The door opened, and my breath stopped immediately.
Thankfully it was him who opened, and I didn't have to speak with any of his family members.
He looked amazing standing there. Black jeans, black hoodie, black hair. We made eye contact for a second before his eyes moved down to the basket I was holding.
I stood a couple steps away from the doormat to give us some space.
"H-hi" I stuttered
He curled a brow
"Hi?"
Not until now it went up for me that I should've came up with a plan on how to explain all this.
"I brought you.." I mumbled, looking down at the cookies, "there's actually no.."
He turned his head to the side in confusion. I had no clue what to say.
"I made you some-"
I decided to take one step closer to him in case he didn't see the cookies that well. I thought it might've helped him understand the situation better.
I lifted my right foot off the ground, and made eye contact with him right before I missed the staircase, and tripped over the last step.
I face planted into the doormat outside his door.
Everything went crazy-fast, and all I could hear was the basket bouncing down the last couple steps.
Shit
A second had passed until I felt a pain in my nose. No part of me wanted to get up. I felt so embarrassed. I just had to ruin every moment.
All I felt like doing was disappearing, vanishing, and passing from sight.
Sadly, the only thing i actually managed to do was cry. I cried due to both the humiliation and pain. I knew Jeongin was standing there watching me.
"Shit" he said. I felt his hand on my back, "are you ok?"

I kept laying there, doing nothing.
He shook me a bit, causing me to slowly lift my head up. That's when I felt a drop of blood dripping down from my nose to my lips.
He leaned down to look at my face.
"Fuck" he mumbled
"I'm ok" I tried saying, but my voice sounded all broken
He lifted my head up by my hair
"You don't look okay" he responded
Another tear rolled down my cheek.
"Do you need, like, a bandaid?" He asked
I carefully lifted myself from the ground. Honestly, I felt fine physically. It was just a tiny scratch, but there was a lot of blood.
"Wait, follow me inside" he said
My heart jumped.
Was he really inviting me into his house?
After all, I guess this worked out.
I quickly picked up the basket before following after him. Two cookies survived the fall, which was more than expected. I let the others stay on the ground. They weren't edible anymore.
I stepped inside, holding the almost empty basket with one hand, while holding my other hand on my chin preventing the blood to drip down.
I took my shoes off and kicked them aside before closing the door behind me with my elbow.
"Come" he said
I felt my face filling up with blush. Hopefully he wouldn't notice it. Though, I'm sure he'd be happy to see it.
The house was quiet, so I assumed nobody else were home.
I followed him to the bathroom and he told me to put the basket down on a countertop.
"Wash off the blood" he demanded, nodding his head towards the sink.
I did as he told me to. I could hear him open up something while I tried rubbing all the blood off. It must've been a bandaid. I made sure to spend some time with my face in the sink, cause I found it calming. I needed to calm down a little after the whole incident.

"You done?" He asked
"Yeah" I replied, turning the sink off.
I took a look at myself in the mirror in front of me. The scar kept bleeding, but it wasn't too bad.
I turned around to face Jeongin. My heart beated fast. His face was close to mine, and I could see every single detail. He was beautiful.
I struggled keeping a normal looking face as he started placing the little band-aid on my nose.
His eyes were sharp, but shiny, and his hair layed beautifully on him.
"There we go" he said
I turned around to look at myself again. He placed the bandaid diagonally on my nose. I looked goofy, but it was alright.
I gazed down at the sad looking basket on the counter. Almost all my hard work was gone.
"What was that about by the way?" Jeongin asked after noticing me looking at it.
"Oh" I muttered, "I made you.."
"You made me cookies?!" He said, not letting me finish my sentence.
I nodded
"Wow, thanks man" he said, once again patting my back. I slightly jumped.
He picked one of them up, and put in in his mouth right away. I felt anxious waiting for a reaction.
"You take the other one" he pointed at the last cookie
I carefully picked it up, trying not to shake too much. I wouldn't say I wanted it, but I still did as he said.
"It's good" he said
I grinned happily before taking a bite myself. He was right, they were good. Not that I hadn't tried one earlier.
I kept staring at him. Man, was he handsome. Every single part of him looked good. I took a step closer to him, in hopes of raising his heartbeat.
"Where's the shirt tho?" He asked
Oh
I had to think fast.
"That was just a joke" I awkwardly laughed
He nodded, with a tiny bit of confusion.
I smiled at him
He didn't smile back
"So, how have you been since camp?" I asked
"Great, and you?" He said
He started wandering out the bathroom, and I followed close after.
"I've been doing good" I replied," you know, making cookies, gaming, thinking about a special person.."
"Ah" he responded, "a special person?"
"Yeah" I giggled
We were walking into what looked like the kitchen. His house was basic, but I liked it a lot. Might've been because of Jeongin himself.
"You're in love?" He asked
I got lightheaded
"I t-think so" I stuttered
"Who is it?"
