Now this brings me onto the DREADED Authors note...

. I'm hardly an author and began to write 'My Brother's best friend' in late 2020 when I was practically sitting in my bedroom, staring at the raindrops that rolled down my window.

So yeah, Lockdown in England sucked. So, after reading some surprising well-written books here on wattpad, I set off on my mission to find a 'Brother's best friend' book that didn't have a super cliche plot with a blond-haired virgin as a main character. Funnily enough, I got nowhere and was very unsuccessful.

So what did I do?

...I picked up my powerless laptop, stuck a charger into it and got to work on my first chapter.

Within that night alone, I got a whopping 3 views (One being myself and another being my personal account)

But still, the fact that someone out there had read my work filled me with more accomplishment than a full month of online school. Soon, I found myself spending the last few days before christmas smacking away at my keyboard.

Being completely honest, the book is still cliche, but I tried. However, it has a fast plot and more relatable characters than a 'skinny blond girl' (Low-key dissing myself here as that is literally me but we vibe)

Anywho, my reason behind writing a 'Brother's best friend' story is kinda because I may have a teensy...wincy.... incy... crush on my brother's best friend who is a year older than me. I have previously tried to romanticize the idea, as i do with every aspect of my life, but nonetheless this book is not based on him nor does the plot resonate with any of my experiences...

.... A girl can only dream.

...Or, I guess she could just write a wattpad story for the meantime.
