Chapter 24. Defeat
Tee was ready to accept and negotiate on anything that could assure his life with Tae. He could care less about his zero balance or no home under his name, but he was trembling with fear even with the thought if living without Tae. He was still kneeling in front of his parents to listen to the final verdict and he knew Tae was only holding himself back because had asked him to.
"So you love him so much that you are ready to give away everything? More than your parents? What if he kicks you out? Who would you be? Once you wave off everything under my name, you wont even be a Jarujitaranon. Do you even realise the game you are betting on Tee"? His father said in an indifferent tone.
"I dont love him more than you Mom Dad. I love you the most. I can do anything for your happiness and you know that. But i cannot live without him Mom, Dad. Even if he kicks me out someday, i wont bother you i promise. I wont claim anything back, not even my surname". Tee said with a sadness lingering in his voice. He never wanted to choose one side. He wanted his parents to accept his husband too so that he could live happily being complete. But guess that not gonna happen.
"You think you can be generous than us? Your parents"? His mom spoke this time. But this time he only shook his head. He was tired emotionally and physically. "Stand up Thanapon". She almost hissed at him. Tee took a deep breath and stood up, stumbling upon his feet. He was just this close to fall down when Tae came and engulfed him in his arms. He softly placed a kiss on his temples when Tee looked at him with soft eyes.
Tae felt he was a selfish person. Only if he had not meddled with Tee's life, he didnt have to face this situation. But he loved Tee so much that he couldnt let him go. He only stood with Tee to face his fate and promised himself to never let him go.
"Tee Thanapon. I....". His mom sighed coming close to him. She gently cupped his face in her hands. Tee just leaned into her touches. His eyes teared up as he didnt even remember when was the last time she held his face. "Honey. Look, our son has grown up into such a fine man". She said to her husband who surprisingly looked calm too.
"Tee. Son. I know its not easy to accept the wrong doing, especially when its your parents who did wrong to their only son. But .. I hope you will understand. Today, i, actually we have been looking at you for a long time. Dont think that we dont know where you live and all. We saw how dedicated he is to you. How much he chrished you.
I wont say i wasnt paranoid or scared. Baby, we are dealing in this fake business world, where everyone is hungry for wealth and power. We got blinded too baby. We thought the only way to reach the top is to hop on anything and everything in your path. Without caring about your children or their feeling.

We thought Tae might do the same to do. He would hunt you down for your money. And so your friends. To be honest, at one point, Thanitt did confirm our doubt, when he was over possessive not to let you go". His mom smiled at Thanitt who sheepishly scratched his nape.
"We are not angry with you son, considering the fact that it was us, who did wrong to our precious boy. Tee, can you be kind enough to forgive us? We have just realised, there is no power and wealth than our children. I want to repay for everything i did to you, for everytime that i hurt you. I dont need anything but your smile Tee. Can we have our son back"? His father came forward and this time Tee couldnt hold himself. He launched himself in the warm, gentle embrace of his father. The same hug that he would've him when he was a kid. When there was no wall of materialistic things between them. When Tee was their sunshine.
"Am so sorry mom dad for hurting you, for shouting at you. For blaming you. Please forgive me". Tee was a cute angel. One, who could never hurt anyone, even if they hurt him bad.
"Okay. Enough with the drama. Who cries on his wedding hmm? Except, this are the tears off leaving your parents to go with your husband hmmm"? His mom said with a smile and Tee could only whineeee 'Mommmmm'. Tae smiled too at the reunion. Something he always wanted.
"Hello Sir, Ma'am. Am Tae Darvid. And thank you for forgiving Tee and giving him the happiness i couldnt". He came to stand by his husband.
"Young man. Its Mom Dad hmmmm. And am sure you will take care of him, although we have seen it. The way you look after him, the way you cherish him. We trust you son. But let me tell you one thing. One tear in his eyes, and you will face me. An i clear"? His dad said in a stern tone.
"Right sir.. I mean Dad". Tae smiled showing his gummy smile as a promise. Well. He would surely make Tee cry... In pleasure.

Tae Tee were finally happy as they sorted out everything. Their parents invited all for the celebrating dinner. Thanks to the big names, they were successful to grab the whole floor in the 5 star Restaurant for them to enjoy without being disturbed.
"Tee. Son. We are indeed so happy and excited about your wedding, but son, as parents, this isnt hoe we planned your wedding and i am sure Tae's parents had their dreams too. How about we arrange a proper wedding for you as a repay to all the tears you had to shed". Tee's dad spoke while enjoying the food.
"B..but.. I. I will not leave Tae". Tee quickly held Tae's hand who squeezed his hand softly. Tee's mom gasped. They had scared Tee so much, that the fear was imprinted in his heart. Just in a flip of a second, she saw her son going scared from happy.
"Baby. We are so sorry son. We are so sorry". She wiped those tears that fell off her eyes. Tae's mom hug her sympathetically. "We didnt mean to separate you from Tae son. You will stay with him. We just wanted to arrange our dream wedding for both of you. But... We are okay if you dont want. We are sorry". She pleaded her son.

