🎼I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
Feel like we about to break up
I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
Just wanna kiss and make up one last time🎼
"ARI" I yelled as I saw her fainting, another man rushing towards her catching her head before it hit the ground.
"Clean up" I waved my hand at my soldiers and zapped towards her, pointing my gun to the man holding her.
"Hands where I can see them or I'll put these bullets right through you!" I said coldly, assessing the situation, his weak spots and his strengths. He looked roughed up too but not as bad as Ari.
As he looked up I saw his emotions clearly and found that his weak spot was actually in his arms. He was cradling Ari trying to keep her conscious. At my voice he pointed the gun at me, holding Ari closer. Nice to finally meet you Alex.
I lowered my gun and turned on my calm but serious voice, "She needs to get to the hospital now, we can't wait for the ambulance."
"I'm coming with you." He said hoarsely after looking into my eyes.
"I understand you have a lot of pent up emotions but this can't happen." I said as we rushed outside near my Jeep.
"I have the highest clearance here and If you don't let me get in there right now you'll regret it." He said, cold as ice.
My eyes flickered to my uniform and I saw I was wearing the FBI uniform from the pretend play we were doing in the office. I smirked.
Oh he's in for a huge surprise.
"Try me" I said.
Alex showed me 'The service so secret's identity card which replaced my smirk with slight surprise. Alex thought he had the upper hand and sat in the Jeep with Ariana in his lap.
I let out another smirk, wanting to laugh at Ari's situation. Oh she's going to be soooooo angry!
"Fine get in, but your friends will be blindfolded and one of ours will take them to the hospital." I sat in the driver's seat, my men filling in the rest.
He just grunts and nods to his -what I assumed were- friends and I signal Jack, the other driver, to get to the hospital. Alex was too busy taking care of her and his friends were doubtful of the setup, but one look at Ari and they all complied.
She has them all wrapped around her little finger, I shook my head in silent laughter.
We reach the hospital and the staff instantly recognized me. Another look at Ari made them widen their eyes and rush towards us with a gurney.
I rant off what I understood from her bruises and Alex added that glass shrapnel might be stuck too so they immediately take her into surgery, trying to stop the blood loss and get the glass out of her system.
That guy, Oli I heard someone call him passed orders right and left, it seemed he knew everyone and had this situation rehearsed multiple times. I guess FBI has it in one of their training sessions.
The doctor came out and gives a small smile Oli rushed to her and greeted her with a handshake.

"How is she?" I asked, slightly calmed by her smile.
"She's out of surgery but she has has a lot of blood loss, we had to close a lot of wounds her body needs time to recover so she'll be in and out of consciousness for a while." She said patting the arm of that FBI agent.
"Can I- Can I go see her?" I pleaded.
She looked at Oli and agreed when he nodded. Who is that guy anyways?
As soon as I enter I'm shocked! Not because of the tubes surrounding Ari, but because the damn room is painted black!
"She has her reasons..." Oli chuckled. "I'll come back later" he nodded at me.
A few minutes go by, or probably hours when I heard a knock on the door, Zach entered followed by Michael. Zach's eyes watered seeing Ari and took her hand in his.
Michael cleared his choked throat and said "I've sent Steve back to look over Alana, he'll be back with fresh clothes for you."
I nodded feeling bad that I forgot about my sister for a while, but I felt a hand on my shoulder and Michael squeezed it making me sigh.
I heard a knock on the door, "Can I have a moment?"
Zach and Michael moved but I felt reluctant, I didn't want to let her out of my sight, I didn't want to lose her again.
"You can stay, I actually need to talk to you." He said making me sigh with relief.
"You know her, how?" I asked.
"You should tell her about your job." Oli said after a few moments.
"I can't...and you can't either, it was a spur of the moment thing" I fumbled.
"Trust me, it will solve a lot of issues. And it might be a good way to start again." Oli stated.
I looked up to see him smiling. He knew something that's for sure. Something that could change my life for better or for worse.
A nurse came in and Oli went to her, whispered something in her ears that made her blush as she looked at me. Oli left with a smile and the nurse came in with a bath towel and sponge.
"Would you like to help?" She asked in a meek voice.
I nodded, not wanting to leave either.
As soon as the nurse starts cleaning her up, I see something strange. There were marks, old scars that aren't some 'I-fell-while-ice-skating' scar. They were 'I-used-my-body-as-a-war-sheild' scars. There were bullet holes, knife scars, and some even torture devices that I was familiar with in my line of work.
Oli- he knew. He seemed too poised to be an FBI agent. No paperwork, the secret hospital, the scars, the knowledge of 'Service so secret' - it all made sense.
She was one of us.
How did I miss this? I was trained to be better!
And the scars! How could someone hurt a soul like her's! I wish I was there to kill'em all. It that why we never- uh did it with the lights on? Did she know I was an agent too?
