《Slasher House (Completed)》10

The next morning you rose early and made it to the kitchen before anyone else. You began preparing breakfast and setting the table.
Slowly one by one the boys started making their way into the kitchen, still sleepy eyed and being drawn in by the smell of food.
They settled at the table all but Thomas who walked up behind you, allowing you to lean onto his shoulder. "Good morning." you smiled. He retured a groggy good morning in a sleepy deep morning voice.
He helped carry plates over and you couldn't help but smile a bit at the glare Michael sent Thomas's way. They were always so jealous of the attention each other got.
You sat down as everyone began eating and took small bites of your food. Everyone seemed to be having a good morning until there was a knock on the door.
You got up to answer it and as you opened it a man with dagger fingered gloves reached in and slashed at your face, causing you to scream and jolt back.
You sat up in bed sweating from the nightmare. You immediately switched the light on and pushed your hair back and out of your face.
Thundering footsteps led down the hall until both Michael and Thomas burst in your room. "What?" Thomas asked loosely.
You tried your best to hold back tears as you tried to explain. Finally you got out that there was a man with a knife glove and he was trying to kill you.
Norman was in the room at this point. "That would be Freddy." he said rolling his eyes. "He stops in from time to time but there's a reason he doesn't live here."
You straightned up a bit at the sound of boots tapping down the hallway. Considering everyone was in your room, you had an idea of who might be about to walk through the door.

The man with burnt skin and knife fingered gloves walked into your room making you cringe. Michael, Thomas and Jason all stood in his way to you but he casually walked towards you.
"Sorry dollface, had to get one good scare in before I introduced myself." he said sending a chilling wink your way.
Jason took a step towards him, making him back up a bit. "It's okay Jason." you interrupted. You didn't want to cause any trouble with the sleep demon.
"You heard her mama's boy." Freddy snickered sending a growl from Jason. Freddy walked closer to you, making you shiver a bit. You eye'd his glove.
Thomas sat back on your bed with you, holding your hand in his. "Oh so she's banging the hillbilly." Freddy laughed. This not only made Thomas make a very threatening sound but also Michael.
"Ooh I get it, three way." he snickered as Jason grabbed him by his neck and threw him into the wall. You let out a little scream.
Thomas only held your hand a little tighter. Freddy got up and walked back over to you. "I get it, I'm not welcome now, but you'll see me soon." he said with a wink as he disappeared.
As soon as he was gone the tears spilt over and Thomas pulled you into his lap. He stroked your hair and tried to calm you down.
"Don't worry y/n, it's all threats with Freddy." Norman said, trying to help calm you. You nodded, "I'm okay." you said nodding your head and wiping away your tears.
Everyone left the room and Thomas began to rise from your bed but you grabbed his hand. "Please stay." you said quietly.
Thomas nodded and crawled into bed beside you, letting you lay your head on his chest as you slowly found peace again.

They called him the Divine Enchanter. A man who reached the apex on the profession of enchanting. Albeit of his position of great power, he decides that nothing matters anymore as he has grown tired of living after millennia. This is the story of a powerful man that decided to end his life, only to survive and find himself in a changed version of his world. A mysterious entity has taken over the world and everyone adores it as it gives away free power unlike the divinities of yore. What has happened since he has been away? Author’s note: This story is a mix of everything but centered on crafting. There will be action, there will be politics, but the MC is an enchanter, not a fighter or a diplomat. The MC begins with an existencial crisis and suicide thoughts. (Added Traumatising Content warning, though I won't further than that in the story) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
