"You ready?" I asked and he nodded, still looking a bit uncertain.
We trailed over to the house, and knocking gently on the door. There was a few minutes silent after we knocked. Then, the door slowly creaked open, to reveal Ezra stood in the doorway.
________________________________
Panic washed over Ezra's face as he saw us. Immediately, he slammed the door shut but just before it closed, Dream stuck out his fingers. The door smashed against his fingers and he cried out in pain; I don't blame him though, it must've hurt. Then, with his fingers trapped, Dream pried the front door open.
Dream forcefully pushed the door open and Ezra was desperately trying to shut it and get him out of the house. However, Dream shoved him out of the way and he was launched onto the floor.
I bursted in after him, and Dream was yelling, "GEORGE! GEORGE WHERE ARE YOU?"
There was no reply and Dream started to freak out. Ezra was coiled up on the floor after Dream pushed him and I was searching around for George. But he was nowhere to be seen. Out of the corner of my eye, I realised Ezra was getting up off of the floor. His eyes were trained on Dream and a sinister smile broke out into his face as he grabbed a cup.
"DREAM GET OUT THE WAY!" I warned then Ezra threw the glass cup against his head. Dream collapsed onto the floor, unconscious.
I was starting to panic as he began to approach me with another glass in his grasp. He launched it at me. Quickly, I dodged out of the way and the cup smashed against the wall. I ran, trying to get away from him. Hiding behind a cabinet, I tried to make my breathing more quiet, I didn't want him to find me.

After about five minutes, I thought I was safe. Until I heard a voice say, "Hello Sapnap." and I felt a sharp pain in my head and everything went black.
______________________________
My body ached. My head was throbbing. My brain felt like it was filled with mush. I couldn't think straight nor could I see. My vision was blurred, and everything around me seemed dark. I felt something poke me in the rib.
"Dream! Are you awake?" someone whispered. That someone was Sapnap, I recognised the voice instantly.
Then, I realised that I was tied up. A thick rope was wrapped around my torso and also around Sapnap's; our backs were pushed together and our hands were tied up too. Neither of us could move.
Wherever we were, it was dark: so dark that you couldn't really make our where we were. It was cold too, I was only in a t-shirt.
"Sapnap, what happened?" I asked, quietly.
Sapnap explained what happened. I was knocked unconscious when Ezra threw glass at my head; he doesn't know how he got knocked out though.
We were all alone, tied up to each other for another thirty minutes. We talked about how we were going to escape until someone came in.
"I see you are both awake," Ezra observed, studying us on the floor.
"Let us you psychopath!" Sapnap yelled.
Ezra ignored him and paced around the room, he was doing something but it was too dark to tell what. Then I noticed a knife in his hand.
He approached me, and I desperately tried to flinch away from the blade. Unexpectedly, he cut the ropes around my torso. But then, he grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and threw me backwards onto a rickety, wooden chair. I sighed as he tied my up again, against the back of the chair. He did the same to Sapnap, the back chair he was tied to was pushing against the back of mine. Neither of us tried to fight back because of the weapon in his grasp.

Suddenly, a light flickered on; it was only dim though. There was another chair in the middle of the room which we hadn't noticed. A person was slumped down in the chair.
I gasped as I realised... it was George.
George's head was hanging forward but he didn't look like himself- his hair was combed differently, his eyes looked like they'd been smudged with black makeup and his posture was collapsed like a rag doll. He was being held up only by duct tape around his chest holding him to the back of the chair, with his arms stuck behind him, somehow.
Ezra stepped forward and stood beside George. He lifted George's head by grabbing a fist full of the hair on his head and yanking it upwards. We see that his mouth had been taped shut and his darkened eyes were barely open.
"No... George," I whispered, my voice breaking.

After all, she was also given the privilege of joining at a younger age than anyone else. Machiavellian manipulator Unity Eden is growing tired of the tasks forced onto him by those who control him, unfortunately he also happens to be controlled by the leaders of the largest empire the world has ever seen. While he has little hope of wriggling his way out of it, he intends to make his entry into the Sieve as damaging to them as he can. While most are fixated on the events of the Sieve's stages, intently watching the young and talented as they go head to head to find out who holds the title of strongest, Karma Alabaster has her eyes on the powers behind the curtains- the endless machinations of the Immortals and their servants. Caught between enough crisscrossing schemes to form a spiderweb, she must use every ounce of her not inconsiderable mind to keep herself from playing into another's hands... all while solving a mysterious and seemingly impossible murder. The winds of change are blowing in Bermuda, and only one person will shape them. Cover art by: Nova @no_no_nova on tiktok @no_no_no_nova on ig THREE NEW CHAPTERS POSTED EVERY SINGLE WEEK.

Transported to another world, with a system that lets you take your fate into your own hands. Inside a dungeon, who knows how far away from human civilization, where the only way out is through. Join Noah in his desperate struggle and find out what this new world has in store for him. I am REALLY bad at synopses. What I will aim for in my story: 1. Logical choices 2. Good character development ( first story, might mess it up :D ) 3. I have epic plans for the future (not an actual aim but just saying :D ) What I will avoid like the plague: 1. Characters' IQ suddenly dropping just to further the story. 2. Whimpy main character 3. Stupid situations that can be avoided by basic communication and clearing things up. All in all, no generic trash anime protagonist and stereotypes. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
