《Austeled one-shots》The journal (pt. 2)

I saw eteled sitting in the middle of the mii channel, with his head buried in his knees.
The journal sat beside him, untouched.
"Eteled." I called out quietly. His head shot up, suprised. His face was bright red, tears resting in his eyes.
Eteleds pov
Great. First he sees my diary, and then he sees me like this.
I'll never hear the end of it.
I mumbled loud enough for him to hear.
I burried my head back into my knees, groaning. I heard him begin to walk, his footsteps coming closer and closer. He sat down next to me, sighing. There was a moment of silence, not including the muffled music in the background.
"Do you-.. Actually like me?" He asked, hesitantly.
Fuck. So he did read those pages.
God, I just wanna fucking dissappear right now.
I lifted my head up from my knees, looking off into the distance.
I replied, wrapping my arms around my waist.
I could feel tears sting my eyes, but I just blinked them away.
I didn't want him to know. Ever.
There was a long pause.
"Who said I don't like you back?" he mumbled.
He head shot up, looking directly at him. I opened my mouth to speak, but when I tried, nothing came out. He was looking towards the screen in front of us. I noticed his face was red and he was smiling.
"Y'know, sometimes I thought I made it so obvious. I'd always panic about if I had been too forward. But, I mean clearly not if your this embarrassed about me finding out." He continued, laughing between words.
I questioned.
He sighed and responded.
"God, I told myself that so many times. But it never seemed to go through. No matter how many times I denied it, it never went away. I eventually just- gave up denying it." He continued.

I looked down, questioning everything.
I felt him place a cold finger under my chin, lifting my head up to face his.
"Your eyes make you look adorable, y'know." He commented.
I groaned, breaking eye contact, making him giggle.
That giggle is fucking adorable. Absolutely fucking adorable.
He moved himself closer, smiling. There was a moment of silence, where we both just stared into each others eyes.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked suddenly, snapping me back into reality.
I could feel my face heat up, unexpectant of the question.
I answered, being cut off by him kissing me.
I closed my eyes, embracing the moment. I felt his soft lips press gently against mine. He cupped my head in his hands, deepening the kiss.
Eventually, our lips parted as we both needed to breathe.
I gazed into his eyes in disbelief, making him smile back. Not his usual dickhead smile, but a real one. I couldn't help but smile back. I felt a light shock, indicating the wii had been switched on.
We both instinctively jumped away from each other.
Sam whined.
"It's fine Sam." He complained, rolling his eyes.
She stated bluntly.
She then asked if I wanted to play wii sports, to which I accepted.
I saw Eteled go off into wii sports, leaving me alone in the mii channel.
Does Sam not realise they can play together outside the wii?-
Oh well.
I eventually fell asleep, despite the annoying ass music in the background.
I woke up to the sound of Eteled and Sam saying goodbye to each other, and then the wii switching off. I felt my eyes automatically shut, due to fatigue. I could still hear, as my brain refused to fall asleep again.
I heard footsteps coming closer.
I heard Eteled mumble, making me bite back a smile.
He sat down beside me, leaning against my arm. I felt all my senses wash away as my brain gave into the fatigue.
Austin and Eteled kept dating behind closed doors.
If Sam found out, the questions would never end, so they kept pretending to hate each other, until one day..

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
