650 words
Robin was out and about messing around because he had nothing else to do. He didn't really hang out with anyone, other then Finney. Finney was sick so they couldn't hang out, because in Finneys words "I don't want you to catch the plague i have and die."
He was walking downtown and came across a store. He had nothing else to do so he went inside and looked around. He went to the hat section to see if they had anything. He saw a bandana, it was a nice burgundy color. Robin knew Finney liked the color red.
He looked at it for a while deciding if he should spend his money on something this dumb, then took it over to the counter to pay. He only had about 4 bucks left after the purchase but Robin knew it was worth it. He grabbed the bag and left the store, heading home for dinner.
A few days later Finney said he could finally come over because he wasn't sick anymore. Robin finished getting ready and remembered something. He went over to his dresser, and grabbed the bag that was on top of it. Robin began walking to Finneys, humming a song.
Once he got there he opened the door without knocking, he didn't really have to anymore. He walked straight into Finneys room, after greeting Gwen who was in the living room watching tv. "Hey Rob, i missed you." Finney said, smiling softly. "Yeah yeah, anyways, i got you something." Robin said, grinning.

Finneys eyes lit up, " What is it?!" He asked. Robin just smiled at his best friends reaction, Robin thought it was absolutely adorable. Robin shook his head to get that thought out of his mind. He handed Finney the bag, and sat on his bed. Finney sat next to him and opened the bag revealing the bandana.
Finney smiled widely, eyes crinkling and all. Robin looked at him, admiring the smile he was able to put on his best friends face. "I love it Robin, we match now." Finney said, looking over at Robin. Robin felt his face heat up. "Uh- oh- yeah we do." Robin says, feeling like a idiot for stuttering. Finney just laughs and hands the bandana to Robin.
Robin looks at Finney confused. "Put it on me idiot." Finney laughs. Robin curses himself mentally for being an idiot, again. Robin leans closer to Finney, putting the bandana around his head, tying it. Robin leans back and smiles at the sight. "How do i look? Do i look badass like you now?" Finney says, trying to make a mean looking face. Robin laughs, "You look pretty. Definitely don't look badass tho." He says.
Finneys face heats up, "Pretty?" He says, smiling like a fool. Robin just then realizes his mistake, face heating up rapidly, and eyes closing from embarrassment. Finney puts his hands on both sides of Robins face, drumming them to make Robin open his eyes. Robin finally opens them and sees how close they are now. "Uh Finney?.." Robin says, wondering what is going on.
"You think i'm pretty?" Finney asks. Robins brain shuts down. "Uh well, yeah, uh, of course." Robin stutters out, cringing internally for how he sounds. Finney just giggles and kisses Robins nose. "Thank you Rob.." Finney says. Robin is still trying to process that Finney literally just kissed him. He snaps out of it and leans his head into one of Finneys hands. "Anytime Finney Blake." Robin says.
Finney just laughs and leans over connecting their lips. Robin was glad he decided to make that dumb purchase.