No that isn't possible, there are no records of my job appointment as I was supposed to be a 'mafia' guy who made all the necessary connections.

I don't understand if she's too good at her job or I'm that bad.
My mind starts running and I smile for the first time in a while, thinking of all the possibilities.
It's dark. No it's black. And no I'm not describing the DC universe, it's the room.
Wait black room with red table stand? They took me seriously? Oh thank the lord! I wanted to laugh but I choked on air from not using my throat in a while. How long was I out this time?!
I had them paint the room like hell so that I felt like I was finally where I belonged, just for a while. But right now I felt like I was in actual hell with all the contraptions attached.
Someone helped me raise my head and brought water to my mouth, I was grateful for him, thinking it was Oli being nice before he opened the chest of warnings and concerned anger.
As soon as my vision cleared I saw that it was Alex holding the glass of water.
I was so shocked I sprayed the water out and started coughing as some of it went down the wrong pipe. He patted my back as the door slammed open, entering a wild Oli.
"You have an earful to hear and you are grounded for a week missy." He said in his stern big brother voice.
"I'm not dead isn't that enough of a punishment?" I joked.
"Oh I already thought of your punishment" he smirked. "Ariana meet Alex, commander of Team P, Alex meet Ariana- a freelancer for the big boss." He tips his invisible hat and walks out with a smirk.
"He sure knows a lot for a FBI agent." Alex mumbled.
I was still groggy from the accident so I moved whatever he said to my subconscious and turned to look at Alex who looked slightly less roughed up and slightly less shocked than me.
"Oh my, I-I..." I looked up into his eyes. His face hardened with determination. This is it. The end. The apocalypse is here.
Before he could say anything I started what I had to say for myself, "I know you're wondering how could you! Don't you have a heart? Don't you care, I hate you, I never want to see you again... But I guess I don't have one. I mean it was difficult for me..." He tries to speak. But I interrupt him.
"Of course not everything was a lie, I genuinely do care about everyone. But you won't believe that, I guess it's natural. I get it if you don't trust me, I have some trust issues as well. But I can't seem to figure out how easy trust seemed in the mansion. They-they hate me too right?
You probably never want to see me and I- I respect that. Honestly I wouldn't want me to see me too if I did that, why do you think I got this room painted like hell? It's where I belong! I do things and don't even regret them, I always find some kind of excuse. You're probably here to kill me right? Go ahead do it while I'm fresh and already dying, I won't even resist. I mean I'll try not to, you know how it is, fighting to survive..."
"I LOVE YOU"
"I deserve that." I sighed. "Wait WHAT?!"
My heart beat accelerated. The beeping sound went crazy on the machine. I hurriedly tried to turn of machine, of course the one time a guy says I love you he literally gets to hear my heartbeat faster than a turbine.
I accidentally raised the bed by pushing some button which brought us closer. I finally gained some sense and removed the clip attached to my finger all the while trying to remember if what he said was what I heard or I was under some drug still. Probably drugs.
A small smirk tugged on his face.
"I promised myself if I could see you one more time, I would confess." He took my hand, the one I unattached in his hand and kissed the back of it.
Sadness flashed on his face followed by fear and anger. He went deep in thought, probably trying to remember which ones were lies and which the truth.
"I -uh -Let's put everything aside of a moment, can we?" He nodded.
"Sooo Team P?" I looked through my lashes, dragging the 'so'.
"I work for the agency, same as you apparently." He said, disappointed.
"You mean you were undercover too?" This made him look up sharp into my eyes, glaring holes but still squeezing my hands.
"Yes"
"So everything was a lie from your part too wasn't it?" I said gaining a little confidence.
"Is that what you really think?" He moved closer, his hand moving to my arms.
"Not everything..." I said, a little breathless from my rant earlier, or maybe it was him.
"We need to talk Ari" He said, almost a whisper. They way he said my name had goosebumps going down my spine.
"Pre-preferrably before the agency figures it out" I said trying not to look at his lips but failing miserably.
"I have that under control" he smirked and back away leaving me cold and -frustrated.
"I just don't understand if you were too good at your job or I was that bad at mine." I said looking down.
He took a sharp breath when I said that. His fingers were on my jaw in a snap and he kissed me rough. It was like a starved man was devouring his catch, and the prey loved it. The kiss had it all, lip biting, teeth clashing, tongues dancing and breathless gasps. This kiss was like a kiss between two fierce lovers that found each other after an eternity. We craved for each other and we didn't even know until this moment.
"We'll talk soon." Alex pulled back, still breathing hard from that feverishly hot kiss.
"You're just gonna leave?" I asked still reeling from the kiss that seemed to be going places.
He smirked looking back at me and walked out of the door.
Dumbfounded I picked up my chart to see what I was in for and oh my my... Atleast life wanted to fúck me.