"No. I am sorry mom. Its just .. I...". He couldnt even say how afraid he got.
"Tee, remember, no one will separate you from me. Not even death hmmm. I wont let anyone take you away. I promise. But mom dad is right. They must have planned so many things for our wedding, so this is the least we can do for them hmmm". Tae gathered him in his arms who sighed and nodded. This was the least he could do for their parents.
"So. Ermmmm. I guess the husbands need to go. They need rest. Yeah"? Thanitt spoke with a little tease. And even if he innocently meant to TAKE REST, the grooms blushed hard making everyone crack in laughter.
"Just wait and watch Thanitt. And you Kitten. Dont forget when it would be your time. You traitor". Tee faked sulk and the table erupted in laughter again.
Tae excused themself after the scrumptious dinner, it was late anyway and they all were tired.
"Tee. Do visit us this weekend for lunch okay. You , Tae and his parents hmmm". Tee's dad hug him tight inviting them over. Tae nodded in agreement. They bid goodbye to each other and Tae blocked Tee's ear to avoid any tease into his ears. But that blush made his efforts go in drain. They chuckled looking at the flustered couple but who would waste a chance to roast them, especially their ice queen was a sight to see.
Tae took their car to their apartment, and for a moment his heart skipped few bits. They had sat closer, much closer than this, did so many things together. But tonight was different. Most probably their relationship. He wanted to hold Tee's hand but the crimson on his cheeks made him blush too. He knew if he did anything at the moment, he wont make to their home. And atleast Tee deserved a best wedding night. A comfortable silence lingered all through the way until they reached the parking and then to the elevator.
Tee giggled cutely when Tae lifted him in his arms as they stepped out of the elevator. He held Tae tightly around his shoulder, putting his head on his chest. They were looking into each other's eyes, soft and gentle, yet, their feelings were screaming. Tae reached at the door and they both blushed to see a big ribbon stating WELCOME HUSBANDS on the door. He coughed to shake it all and opened the door with the help of Tee, since he had still not put him down.
Their eyes open wide in surprise to see their apartment all decorated. TaeTee didnt know when their friends did all this. But surely it was beautiufully arranged with flowers and their pictures hanging on the walls. It was romantic and they were surely grateful to their friends who made it a moment of lifetime for them because they themselves were too upset and worried about their wedding plan.
Tee patted Tae's shoulder to put him down, that Tae did. Tee was in an awe to see the beautiful moments scattered in front of him in the form of pictures. Some petals scattered here and there on the floor. He turned around to say something to Tae but frowned when he didnt find him. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didnt notice when Tae went and where. But soon he got his answers when he heard the bedroom door opening and then closing.
"I had not thought about the turn of events, but i am glad, it turned best for us. In between all the hassle and worry, the fear of staying together or the insecurity if parting ways, i couldnt arrange anything special for you. Something worth you, something to say how precious you are to me, how special you are to me, but i couldnt find anything.
I got this little gift for you. Not that extravaggent to say, but i am sure you will enhance its beauty and charm if you wear it". Tae stretched his hand towards Tee, holding a box, wrapped in a shiny paper. Tee looked into his eyes just for a second and lowered his gaze because he got to know what would be inside the box. He held the box with a little trembling hands.
He turned around to go to the bedroom to see and change into what Tae had bought for him, while Tae moved to the kitchen and grabbed a chilled beer from the fridge. This whole atmosphere was doing things to his senses. He needed something to calm himself. To wait and see Tee while in his conscious state. He didnt want to just jump on him as soon as he would come out of the bedroom.
He wanted to see how pretty he would be looking. With the costume and the pink on his cheeks. When he had bought the dress, he was nervous and now he was anticipating, impatiently. He took off his socks, belt, he opened his shirt a few buttons and leaned in the couch. Humming to a soft melody he loved. He had his head on the back of the couch, eyes closed. Tapping his feet on the tune, but everything stopped as soon as he heard the sound of the door.
He didnt dare open his eyes and see Tee, who was blushing hard, standing in the middle of the living area. Just a few feet away from his, Husband. Tae took a deep breath to even out his thumping heart, before he opened his eyes to see the beauty in front of him, and... He forgot to breathe .....
Lets wait for next chap😉😉
