《The black phone ~imagines~》Newspaper boy (billy)

Billy always dropped the papers at the same time every morning. I wasn't stalking him, I just happened to know
He also just happened to know that her house was the fifth house he passes and she always answers the door a minute after he drops it
It was a regular Sunday morning. Passing by old mrs Margaret's and John daltons, he was nearing the y/l/n's house
I sat at the kitchen table, eating my usual breakfast. Through the window I saw billy stopping outside my house, paper in hand
I walked to the door, opening it slowly.
She stood there, her dressing gown to her ankles and her nightdress above her thigh
Y/n- hey your that paperboy, billy right?
Billy- eh yeah
He smiled softly
Y/n- cute dog
I began walking down to him, barefoot through the front lawn
Y/n- anything interesting in the papers?
Billy- just a missing kid
Y/n- no shit, really?
She leaned against him, overlooking his shoulder to see the paper that he was now holding out for her to see
Y/n- oh my god, I know him
Billy- everyone knows Vance hopper
Y/n- I hope they find him
Billy- you think they will?
Y/n- maybe
Billy- nothing bad really ever happens in Denver, they'll find him
Y/n- do you want to come in for something to eat
Billy- I'd love to but my boss would kill me
Y/n- right
I smiled trying not to let on that I was disappointed
Billy- we should hang out though
Y/n- totally. Hey I could help you hand out the papers so we can hang out today
Billy- eh ok
I grabbed his hand, pulling him to my house. I left him in the sitting room and ran to my room to change
Y/n- ready
Billy- we're handing out papers, not going to a fashion show

Y/n- oh shut up
She was wearing a sun dress, not the most appropriate attire for walking miles and dropping off papers
He left his bike at my house and we began walking. I babbled on about nonsense while he handed out the papers
Y/n- sorry am I boring you
Billy- no, not at all. I think it's great that your so passionate about art
Y/n- you were listening?
Her face lit up
Billy- of course I was
Y/n- my parents don't usually listen to me
Billy- honestly same, my parents don't listen to me
Y/n- I mean what's with that, we listen to then talk about work so shouldn't they give us the decency of listening to us for like 20 minutes
Billy- yeah
Y/n- you don't say much, do you?
Billy- I guess not
Y/n- why
Billy- why what?
Y/n- why don't you say much?
Billy- no one cares what I have to say
Y/n- I care
Billy- you don't have to say that
Y/n- well I can and I did
Billy- suit yourself
Y/n- so tell me
Billy- tell you what?
Y/n- about yourself
Billy- I'll tell you more, on a date though
Y/n- I thought this was a date
Billy- no a real date
I smiled. I didn't understand at first the feeling I was having but now I knew, I was inlove with billy showalter
He felt the same too. You may say your too young to know what love is but they knew, they really knew.
He knew she would change him. For the better. From the shy boy he was to an open happy kid.
If only they had enough time to do so. 2 days before their scheduled date, billy went missing, just like Vance
