that night, but he still wakes up in a panic before seeing Harry in his arms.

• Another time skip to about two years after the war.

• In Diagon Alley, Fred and George are in their shop.

"I want to marry Harry," Fred said so suddenly George nearly dropped the box he was holding.

"Then tell him," George replied.

"How?"

• Fred asks Bill and Fleur for help since they had gotten married most recently. And, of course, Molly steps in as well.

• Remus has returned to the Defense Against the Dark Arts position, which is no longer cursed. Sirius visits frequently.

• One day, when Harry drops by Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Fred completely forgets the advice Bill gave him.

He thrust out the ring to Harry. "Become a Weasley like me."

George and Ron had to clamp their hands over their mouths to keep from laughing at Harry's bewildered expression.

"I'm sorry?"

"I mean, will you marry me?" Fred was positive his ears were red.

"And become a Weasley like you, I presume?" said Harry, grinning.

"Yeah, that too."

Harry laughs. "Yes."

• Only their families and close friends attend the wedding, which is... in the near future??

• A lot of the background relationships happen as per canon (Ron and Hermione and their kids, Percy and Audrey, etc.)

• Remus and Sirius are still happily married.

• Harry and Draco aren't enemies, but they're also not particularly close anymore. That doesn't stop Harry from getting along with his son, Scorpius.

• Harry and Fred don't have any children of their own, but they do open an orphanage for children whose parents/guardians are less-than-pleased about magical.

• All is well.

• The End

• Bonus: Because my dumba** self forgot I was going to say this, I'm putting it here. Fred's Patronus is a fox.

So..... there you have it. Eagle's Flight is finished — in a roundabout sort of way.

Thank you guys for sticking around, and even to those who didn't (not that they'll see this in that case), thank you. This was my first HP fic, so even with all the mistakes and inconsistencies and whatnot, I have a soft spot for it.
