Your Pov

"(Y/n) get up!" I hear my mom yell. "Five more minutes..." I grumbled back. "Five more minutes my ass! If you aren't down here in Five minutes I'm gonna tell Finney you like him!" She yells back. I scramble up and quickly get dressed.

"I'm up! I'm up!" I quickly state sitting down at the table. "I knew that would do it." She smiles and I roll my eyes. She places a plate down with scrambled eggs and a pancake. I immediately start to shove food in my mouth. I love food sooo much.

Once I finish I go upstairs to brush my teeth and put some makeup on. I put on my shoes, grab my bag, and then say quick 'bye' to my mom.

As I walk down the street I can't help but regret not bringing a jacket, its freezing out here. "Boo!" Gwen yells causing me to jump. "Hey Gwen!" I say back, "Hey (y/n)! Are you excited?! It's Halloween!" She exclaims while Finn walks up to us. "More like it's another Tuesday," Finn says, "That is not true!" Gwen shouts. "Yeah!" I agree with her, "you can't even be talking, you like candycorn!" I say.

He just rolls his eyes and we keep walking. Halfway through our walk a light breeze passes causing me to put my arms around myself, trying to hug warmth into me. "You cold?" Finney asks me. "Yeah, a little." I say while shivering. "Here," He says while taking off his jacket and handing it to me. "Oh no! It's fine-" "take it" He insists. I reluctantly grab it and put it on, with rosey cheeks.

I look up to see Gwen starting at us in awe. "When's Ryan gonna do that for me." I hear her mutter as she turns back around. I laugh softly and keep walking. This boy is gonna be the death of me, and he doesn't even know it.

"Hey Gwen!" Ryan shouts from outside the school. He was waiting for Gwen, how cute. "Hi Ryan!" She glows and runs up to him. I look up at Finn to point it out but he's already looking at me. I flush and turn back. "They're so cute!" I tell him while watching them hug. "Mhm," he mumbles not even looking in their direction.

Finn's Pov

We all keep walking to school, after (y/n) made that extremely rude comment about me liking candycorn. What can I say? It's good! While walking a light breeze passes, causing (y/n) to shiver and wrap her arms around her body. "You cold?" I ask her, "Yeah, a little." She shivers as she talks.

"Here." I say as I start to take off my jacket. I have a sweater underneath, I'll be fine. "Oh no! It's fine-" she tries to start, "take it." I insist as I shove the jacket in her hands. She slowly grabs it and puts it on. I see her cheeks heat up and she smiles slightly, how cute, wait no. Not cute, just normal.

"When's Ryan gonna do that for me." I hear Gwen say and (y/n) laugh. She couldn't like me, could she?

Once we arrive at school Ryan shouts something to Gwen. I can't really focus because I'm watching (y/n)'s face light up at the sight of them. She looks up at me and sees I'm already looking at her. She quickly turns and blushes. "They're so cute!" She says, "Mhm," I tell her. But really, I'm justing looking at how cute she looks with my jacket smiling.

Your Pov

Me and Finney walk into school. "I'll see you later." I tell him as I walk into my first class, "see you." I hear him say. I sit down next to Lucy. "Hey (y/n)!" She quickly says, "Hi Lucy!" I respond back with the same energy. "You won't believe what happened to me! I saw this cute guy at the mall and- is that Finneys jacket?" She cuts herself off mid sentence.

"Oh, uhm yeah. He gave it to me because I was cold." I tell her, I completely forgot I was wearing it. "Omg! I ship you two!" She shouts before continuing. I just looks forward, cheeks redder than a tomato.

◇Time Skip◇

"Now class, a big project is coming up so-" the bell cuts off my third peroid teacher and everyone rushes out. "I didn't say you were dismissed!" She tries to shout but half the kids already left, including me. I walk into my next class. Finney's already there, with Donna talking to him.

I walk over and Donna immediately leaves with a huff when she sees me. "What was that about?" I ask once I sit down. "Donna was asking about trick or treating. She wanted me to go with her, but I told her I was going with you and Gwen." He says simply. "She's gonna hate me more now!" I sigh and he chuckles.

"You still have my jacket on?" He says slightly surprised. "It's so soft and warm! There was no way I was gonna take it off." I tell him and see his cheeks heat up a bit, but I ignore it.

"Good morning class!" The teacher shouts gaining everyone's attention. "Today we are going to do something more...fun!" He says. The more fun activity was a coloring sheet, and Halloweenish music in the background. I could get used to this.

Suddenly I feel eyes on me and turn to see Donna fuiming, Lucy is next to her pointing and gawking at me and Finn. I guess Lucy told her about the jacket. I shrug and continue coloring my cat and pumpkin.

"Dude! You're not even staying in the lines!" I laugh looking over at Finns page. "Why would I want to color a zombie and vampire?" He looks at me with an eyebrow raised. "Because it's better than doing work!" I state and he rolls his eyes.

He looks over at my sheet before dragging his green crayon over the cats face. I turn to him slowly and he tries to suppress a laugh. "I hate you so much."

