Robin was suspended for failing yet another math test. Finney was meant to tutor him but he had been sick so he wasn't able to. Robin really needed to get back into school as his mother would kill him.

Robin had heard about y/n. He knew she was good at most subjects and decided that she would be the best person to tutor him. He also knew that she wouldn't just do it so he had to charm his way to convince her to do it

I was cycling to the lake like I do every Sunday when I was stopped by none other than the robin Arellano

Robin- hey, y/n right?

Y/n- yeah?

Robin- I need you to tutor me please

Y/n- I'm sorry but I'm kind of busy right now

Robin- oh ok, well you look really pretty

He knew that comment would get to her

Y/n- eh bye

With that I left. His comment playing in my head all day. Boys never noticed me, Gwen was the one they noticed. To have a boy like robin arellano notice me was like a dream come true

The comment he made was forced out but there was no denying that she was absolutely beautiful. He had no idea how boys never notices her, let alone him never noticing her. It was most likely that her being smart turned them off but once you looked past that she was beautiful. Everything about her.

As I was coming back home I decided to change my mind and cycled towards his house

Robin- hey, what are you doing here?

He stood up off his porch and walked towards me

Y/n- I'll tutor you

Robin- really? What changed your mind

I couldn't tell him the truth

Y/n- I felt bad for saying no

Robin- well thank you

I smiled and so did he

God her smile was gorgeous. He would happily watch her smile all day. Again he thought about how beautiful she was.

For the rest of the week she would come by his house and tutor him

Y/n- so then you just- are you even paying attention?

Robin- yeah, yeah totally

His eyes moved from her to the paper

Robin- I'm sorry, I still don't understand

Y/n- don't be sorry, it's confusing

Robin- tell me about it

He laughed and so did I

Y/n- I should go now but I'll come back tomorrow before your resit of the test

Robin- thanks

With that I left. I didn't want to admit it but I did like him. There was something about him that made me light up inside

He liked her too. He thought she was stunning. He thought her smartness and his toughness would be an amazing couple, he just didn't know how to say it

The next day I came by his house and helped him. Later that day he resat the exam. Afterwards, he had to stay there and watch the examiner correct it. Once he got the result he was ecstatic. He cycled to y/n's house

Y/n- what are you doing here?

Robin- I passed!

Y/n- oh robin that's amazing

Robin- I know! Thank you so much

Y/n- your welcome, how can we celebrate?

Robin- how about I take you on a date tonight

Y/n- a date?

Robin- we both have feelings for eachother so to call it hanging out would be awkward, so better to just say it as it is

Y/n- wow eh I don't know what to say

Robin- you don't want to go?

Y/n- no, no of course I want to go I just didn't know I made it so obvious I liked you

Robin- let's not worry about that right now

I nodded. Butterflies erupted in my stomach. I couldn't wait for our date

The whole rest of the night I ran around getting ready, I wanted to look perfect