"(Y/nnnnn) I'm sorrryyyyy!" Finney tries to tell me. Ever since he messed up my cat I've been ignoring him. "It wasnt even that bad! You ended up turning it into lightning!" He reasons. "Only cause you messed it up!" I grumble back. "Ughhhh, I'll give you all of my KitKats tonight?" He offers, that's actually not a bad deal.

"Stop arguing like a married couple and eat lunch!" Gwen shouts at us while turning back to talk to Ryan. I sit down and start eating my sandwich. "What that a yes or no to my offer?" He asks, laughing awkwardly. I start to giggle, "It was fine from the start, I just wanted to see what you would do." I tell him with a mouth full of food. He looks at me and starts eating, finally calmed down.

"What are you guys going as tonight?" I ask everyone. "A Cat!" Gwen shouts, "A zombie," Ryan tells me. "I dunno yet," Finney shrugs. "Halloween is literally tonight, and you don't know?" I ask him. "I'll figure something out." He says, "What about you?" He asks. Oh right, I don't have anything. "Uhhhh, a ghost?" I say unsure. "You don't have a costume either?" He smirks

"Well no! But I'll make one!" I state confidently. "What if we like, get white sheets and turn them into ghosts. So we kinda match?" He suggests. "Yeah...Yeah! That would be fun!" I shout. Oh this is gonna be great!

After school is over, Finn comes to my house and Gwen and Ryan go to theirs. "Hey mom, do we have two white sheets you don't need anymore?" I shout, "Why on earth would you need white sheets?!" She calls back. "To make ghost costumes for me and Finn!" I yell, "Oh, Finneys here?" She says before walking over to us.

"Why didn't you say? Of couse I'll get you two some sheets!" She smiles sweetly at Finn, before looking at me. She looks me up and down before smirking. Whyd she do- oh yeah, his jacket. How do I keep forgetting I have it on? "Do you need your jacket back? Orr?" I ask while slowly taking it off. "No it's chill, you can keep it if you want. I'll be fine." He smiles at me. Not this cliché crush moment.

My mom comes back with two sheets and throws them at my face. "What was that for?!?" I ask trying to fix my hair. "Just felt like it. Have fun you two!" She says as she walks into the kitchen. "Weirdo." I mumble and hand Finney a sheet. "Okay, so how should we do this?" I ask him, "Uhm put yours on and I'll draw eye holes for you, and then you do it for me." He responds. I nod and throw the sheet over my body, "I feel really stupid right now." I sigh and he laughs.

Once me and Finn finish cutting the eye holes and making sure everything looks good we add details. By details I mean a smile and other random things. I made my have a weird lopsided smile with rosey cheeks, while Finney made his look mad with his tongue out.

I walked out of the room to grab pillow cases for us to put candy in. As I turn around I'm found face first next to a mad ghost. I jump slightly then start to giggle at how stupid he looks. Before I can move he tackles me into a big bear hug and we fall to the floor.

I start flailing around while laughing making it hard to move. To make it worse Finney takes his arms out and starts tickling me. "Finney- Stop!" I try to get out but it's drowned out with laughter.

He finally gets up and lends me a hand. I grab on a he pulls me up. "I'm not sorry." He says while snatching a pillow case. "That was so mean. I could've died!" I say while trying to catch my breath. "Yeah but you're still here. Which is disappointing." He says before I walking away.

I swiftly run up to him and jump on his back, causing him to fall onto the couch. "Payback!" I yell while tickling him. "(Y/n)!" He yells while laughing.

When we finally calm down we go back into the dinning room where my costume is. I grab it and put it on, now matching Finney. "You two look so cute!" My mom gushes as she takes a photo on my polaroid camera. I'm so keeping that. "Let's go, you don't wanna miss out!" She says as she pushes us out the house.

About two seconds after she shuts the door I knock. She opens confused before I shout, "Trick or Treat!" "Trick, now leave before I give you raisins." She slams the door in my face. "I really thought that would work." I shrug and turn back to Finney who's laughing at me, which looks stupid in his ghost costume. I grab his arm and pull him along.

"Trick or Treat!" We shout as the first door opens. "Aw look at you two!" The lady says before giving us candy. "Thank you!" I shout before walking off. We continue going house to house until we meet up with Gwen and Ryan. "My favorite five year olds!" I shout and hug Gwen. She looks confused at first before realizing it's me and Finn. "You two look idiotic!" She laughs before hugging me back. "At least we tried!" I say back before turning to Ryan.

"Ahh, Mr. Zombie. Keeping Gwen safe I assume?" I try to look intimidating, but having a sheet with blushing cheeks is not scary. "Yes ma'am, I assume your ghost boyfriend is doing the same." He smirks, "Wha- Hes not my boyfriend!" I shout. "What ever makes you happy." He says before walking back off with Gwen.

"I hate those two." I tell Finn, "You love us!" I hear Gwen shout. "How in the world did she hear me?!"
